No, that's a fake news rumor started by the Baloney Boys who were just jerkin your chain.

Jesus said those that believe and get baptized will be saved and He was talking to those that wanted to be saved just like Peter was.
Unlike you I do not take what people say as truth, I test each spirit.

And I saw for myself that it is true..

Jesus said we must be born again, And he told us how to be born again, Look to the cross in faith. He who believes is not condemned he who does not believe is condemned already

Looks like comedy hour has begun ladies and gentlemen
Sadly, This is not a laughing matter. Our eternity depends on getting this right.

If you want to laugh at this, feel free.. I doubt you will be laughing in eternity.

Wow, I would hope people on this chat who identify themselves as Christians, would be considerate of others even if they don't agree. Please tell me why this is nonsense (using Scripture and not just your opinion or your church's teachings/traditions). Of course prior to Jesus' resurrection, all believers went to Paradise (or Hades as evidenced in Luke 16:19-31 with Abraham and Lazarus) also called Abraham's bosom to wait for Jesus to take them to Heaven after He died.
Was this directed to @Thunderrr-mental ?

Did you know that some of the old manuscripts do not contain Mark 16:9-20? By adding these verses, it conflicts with other verses where Jesus Himself explains how to be saved, such as John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." That's it. If baptism or speaking in tongues was also required to be saved, Jesus would have included this in many other such passages where He talks about salvation. The ONLY place in Scripture where Jesus is quoting that you also must be baptized to be saved, and you must speak in toungues is in Mark 16:9-20. As Chuck Missler used to always say, Scripture supports Scripture. I believe that God's Word is inerrant; however, the written Scriptures and their translations, both OT and NT, have been changed throughout the ages by man, and some are just errors, but some are on purpose to support a certain view or cause confusion. I believe that these verses in Mark were added to confuse the masses on how to be saved. It really is as simple as Jesus said, and as His disciples and Paul told us. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." Acts 16:31. It really is that simple. He made it simple on purpose. Once you get saved and receive the Holy Spirit, the Spirit will help you clean up your act and according to 1 John 1:9 if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins 1 John 1:9. And don't forget that Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works (such as Baptism), so that no one can boast." Thank you Jesus!

Did the thief on the cross bypass the grave.

And.once again you who lives by a very important set of a morals would question me, than someone who promotes a doctrine of being saved right at the point you draw your last breath.

Don't you get very defensive normally when people excuse sin.

Now to your question

Where is paradise, where do you think it is.

Well is it heaven.

Mathew
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Did the thief on the cross by pass the grave before the saints.

Another pressing very important pressing question

Where there's saints not raised to life in Christ.

The same way you are raised to life I'm water baptism.

Now do me a favour stop supporting your insulting friend @Everlasting-Grace , and support the word of God.

As you can see he is now pinging me,

As he can't take correction

And he wants to wind me up.

I have brushed my feet with him.

He uses his salvation and the way he believes he's been saved, to determine how other people are saved.

And you want to support that.

So if you want to support people who promote this behavior, then you sir should not be a Pastor.

Such people are stripped of there title and sent you into exile by God.

The will of God is to will people to believe.

Ye don't believe by your own will.

Ye would do well to remember that fact.

And the will is not complete in the the heart of any person until his heart is refined.

Which includes being resurrected in the risen Christ.

I am doing John in my current mens bible study/cell group. I was amazed when I was putting it together how many times Jesus gave the gospel.

1. John starts of in chapter 1 but as many as have recieved him, to THEM he gave the right to become children of God
2. John 3, become born again. By looking to the cross in faith
3. John 4, Ask, and he owuld give you living water flowing to eternal life
4. John 5 as you said, he who sees and believes.
5. John 6. the food which endures to eternal life. Eat and drunk, see and believe.

in non of these is any mention of water baptism included,, Because it is a command of true believers, not a command to earn your salvation. It is not required to be saved, period

You just got to love when someone does nothing but insult people with almost every post. Then try to say it is others who are insulting him.

The way you lot promote being baptised is not necessary, has got to be the most defiling mentality I have ever witnessed.

This is last time I provide any more useful insight on this thread.

You can all get on with it.

May the lord have mercy on your pitiful souls.

Unless you repent, and stop tryign to earn your salvation. I am not sure you will.

But to each his own.

The bible tells us to test each spirit. The mere fact you refuse should show us all where your heart is

I never thought I would see the day when I had to block threads about water baptism, especially in a place where Christians reside. 😔
