His prophetic readings are a sham as well...you fill out a card that gives the so-called prophet what we call leading information about you.....its witchcraft and plain and simple...

Several years ago we were mentoring a young Christian couple that left and went to BSSM[bethel school of supernatural ministry]....they came back just completely and utterly messed up spiritually, emotionally, physically....just totally messed up...

Those sozo room encounters are evil....both told us they had to experience an encounter of sozo....that is when they knew something was wrong....people were saying they had demons and all sorts of other things....look at the terms they use...encounter, experience, readings, etc....

Ironically there is a demon principality by the name of ZoZo....his domain is the Ouija boards....go figure...
Hypocrites There is just no love at all in you

about Joyce Meyer...I don't know why it would be difficult to ascertain if she is still WOF or not

just listening to her teaching or reading her books will determine that she is not

the following is from her site ... there is no problem finding out info on the net and I don't know why it would seem to be a problem for some ?

however, here is a link that states the Meyer ministries do not teach WOF

Is Joyce Meyer Ministries a "word of faith" ministry?

    • Joyce Meyer Ministries believes in the Word of God. Joyce teaches that God has made promises to us in His Word and as believers, we should trust His promises (see 2 Peter 1:3,4 ). However, it can be damaging when people place their faith in faith alone instead of placing their faith in God. Misappropriation of God’s promises solely for personal gain is not scripturally supported.

  • Does Joyce Meyer Ministries teach a "prosperity gospel"?
    • Joyce Meyer Ministries believes that God desires to bless His people. Joyce teaches that God’s blessings and prosperity apply to the spiritual, emotional, physical and financial areas of life. These blessings and prosperity are then to be used to bless others (see Genesis 12:2). A “prosperity gospel” that solely equates blessing with financial gain is out of balance and could damage a person’s walk with God.

You should know sevenseas that I did look at the site you posted and read it. The question is on what basis should I believe the answers by joyce myer's own staff that she is not wof anymore? In 1991 I wrote a letter to kenneth copland ministries where copeland taught that Jesus Christ died spiritually and was born again in hell. In fact I still have the letter and in it the person told me that brother copeland was not implying that Jesus was a sinner and needed salvation.

The fact is I was not implying that Jesus was a sinner and needed salvation. I was going by what copeland stated on his cassett tape, "What Happened From the Cross to the Throne." I also still have the tape. In that tape copeland starts out by saying the exact words to his audience, "You don't know what happened at the cross." He then goes on to explain how Jesus Christ went down into hell and was tortured by Satan and his minions in hell until God the Father bellowed out, "enough," let Him loose and then Jesus was born again.

Other wof teachers taught the same exact thing and they got it from copeland. Here is joyce meyer on the subject.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFG7cXOLiQQ She still have more than one multi-million dollar houses, a private jet and other goodies. If a person is really going to repent they would come out an rennounce these blamphemous teachings publicly. Jim Bakker who ended up in jail came out a real born again man and rennouced everything he had done.

I just happened to have watched her. I do not watch her every day, but I did just happen to watch her.

She just finished saying do not have faith in faith, but have faith in a person, Jesus Christ and that is 100% biblical

1991 was a long time ago. I am not the same person I was back then, are you?

my grandfather was a millionaire. does that mean I do not love God? or that he did not love God?

it is irksome that some seem to believe you cannot love God if you are rich. now if riches are your God, that is another story, but I have really looked into the Joyce Meyer ministries and they are actually on the ground helping people. Not singing songs and swaying on stage or all about emotions and feeling good.

that video is really old and people seem to enjoy presenting is as proof of her WOF teaching

but like I said, I have changed, she has changed and if anyone could see themselves 20 or so years ago, they might be a little embarrassed at what they believed or thought was true

it's no skin off my back if you don't care for her. there are more than a few I do not care for myself.

she is not the same person as in that video. if she was, I would not care for her teaching.

I can't watch Jim Baker. He has fallen into the same trap as before with less success. but you know, if you think he is all that, well.........

but don't tell someone to watch a video from like 20 years ago or whatever. I don't live in a time warp and frankly I am surprised myself at how much Joyce makes sense.

so like here is a current video from Joyce Meyer entitled Why Doesn't God Give me What I Want?

that would hardly be a WOF teaching

HERE IT IS

you do not actually know the word of God you purport to represent, do you!

it is BECAUSE people lack judgement, good, sound, BIBLICAL discernment and judgment, that they fall for the ungodly nonsense that is WOF

it is more of a cult than a movement. it has more than enough cult characteristics, including the rabid loyalty of its adherents to qualify as such. of course those that God has mercifully brought to their senses are just as rabid to denounce it but that's another story and one that those still encased, do not want to hear one single word about

if you actually knew the word of God, you would know that we absolutely are to judge the teaching and results of said teaching, that are offered

God will be your judge. we are not. and before you are quick to say that you welcome that, I advise you not to say that as God may take you up on it by your very words. I know that will not stop you.

a person may become involved in something with an innocent heart and I believe God weighs that when we pray. that has happened to many people and they have their eyes opened as they pray for the Holy Spirit to lead them out of falsehood, deception or false teaching etc. thing is, it may be a difficult journey, but one that is not taken alone. Again, God is merciful and will lead us out of deception and will be more than happy to show us what is false.

