Still think Thomas was referring to Christ as the God who SENT him?
Looks like another JW is here to trouble unsuspecting souls. The Bible says regarding heretics, they are to be rejected after the first and second admonition: A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself (Tit 3:10,11)

The Bible also clearly says that Jesus is God: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God [THEOS] was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Tim 3:16 KJB)

WHAT is TRUTH?
Yes, i do. Remember that once the LORD of Isaiah 43 came and took on human flesh - HE emptied Himself - Hebrews ch1 Php 2:7

When HE was on earth HE was fulfilling His Words and bringing to pass His Salvation as the SERVANT.

As the SERVANT, HE would be addressing the Father s His Father and His God.
-------------------------------------
Remember- he said (twice) that no man has seen God, and that he was SENT by him.

Remember- he said (twice) that no man has seen God, and that he was SENT by him.
And this is how we know that Christ is God, for only the LORD was With God in the Beginning and was God...........John 1:1

WHAT is TRUTH?
John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2- He was in the beginning with God;
3- all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.

Ex 7:1-And Jehovah said to Moses, See, I have made thee God to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. - Darby

Unless you think it really reads~ In the beginning was Jesus, and the Word was Jesus, and the Word was Jesus.

WHAT is TRUTH?
Heb 1:1- God having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets,
2- at the end of these days has spoken to us in [the person of the] son, whom he has established heir of all things, THROUGH whom also he made the worlds!

John 17: 26- I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Rabbi Tarfon or Tarphon was a member of the third generation of the Mishnah sages, who lived in the period between
the destruction of the Second Temple (70 CE) and the fall of Betar (135 CE).
A passage recorded in the Hebrew Tosefta, Shabbat 13:5, quoting Tarfon referring to the early Christian writings~

Shabbat 13:5:The books of the Evangelists and the books of the minim they do not save from a fire [on the Sabbath].
They are allowed to burn up where they are, they and [even] the references to the Divine Name that are in them.

There is debate as to whether Tarfon's reference to the minim is to be taken as a reference to heretical Jews in general,
or to a particular group of them, for example Jewish gnostics or Jewish Christians according to preferred interpretations
of gilyonim and minim.

Note: The first Christians WERE Jews...

Christians believe the (closed) Canon of Scripture; true Christians believe the Holy Bible reveals all Truth that God wants us to know about Him, His plan of salvation, and how we are to live. Can we read historical accounts of the time, can people have prophesies or words of wisdom? Yes. But the way we test these things is to test it against Scripture. As to how Rabbi' Tarfon's teaching or the Shabbat would reveal what Christ says of Himself is confusing to me.Yes, the first Jews were Christians, but of course Rabbi Tarfon is not a Christian.

WHAT is TRUTH?
How were Thomas’s words taken out of context?
Jesus said over and over that he was FROM God, even saying to the disciples that he HAD a God.
The God who gave him authority to receive his life BACK!

So, Thomas was praising both his Lord, and the One who resurrected him- Jehovah!

YES, we KNOW this to be TRUE for the WORD was revealed for us = John 1:14

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

He stated that it was God's Name they were after!
Again, I don't understand what you're meaning is. Could you write a short statement / summary of what you personally believe regarding God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit? Most Christians (though not all) understand that 'The Trinity' is not found in scripture--that is it isn't explicit--however it is implicit throughout that the three are ONE. This doctrine was merely an academic way (can't think of the exact word) to explain the mystery of God being three yet ONE.

I always say we need to be careful, not to isolate verses, but to always look at the whole of scripture--the scripture is ONE too.;)

And by the way. I wouldn't want you banned as long as you are respectful in your interactions. the people that need to be banned are those who are consistently rude and attacking or just seeking to cause trouble amongst the brethren.

This type of dialogue strengthens my faith and has me digging more deeply to find truth that supports my faith. I'm also encouraged by the sharing of others. Sadly our churches have gotten far from the Truth and so to see there are a few faithful believers standing on God's word is an encouragement to me.

If you don't mind me asking, are you affiliated with any particular denomination?

First of all, God ISN"T a mystery- it means everlasting life to KNOW him! (John 17:3)
Second of all, God identified himself as ALMIGHTY- that NONE were equal to him. (Altho his son comes close!)
Third of all, he said that his Name "Jehovah" , not Jesus, would be His FOREVER.
Fourth, there is no God-the-Ghost, a 'Holy Ghost'!
AND finally Jesus SAID He was the only true God!

Thank you for not wanting me banned- I mean NOBODY ill will!

If Jesus wasn't God, He would have rebuked Thomas for saying "My Lord and my God".

There are numerous other Scripture passages which wouldn't make sense if Jesus wasn't/isn't God.

YEHOVAH is the LORD is the WORD that became flesh = JESUS John 1:1-18 and Isa 43 and Acts chs 1-4

For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD,
“and My servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may consider and believe Me
and understand that I am He.
Before Me no god was formed,
and after Me none will come.
I, yes I, am the LORD,
and there is no Savior but Me.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
and you shall be witnesses to ME (JESUS the LORD) in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Yes that is true regarding Israel worshipping False Gods as Savior, but he DID foretell who he would send as savior in Daniel and Isaiah!
Need me to quote those to you?
