2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

View attachment 187075

Rev 20:4-6, "And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to יהושע and because of the Word of the Mighty One, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years and the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended) – this is the first resurrection. Blessed and set-apart is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death possesses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."
Here is insight about the prophecy by Malachi about the Messiah being the "Sun of Righteousness"

Gebesis/Bereshith
1:16, "And Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, and the stars."
1:17, "And Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,"
1:18, "and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good."
1:19, "And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day."

Here we see in the 4th day YHWH “made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night

In the 4th day He created the sun, and we see this is a prophetic picture, as the Messiah was born at the beginning of the 4th millennium (the year 4,001 from creation)

Malachi 4:1-3, “For look, the day shall come, burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up,” said יהוה of hosts, “which leaves to them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My Name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and leap for joy like calves from the stall. And you shall trample the wrongdoers, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” said יהוה of hosts.”

Again as we see in Genesis 1:17-19 the sun was created in the 4th day of creation and “the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings” Indeed His did “arise” at the beginning of the 4th millennium, with “healing in His wings/tzitzit.”

Matthew 9:20-22, “And see, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the tzitzit of His garment. For she said to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I shall be healed.” But יהושע turned, and when He saw her He said, “Take courage, daughter, your belief has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that hour.”

Matthew 14:35-36, “And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding country, and brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him to let them only touch the tzitzit of His garment. And as many as touched it were completely healed.”

Would anyone agree or disagree with the principle that the Messiah is the one spoken of in Malachi 4:1-2 and that He indeed come in the 4th millennium?

So if the Messiah came in the “4th day” (millennium) as the suffering Lamb of YHWH and is to return as the conquering Lion, could this be a prophecy about His return?

Hosheyah 6:1-3, “Come, and let us turn back to יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him. So let us know, let us pursue to know יהוה. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.”

So again the Messiah came at the year 4,001 from creation and “After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him,” the resurrection would be, according to this some time in the 6th day/millennium, 4+2=6: “After two days He shall revive us” and “on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him” 4+3=7. Note “so that we live before Him” SO clearly this is talking about the resurrection and being with Him, and if we add it up it is in the 7th millennium or Sabbath millennium.

Hebrews chapter 4 is telling the Believer that we must enter into God's rest which is called SANCTIFYING PEACE. Failure to do so, the Believer will die (spiritual) in the wilderness. Most do!

There are two kinds of peace with God the Father:

1. Justifying Peace - This is Peace with God, a legal standing (Rom. 5:1, 8:7; Eph. 2:14-15).
2. Sanctifying Peace - This is the Peace of God in the heart (Rom. 8:6, 14:19, 15:13; Gal. 1:3; 1 Thess. 5:23).

The first is the result of a legal standing. The second is the result of the Work of the Holy Spirit. The first is static, never fluctuates, the second changes almost from hour to hour. The first, every Christian has, the second, every Christian may have.

Sanctifying peace allows the Holy Spirit to deliver the Believer into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, so that the life of Christ is manifested and lived through the Believer by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is a living sacrifice that is pleasing and acceptable to God (John 14:21, Rom. 8:2, 13; 2 Cor. 4:11; Gal. 2:20-21).

The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14). "In Justification, the Lord fights 'for' us, and in Sanctification, He fights 'in' us."

SANCTIFYING PEACE = The LORD's REST / ONLY A FEW FIND IT (Matthew 7:13-14)

Question for all? How do we enter into His rest?
The Believer enters into God's rest by placing and maintaining their Faith exclusively (trusting) in Christ and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won. There are some Believers who the LORD will allow a premature death come upon of whom the world is not worthy of (Isa. 57:1-2; Hebrews 11:38).

How do you view this passage:

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

Spiritual "labors" and rest (find rest in salvation Christ Jesus) and "works do follow them" means even though saved we'll still be held accountable..

I agree, and that has been the entire point of this thread, that the rest is SALVATION not worldly comfort. The one point I assuse I differ with others on this is that the rest begins when we enter the kingdom as it says "Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest"

Matthew 10:34-35,“Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword, for I have come to bring division, a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."

but in the Kingdom:

Isaiah 11:1-9,1 And a Rod shall come forth from the stump of Yishai, and a Sprout from his roots shall be fruitful."2 The Spirit of יהוה shall rest upon Him – the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of יהוה,"3 and shall make Him breathe in the fear of יהוה. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears."4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth, and shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips."5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and trustworthiness the girdle of His waist."6 And a wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and a leopard lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child leads them."7 And cow and bear shall feed, their young ones lie down together, and a lion eat straw like an ox."8 And the nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the adder’s den."9 They do no evil nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of יהוה as the waters cover the sea."