I know a good number of people here will attest to having been involved in this WOF heresy and became aware of how it contradicted the Bible and how scripture was twisted to suit the false beliefs.

from other threads you have started, and the posts you create in them, the snarking and sarcastic comments to those who try to point out your many errors from scripture and the personal attacks against them, it is most likely safe to say you will continue in much the same manor

this post for those who actually want the truth and wish to abide by the truth, be led in the truth and understand that while God can and does heal, He does not do so on command

it not the faith of a person that determines if God will heal or not. it is the OMNIPOTENCE of God that determines if He will heal or not

despite the proof, the overwhelming proof that most are not healed, WOF continues to say God wants everyone to be healed

do you hear yourselves?
its nto faith that determins if youre healed or not? amazing new truth because I read Jesus said over and over that it was faith that healing came about.. Then Jesus taught His discples to do the very same things.. so much so that there wasnt enough books to contain it all... who is sick in Heaven? nobody! let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven... problem is you people keep planting doubt..... be doubters but it is a horrible thing to tell folks that healing doesnt come... why not to all? we dont know everything about them as Christ who searches does..

people interpret the word by experience.. thats the problem... each of us have our own relationship with God.. nobody knows if someone refused to let go of unforgiveness or never repented of something.. to say you know folks who werent healed is empty meaningless talk..

to not forgive and not repent is lack of faith.. He is solid in meanings.. you cant merely say you believe and it count.. people are fooled but God knows.. Too many accounts thru the whole Bible to refute healing not being available for all... even people who weren't in the fold received.. its easier to say God doesnt heal than it is to actually live and believe all of the word

Might I recommend the garlic mashed potatoes and the gluten-free black bean burgers ? They're currently running a special on the "Time of Trouble Tasty Deluxe Plus Offer" for only $10,976.00. Over 10,000 servings at only $.33 a serving with a 25 year shelf life. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. That should get you thru the great tribulation :).

When you say heaven, do you mean the heaven that was created in Genesis 1:1 or the Heaven which was made in Genesis 1:7?

this is a baloney teaching and a typical response

you people?

you people, pause, plant doubt in God because most people are not healed

Jesus said if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed

if someone asks, they have faith

EVERYTHING we have comes from God, including our faith. go study up on it

can you just imagine? I know someone who was wanting to cough up 5,000.00 smackeroos so when times go tough, we could still indulge our food fantasies

Baker is still hustling people, asking for money ALL the time and makes sure to plug into whatever prophecy is currently making the rounds

and still building buildings and expecting Christians to fill the coffers. it's sad. I think he is sincere, but sincerely not right on target

oh the irony

Jesus healed EVERYONE who came to him. how many have been healed through you demanding God heal?

such hypocrisy and you don't even realize it

and repentance does not mean beating your chest and wailing. it means to CHANGE your mind

that's good advice for you and several others here

You should also know (and I'm going to head this off at the pass now) that many excuses have been brought up by wof advocates that the so-called "Heresy hunters" take what these people say and teach out of context.

I couls go on and on with these types of quotes and teachings but to what end? It's ironic that in spite of these lies people are still "duped" into following these wolves.
First off, I've seen Joyce preach and it's to have faith in God. Second, it's true that people slander her. Never heard of "Heresy hunters" but it probably describes the bullies who make Youtube videos taking things out of context and replacing their words to make them look bad.

One of these bullies made a video saying that a preacher was a heretic for using the word "person" to describe Lord Jesus. This person said that the preacher was a false prophet wicked wolf in sheep's clothing and that "person" was a word used only to describe a man in the flesh.

Well guess what? I closed the video, then remembered this:

Hebrews 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high

Wow, scripture referring to God as a person? Maybe that "heresy hunter" should spend more time discerning and less time slandering.

You just said people were "duped" in to following these wolves, and said you could go on and on with quotes, but you haven't actually quoted anyone. If you're going to teach that someone is a false teacher, can you please link the videos or source material so we can see for ourselves?

After typing this I clicked on the website you provided and saw this:
This is the group that would seek to convince us that Jesus and His disciples were rich, that to be poor is a sin
That's not what Joyce teaches, at all. Sorry, no time for slander and pitiful envy.
