Christ does not speak idle words.
Yes.

There is no guile in the Lord. He is not given to theatrics.
And yet people will claim that when Jesus told us to fear the One Who could destroy both
body and soul in hell, many will say, oh, well, He did not say He would, just that He could.

"In That Day, I Will Pour Out My Spirit Upon All Flesh". Pretty Clear to me. What I noticed when I read the Bible is that God uses anyone He Wants, when He wants, the way He wants. Not my Business.
God is not the Author of Confusion.
"All flesh" doesn't mean every, single, person, etc. The text is written to Jews. All flesh infers not just the Jews but also the Gentiles which happened as recorded in Acts 10 with the conversion of Cornelius in Caesarea.

Standard Cessationist's rhetoric.
yeah or just accepting what the Bible says instead of stating what I think and rejecting it and creating a label because it’s so clear with just the scripture

i mean it does say “ they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak as the spirit led then “

But maybe there’s some other thing that’s not in scripture we should believe that’s just not what I would ever do every time man does that they end up crushed

Read my above post #31 which addresses this John 20:22 scripture
All you'e done is parrot the standard cessationist spin, without paying any attention to what JESUS SAID about Acts 2:4

I've parroted the bible. You're not rejecting my words but the clear words of scripture. Goodbye

Why do you say they were “ indwelled “ with the spirit in John 20:22? Nothing in scripture says that.

“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬
You've just answered your own question. What God BREATHES on a person, there's an impartation.

it clearly says it in acts 2 when they receive the holy ghost and we’re filled with it
is being “ indwelled “ wich it doesn’t say , different form being filled with ?
‬‬
Yup being indwelled (John 20;22) is the Holy Spirit IN a person - fuzing Himself with their own spirit.

However Jesus said: ENDUED with power from on high, which is an external clothing with the Holy Spirit (as in the OLD Testament). "Filled with" = fully motivated by the Holy Spirit.
