Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Lots of people misunderstand 1 John.

It's an important distinction. Otherwise, whether someone sins or not would determine an individuals eternal estate. But the verse clearly teaches that it is a person's position in Christ and not sinless perfection that is the determining factor.

The problem is that you cannot stop sinning.

Sinless perfection is not the ball game in Christianity.

Jesus has gifted you to love others.

Jesus has not gifted you to be sin free.

Are your daily thoughts filled with the love of Jesus and the love you have for your enemies?

Your going to repent from sin and achieve sinless perfection.

Is your personal, sinless perfection, the destination of the Christian life?

Or is our destination in the Christian life, love from a pure heart.

1 Peter 4:8
Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

If sin is willful people hide it so they don’t receive rebuke or correction and can keep willfully doing it

When we pretend we aren’t sinning when we know we are that’s willful sin we’re trying to preserve the sin and be saved by serving it when we acknolwedge our sins and repent Jesus will not fail to do what he promised even if next week we find ourself in some sin , we arent lost we just have to acknolwedge it and repent and get back on track

a you can’t diminish the value of Christs blood either way by saying “ I can now sin all I want to and I’m saved “ or by saying “ now if I ever sin again I’m lost “

We have to go to Christs doctrine to belong to Christ it’s totally different than Moses law

What is Written to your heart if you are still doing sin that you haven't repented of? We all know what the main problem is ...porn. Are you excusing it?

JESUS Made It so we don't have to be literally crucified ...we get Spiritually Baptized now by Denying ourselves new sins ...aka Full Repentance. We still have to get Water Baptized at some point.

Porn is not the main problem.

I personally have no interest in pornography.

It seems you do protest too much about pornography.

I do know that pornography and gambling dominate the internet.

Amongst Christians, the primary sin would more than likely be, selfish lifestyles.
