Thank-you for the welcome, I am excited to be here, I love talking about GOD, Jesus the Christ and scripture. Unfortunately when I get excited I make typos lol. So for clarity you've chosen this scripture which clearly states Paul is using only the TaNaK specifically only the Torah (books of Moses) and Nevi'im (the prophets). Please I want no misunderstandings, I believe as I have been shown through the Holy Spirit of GOD that the New Testament is an account of the life and death of mankinds Savior Jesus of Nazareth whom is the Christ. I'm more searching for how others feel about the scriptures on a whole basis such as how many members on this sight feel the Jewish Holy scriptures are from GOD or do most members believe that when the Church compiled the 66 canonical books of the Christian bible anything they deemed non-canonical was now no longer scripture inspired by GOD. and to a softer degree does anyone feel that GOD's plan to make Ishmael a great nation gives any validity to the Quran.
Great! I hope you find many friends here who share your love of scripture and our Messiah and(for clarity) Father God of Abraham Issac and Jacob. It's my favorite subject, altho I do confess I know very little. The more I learn the more I realize I don't know.

I do believe there are books that are missing in what we call the King James Bible. For example, Jasher and Enoch are mentioned, but what happened to these books? Which ones of these 2 out there are authentic? Maccabees, shouldn't that belong? But for the Quran? I do not think it trustworthy, but the Almighty has allowed it and I'm sure it has a purpose in the scheme of things. Almighty is always involved in creation and not even a sparrow falls to the ground without His permission.

Scripture says: And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

I surely don't have this all figure out and would venture to say, no one has....yet. I could be wrong, but there are so many versions out there, who knows? Only God knows.
