With Christ , we can repent of all our sins, not conning God but being totally honest with Him. The Lord says when you repent, and your sins are forgiven , He dose not want to even hear about it again. She or He is a new person. They can even remarry the first person. because they are a new person.
The sin is gone.
God is a divorced entity ,.

8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
9 And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the Lord.
So God divorced Israel , but when Christ died on the cross, that left her free to remarry ,back into the Father house, why ?
Because Christ , in His dieing on the cross, shed His blood, to pay for sin. , all sins except one..
It is absolute that Christ, through His blood shed on the cross forgives every sin, with the exception of one, which is called the unforgivable sin,
Luke chapter 12: 10. That unforgivable sin is only able to be committed by the a few, and at a certain time in the future.
