Physical Israel, physical Palenstine no longer have anything to do with the bible, they are the same as all the other worldly people. For Christ came to His own people and His own people would not receive Him, so God switched to adoption. Now it does not matter whether you are physically Jew, Gentile, or hillbilly, all must obey the gospel of Christ in baptism to become Gods people. We are now the new Israel to receive blessings, we now stand where they used to stand. They are no longer God's people, but they can become God's people by obeying His Son just like the rest of us. When Revelation speaks of Israel it is no longer talking about a physical land, but about God's born again Christians.

The Arab States can't defeat Israel on their own. This has been proved from the defeats they suffered form 1948 ton 1973.
That means that their next attempt will involve some major powers then we would be in a WW3 scenario.

I think everyone is wrong until Jesus returns

but I do think Israel has the right to the land they possess, and as their neighbours make it no secret they want Israel destroyed, it amazes me that so much of the Scandinavian media manage to make Israel the bad guys

Israel cannot and will not be defeated it will look as though they are and they will flee Jerusalem to Petra which is an uninhabited city in Jordan and their brother will help and feed them their till they regroup and fight again and and that's when they will call on the one whom they pierced and he will fight for them in the valley of megiddo. I don't plan on being here for that but, for those who do it's the word of God.

The original promise concerning the land given to Abraham was fulfilled during the reigns of David and Solomon. The condition God gave to Israel through Moses was that they would live in the land provided they obeyed their part of the covenant. After Solomon Israel as one united nation ceased to exist. It was divided and formed the nations of Israel known as Ephraim with Samaria as its capital and Judah with the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi centered round Jerusalem. Israel and its ten tribes descended into Idolatry and was conquered by the Assyrians. The tribes never returned to their land but were replaced by the Samaritans who were people of mixed race. About four hundred years later the Babylonians conquered Judah Idolatry being the same reason. Some were allowed to return to Jerusalem by the Persians.

All through the O/T Israels occupation of the land was conditional on its obedience to the covenant. The only reason they are there today is for judgement. That is why they have no peace and will not have peace until they recognize Jesus as their Messiah and return to God. The bible says a remnant will be saved not everyone who claims to be Jewish by Birth
Jesus said no man can come to the father accept by him, he never made an exception.

So what does Romans 11 mean?
In verse 23 it says God can graft them back in (meaning they are not in currently). So it's just like I said, they are no longer part of God's people, but they can become God's people once again IF they get baptized into Christ just like everyone else.

No,they are still the chosen people. They are blinded right now but they will come to recognize Christ as their Messiah. A remnant will be saved. Romans makes that clear. God did not switch adoption, you are talking about replacement theology ,and that is a false doctrine.

The promises were made to Abraham and his seed Christ. National Israel was never promised anything.

Galatians 3:16 KJV
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Who do you think is right?
I don't doubt for a moment that God promised the children of israel that land.

He also said if they were disobedient, He would scatter them.

did God remove the "scattering" thing in 1948? or was that man's idea?

Well, Isaiah 11:11 says that God is going to regather them a SECOND time. 1st was after Babylonian captivity.

So yeah, I'm thinking the Jews in Israel are there today because of God Almighty!

Rom 11:
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. [SUP]29 [/SUP]For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

God through paul said they are beloved even as enemies of the gospel.

I would take heed and do what God says don't you agree?

As for Israel and Palestine and peace.

There will be no peace until the blindness of Isreal is removed, and Christ returns, then the whole world will honor the messiah, And Israel returned completely to her land.

yes the election of Israel (v7 same word) are beloved for the fathers sakes, not unbelieving Israel. They are still enemies,
