I don't pray the way you do. Ephesians tells me I'm already strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. So I don't have to pray for it.
You misunderstand completely.
Praying for His Spirit to lead me isn't asking to be connected to Him over and over, I'm simply asking for the Spirit in me, to lead me every day, that's how it works, His Spirit leads us to all truth, so acting as if you've acceded to a level beyond those that pray this way is kind of divisive, and rings of the "haves vs. the have not's" type mentality. IMO Look if you think you've reached the level you need to stay at that's fine with me, honestly that's between you and God, but when you start acting as if YOU have all figured out to the point you can actually "teach" them how to pray. Okay???.....

I was only commenting on the way you seem to make yourself equal with God, not a slave (as in a person who is excessively dependent upon or controlled by something.) of Christ like we truly are. Just and observation, in no way a comment about your salvation at all.

I don't have a sin nature. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?
Its called the wage of sin death by corruption, suffering the pangs of hell . (separated from God a fool.)

Cain who killed his brother Abel the first recorded prophet apostle and first recorded martyr. Cain working according to the natural order (No faith ) of paganism .(out of sight out of mind. Plowed his brother under in the corn field.

God revealed the kind of death he would experience. He was hoping for a easy way out without suffering he said. "My punishment is greater than I can bear" He had no sabbath rest working in him to both will and do the good pleasure of God not seen as did Abel who was yoked with Christ the power that worked in Abel .

He remained on death role, hiding from believers all the days of his life. The Holy Spirit placed the "mark" of his Word (666 natural unconverted mankind ) on him to show he is a God of His word what he says will come to pass. .

And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark (666) upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. Genesis 4: 13-15

No hanging, no electric chair, no lethal gas, no guillotine . Simply carry out the wage of sin death with out Christ making the burden lighter..

I don't teach the old testament.
Wow, you leave out half the story? You rob your students of the whole picture, and half the amazing glory of God. I have never heard anyone state this. Do you just not teach it, or reject it, find it too harsh?

Why don't you teach it before I assume anything, can you tell me why you took this position?

Hmmm, sounds like word of faith, law of attraction, New Apostolic Reformation, Dominion Theology, etc..............

We are in Christ and the Spirit dwells in us, but we are NOT divine. To have any divinity would be to make us equal with God.

Satan wanted to be like God and that's also the lie that brought about the fall of mankind.

:cautious:
I don't care what His intention is. Everything he said is right, and I have been edified by the Word. If he strays doctrinally, then point it out, but for now, let God who weighs the hearts of men be his judge.
