please explain how the law is a system. any part of breaking any part of the law....which includes all of it; is punishable by death. That includes what you refer to as a system.

Certain people like to reference Jesus saying to obey the commandments and so apply that to Christians who are not under law. Are you under law? NO ONE says we are free to sin. We understand that Jesus lived under the law but does not oblige anyone to keep any part of the law as a hangover from the law given to the Israelites.

Ever heard of the law of liberty?

the law of Christ is a law of liberty, a law of freedom made operative through the Spirit of God within us. Nothing in our sin nature could produce a godly life. Indeed, it is opposed to righteousness. It is void of all power to do what pleases God Galatians 5: 1-7

God does not judge us on our ability to keep any commandment. In fact, we are made righteous in Christ and He alone is the way to God.

You say the 10 commandments are direct sins towards God. That, would automatically create sins that are not against Gods laws

No where in scripture is sin compartmentalized the way you indicate. Which sin does God overlook then? Which sin is not a direct insult to His perfection and holiness?

smh
the LAW, explains SIN, the Commandments, are the SINS, that can be committed towards God and His Creation.

Are you claiming He told His followers nothing about the Commandments ending at the Cross? That'd be a pretty huge oversight.
Well, they didn't even know about the cross.

Are you trying to tell us that Jesus didn't teach and obey the 10 Commandments?
Is Christ the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth? yes or no?

why are you insisting on the 10 commandments when we know no one can keep them?
This is a very oft-repeated objection to obeying the Commandments.

I will tell you that nobody in over a decade has ever answered the following question so I will offer it to you.

Can you please tell us which of the 10 Commandments is impossible to keep?
you misrepresent what Christians are actually saying when they point out what the Bibles states about obeying all the law. you leave out the part of animal sacrifice which points to the final sacrifice
All sacrificial ordinances expired at the Cross.

Well, they didn't even know about the cross.
Jesus sure did.

If something huge was supposed to change at that time, He would've made them all well aware of it.

Yes, Christ did teach and obey the 10 Commandments.

And the word "end" in that verse comes from the Old English KJV and it is used the same way that we would say "To what end do you take that action?"

It means objective or purpose.

Yes, Jesus certainly was the "end" (objective/purpose) of the Law for righteousness. He is the reason, and the goal, of us obeying the 10 Commandments. We are emulating His actions of obedience to the Father's Commandments.

Christians are followers of Christ.

Obedience to the 10 Commandments is how we follow Christ's ways of obeying the 10 Commandments.

We can't possibly keep from worshiping demonic idols and desperately desiring things other people have?

Jesus says if we're following the 10 Commandments, He will come to live within us.
John 14:21

His Spirit will guide us and teach us all things and He would certainly make us aware of any unknown sins.
1 Jn. 2:27

We confess and ask for help in repenting of any sins we stumble into.
James 3:2

idolatry, is putting other things before God, not worshiping a literal idol.

the Girl or God, because YOUR ACTIONS will tell on you.

Jesus is perfectly righteous.

He is my righteousness. His Spirit dwells within me and inspires and enables me to desire to strive to walk in His ways and obey the 10 Commandments - just as He did. (John 15:10)

Christian means follower of Christ.

I follow Christ in what He taught, what He did and what His followers did after His death. His followers knew Him, and what He expected of Christians, far better than any of us alive today.
Amen brother, I follow Christ teachings also;

Jhn 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
Jhn 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Jhn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Jhn 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Jhn 10:29 My Father, which gavethem me, is greater than all; and noman is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Jhn 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Jhn 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Jhn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Jhn 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Jhn 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Blessings.

No offense, but not everybody thinks or acts exactly like you do.

Just sayin.

If you truly love God, you will put Him first in all things.

Yes, we're still human and we still do stumble from time to time.

I can't remember who said it, or where I first heard it, but I'm often reminded of the point that we do our best, but our best varies from moment to moment and day to day.

If we're exhausted, or stressed or distracted or whatever else naturally happens to all of us at one time or another, our best may not be as great is it was yesterday. Strive to do your best in every situation and ask God to pick up where your strength leaves off.

He actually prefers we be weak so that His power can reign in our lives. His power is made perfect in our weakness.

do you ever drive and meet stupid drivers.
are you nice to them or mad?
where is God being FIRST at in that.

Sin is broad and you're narrowing it down to things you think you do not commit.
it's the things you do commit and don't realize it's a SIN that trips you up.

Great verse references.

I think if anybody really digs into the Bible, you develop a taste, a preference for the Truth it contains and you get closer and closer to God every day.

Amen and God bless!

I've stated repeatedly that we all stumble.

You continue to try and force the accusation upon me that I've claimed to be perfect or that we must keep the Commandments perfectly, etc.

I've addressed that multiple times.

I'm not perfect and we don't have to be.

But we do have to try. If we love God, it's not difficult at all to try.

We always desire to make those we love happy. Do we not?

Did Jesus teach His followers what He expected to happen after His death on the Cross?

Are you claiming He told His followers nothing about the Commandments ending at the Cross? That'd be a pretty huge oversight..
It was taught. How do you think the Church treated the Sabbath differently? Even Paul said it:

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Don't you think? The 10 Commandments are not laws of death and slavery and the Bible speaks of them positively in countless places, including Paul's references to them as being good and holy and the Psalms speaking positively of them over and over like in Psalm 119. The longest chapter in the Bible and it repeatedly speaks well of the decalogue over and over throughout

The law is spoken of negatively once it was replaced with a better law. Do you think these things about the law are positive?

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law- Galatians 3:13

the law entangles with the yoke of bondage- Galatians 5:1

if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law - Galatians 5:18

the strength of sin is the law- 1 Corinthians 15:56

the law worketh wrath- Romans 4:15

we are not under the law- Romans 6:15

ye also are become dead to the law - Romans 7:4

we are delivered from the law- Romans 7:6

we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter- Romans 7:6

Jesus made us free from the law of sin and death- Romans 8:2
