His Commandments are about Loving God and Loving your neighbor.
Breaking the commandments is hating your neighbor and hating God.
21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that
whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says,
‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:21-22
- This is what Jesus taught: The doctrine of Christ.
- Everything that Jesus taught is about Love.
- Loving God, and Loving our neighbor.
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9

Whoever
hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15
If we don't love our brother, then we hate. Those who hate are as murderers.
27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old,
‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that
whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Matthew 5:27-30
If we are lusting after our neighbors wife, then that is not loving our brother, that is hating our brother.
- Committing adultery with our brother's wife is hating our brother.

Christ taught us to love God and love our brother.
- If we disregard, ignore, disobey this teaching, this doctrine of loving God and loving our brother, whereby we transgress it and instead we hate of brother, then we are not abiding in Christ, nor are we abiding in His doctrine.
Now he who
keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24
If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6
The way we love God and love our brother, is to obey His doctrine, Obey His commandments.
If someone says,
“I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
1 John 4:20
