They are like me ...i grew up going to Church every Sunday ...but i was still a dead spirit. They are not going be Elected unless GOD sees in the future that they physically die as His Child ...so the goal is to get them on that path.
brother it isn’t you who gets to decide consider this teaching of Jesus to someone who looked at sinners as if they weren’t allowed to come to jesus
“And,
behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And
stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it,
he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
And
Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
There was a
certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay,
he frankly forgave them both.
Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most.
And he said unto him,
Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
And
he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
Luke 7:37-50 KJV
who would ever argue with jesus of he wants to save a sinner and rebuke a “righteous” man ? She loved jesus , he didn’t she was a known sinner of many sins he was a known oharisee who would strain out a gnat to keep a detail of the law . But she knew who jesus was he didn’t
you don’t want to look at other peoples sins and try to determine thier salvation only Jesus has that right and role if he chooses to save a great sinner he will and who’s going to argue with him ?
do you recognize there that the woman was a sinner but she loves Jesus dearly ?
we need tomlewrn from Jesus and the gospel brother all those scriptures about not judging are meant to make us learn and become more like Jesus who as you see there saves a sinner before he saves a person believing themselves righteous
the oharisee was sitting with the lord of the universe and didn’t offer the customs of the time no oil for his head no washing of his feet no holy kiss but he was a strict keeper of the works of the law of sin she was a well known sinner but she recognized her lord and redeemer and came in repentance and love to him knowing who it was who could save her
brother it’s good to speak that sin is poison and we need to repent but you can’t cut out the part that Jesus is our propitiation when we have sinned and will forgive us through repentance. If you do that your preaching another form of Moses law that doesn’t remit sin that’s not what the gospel is
you have to let Jesus do the judging because that’s what he said and that’s who we are all going to face in the end his judgements that teach us not to judge and condemn other sinners because he didn’t condemn us
what if the guy on the cross ? He did. I thing but recognize Jesus and believe the gospel he’s been preaching of the kingdom confessed his sin and loved Jesus he was with him the same day in paradise regardless of all the people saying “ that guy can’t be saved he’s not a sinless person “ ……..he believed in Jesus the messiah and savior of the world and was saved
Jesus will deal with our sins if we learn from him he can lead us right out of bondage but we have to follow his ways not the old ways and not our own ways it has to be the ways of the kingdom including not judging others and never forgetting that he forgave all our sins and didn’t disqualify us , why would he anyone else who believes and follows after him ?
our judgement isn’t “ have your sinned and how much ?” We all have and are all guilty by that standard would all be lost
the standard is who will repent and believe the gospel and follow
After where he leads us through the gospel ot will never fail to cut away the sinfulness in our heart and impart true righteousness
but our eyes have to be on him not on other peoples sins that we really kind of are imagining because we haven’t met them just found they didn’t agree with us on a website …