I think this passage is well deserved!:

Psalms 133:1-3, “See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers (siblings in Messiah) to dwell together in unity. Like the precious oil on the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aharon, Running down on the collar of his robes. Like the dew of Ḥermon, That comes down on the mountains of Tsiyon. For there יהוה commanded the blessing, Life forever!

Hi brother, long time no talk to. Glad you're still passionate about Scripture my friend. Sabbath was made for us, and I want every good gift from our Father. Being raised Baptist, it was later in my life I realized this, so I can see how some read Hebrews with blinders on. It clearly says there remains a Sabbath rest.

This passage right here (below) should make us all stop in our tracks, yes?

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

I read a surgeon's opinion on this a long time ago, can't forget it. He said, dividing joints and marrow was humanly impossible. Wow, chew on that. Kinda helps get things in perspective, I mean, how awesome is our Creator, and how reverent we all should be toward His Word.

praiseYah! may His blessings be upon you! His people are so special! praiseYah! good to hear from you! Well seems Dan 7:25 is strong, but no matter what Yah guides His may we all hear His guidance and follow it. You know the words of Messiah really cut to my heart on many occasions and made me rethink everything I had been told. One Shepherd. I Him and His word is trustworthy!!!

One day is as a thousand years . Not one is a thousand years. The word as denotes a parable is in view . The word thousand is used to represent a unknow throughout the Bible we have many examples Parables hide the spiritual meaning from the lost revealing it to those who have ben born again. Without parables Christ spoke not

Had to look that up (Dan) but yeah, and it will get even stronger. Remember tho, greater are they that are with us...you know the rest.

Remember that guy that was here a long time ago, kept posting parallel translations? Gosh, wish I could remember his name. Anyway, it finally sunk in for me. It's a great way to learn comparing, and even see what the enemy is trying to hide, by what gets omitted/ changed.

Yes, I know what you mean by being cut to the heart by Messiah's Words. You know all pure scripture is His Words, but for me, the Words in red are plain/hard to be twisted, ya know? Praise Yah!

True, and honestly that gives me great comfort, we are told things willget worse, but in the end Yah will reign.

Psalms 2:1-12, "2:1, "Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate emptiness? (Mat 4:25-26. See also Dan 2:44, Dan 7:13-28, Hag 2:22, Zec 14:9 and Rev 11:15) The sovereigns of the earth take their stand, And the rulers take counsel together, Against יהוה and against His Messiah, and say, Let us tear apart Their bonds, And throw away Their ropes from us.”"2:4, " He who is sitting in the heavens laughs, יהוה mocks at them. Then He speaks to them in His wrath, And troubles them in His rage, saying,"2:6, "“ But I, I have set My Sovereign on Tsiyon, My set-apart mountain. I inscribe for a law: יהוה has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have brought You forth. Ask of Me, and I make the nations Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth Your possession. Break them with a rod of iron, Dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel. And now, be wise, O sovereigns; Be instructed, you rulers of the earth. Serve יהוה with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest He be enraged, And you perish in the way, For soon His wrath is to be kindled. Blessed are all those taking refuge in Him.”

That Psalm is like music to the ears of His people and high noon to a vampire! :):):)

Im not sure who that was? IDK... But I know what you mean, I actually have been studying Hebrew Mat and original language a bit latley, mostly in key places that I take for granted but just to be diligent and KNOW.

I really do love the straight forward words of Yahshua, the Shepherd leads the flock in clarity, may none stand in between the SHepherd and His sheep!

I love Hebrew Matthew! It proves Yashua is legal heir to the throne! It makes clear we are not to obey the Pharisees, rather we are to obey Moses. (23:2-3) Of course I know the priesthood is changed, no longer blood sacrifices! Hope I didn't open a can of worms there....but seriously, the version I grew up with would have meant we all must be practicing Judaism. Looks like the Greek crowd would welcome the Hebrew Matt. but oh well, another story alas. nevermind.:)

It would seem you have been taking it for granted that a thousand years is one day and not as one day . The word thousand is used in parables to represent a unknown as to whatever is in view throughout the Bible . In Revelation 20 the phrase "thousand years" in that parable is used 6 times represents a unknow amount of time .
