I have been using the NEW King James Version almost exclusively in my teaching since 1986.

I read from several others, but primarily add the ASV, KJV, NASB, ESV, RSV, and NIV to my study.

Usually NKJV. I feel that the NIV tries to modernize things too much when it would be better off just using footnotes.

KJV is my fave to read and I also have and use the NKJV, NASB and the paraphrase Clear Word. Also thought to mention that esword has a free Bible program for download ,,, many many Bible versions, commentaries and dictionaries.

NOTE: The ESV is a conservative update of the RSV. It is very different from the NRSV.
