Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Does anyone understand the Jew is not necessarily of blood descent, rather also those grafted into the natural vine, those whose hearts are open to receive the grace that is a gift by the Blood of the Lamb of YHWH.......¿?

Yes, a gentile who is a Jew inwardly through being a Christian.... is much more of a Jew than someone who is a Jew of blood decent but is not Christian.

How could it be otherwise! Noah and Abraham were gentiles. Ruth, an ancestor of Christ was a gentile! God chose Abraham’s family to train men about His principles and because of that they are blessed. They were trained to lead us. Before Abraham, the world had gone away from our Creator; they had all made up gods to suit their own ideas.

All men are God’s creation; God’s plan for our world includes all men.

Scripture makes it clear that God is the One Supreme God, the creator of all men. All through the OT it repeats that his principles and instructions are for both the native and foreigner. Scripture repeats this in Romans when it explains that we are grafted in to the race God chose to be trained in his ways. The temple was destroyed very soon after Christ’s crucifixion, but Christ became the high priest and His blood replaced the blood of the OT.

Numbers 15:15 15 The assembly is to have the same statute for both you and the foreign resident as a permanent statute throughout your generations. You and the foreigner will be alike before the Lord.

I have always believed this scripture spoke to the removal of the fleshy heart in Jesus, and His presance given in His Spiritual heart set within us.

God bless

It has always been my understanding that those with hearts of stone would desire a heart of flesh, and that a heart of flesh is the truely desireable state to be in the presence of our Lord. These are merely descriptions of the state of being, but it could be important? Thank you.

Eze 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;

I think that pickles means a heart filled with fleshly desires....

Not to talk for anyone, but see there may of been a misunderstanding :)

Stony heart means a hardened heart, where ours is opened no longer hardened, through our Faith in Yahshua the Messiah it is no longer hard against the truth.

The hebrews,Jews had the initial covenant with God, but as throughout history they quickly turned from Gods expectations to their own interpretations etc,
when Jesus Christ came (to his own !!) they were so far from the truth they were blind to him and could not hear his words;(even though they used the terminology ie God,Jehovah etc, just like today; so the true covenant is by the blood of Jesus Christ (if you choose to do what he said mark 16-15 to 20, acts 2 .38)which blood is applied to the doorposts of the heart, circumcision of the heart (by the Holy Ghost) not of the flesh , so when the angle of death comes it will pass your house(temple which your body becomes when you recieve the Spirit)

Frankly, I know what Pickles is saying. The Biblical usage is only brought up to clarify that a fleshy heart in the Word is a reference to one that is not of stone. This usage is in several places in the Word, so I did not want folks thinking the Word is stating anything contrary when referring to the heart as such. It is brought up only in the spirit of edification.

JaumeJ, psychomom and loveme1... thankyou so much for your concern and words.
I knew what JaumeJ was saying, I knew he also understood my small gaff.
I am glad all was figured out though, as I was concerned this might become a misunderstanding.
Ladies you were right, I did mean a fleshy heart, but Jesus also has spoken to recieving an incorruptable heart made of His Spirit. :)
I m gonna have to find the scripture to be sure though.
I do look forward to that day in Jesus when my memory issues will be no longer an issue ! :D

God bless all of you for your love and care in Jesus. :)

Correct!....All Biblically Converted Christians are " Spiritual Jews" due to the Fact whereas Our " Circumcision" is of our hearts and Mind from Sin, not of part of our flesh.....
