Well if you never noticed then now go to Matthew 4 and watch a rerun
same deal with Jesus as eve goes on.
Again, Abiding, I must say I never made that connection either in Mathew 4. It would seem these (eyes, flesh, mind) are the three (main?) methods of temptation? What do you think?

Yup!

John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

some other day ill show you how Christ reversed it by hanging a tree man planted
in a garden in the midst of that garden and was a fruit man was commanded this time
to eat........to go from death to life.

OK but not exactly the devil has been totally conquered. But has a purpose still.
His kingdom started when He sat on Davids eternal throne. Peter preached that on Pentecost
Acts 2. And Look:

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” ( Revelations 1:18 )
Yes, he has the keys of hell and of death. . .and he will use those keys to throw death and Hades into the lake of fire.
Now your right in quoting from 1 Cor 15. Death and sin still exists till His return. Right?
But read again...He doest come to earth to set up a kingdom...it says He takes it(the present kingdom) up to the Father.
So........with no more death....and no more enemies. Rev20 cant be talking future because
in it you see both death and enemies. right?

Also death was not the devils deal...it was Gods judgement on sin.
I'm not understanding "but read again. . .he does come to earth to set up a kingdom but he takes it up to the Father."? What verses? Forgive my sluggish mind! But in Revelation 20 I see the END of death and enemies. . . .

Exactly rev 20 has death and enemies but 1 cor 15 says He comes back "after" enemies and death are under His feet. Right?
And notice:
[SUP]20 [/SUP]But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.[SUP]21 [/SUP]For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. [SUP]22 [/SUP]For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. [SUP]23 [/SUP]But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Then comes [the end], when He shall deliver UP the kingdom to God, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. [SUP]25 [/SUP]For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. [SUP]26 [/SUP]The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. [SUP]27 [/SUP]For “He has put all things under His feet.”[SUP][a][/SUP] But when He says “all things are put under Him,it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Matthew 13
The Parable of the Weeds

24He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weedsc among the wheat and went away. 26So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27And the servantsd of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

Okay. . . .

This is my understanding: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are in Christ AT HIS COMING. . . His second coming (I didn't miss it did I?)

THEN, THEN comes the end - telos - the END. All enemies are not put under his feet YET because the last enemy death is still around.

It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come about which we are speaking. You have made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet. In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.

Ok my point is then He has everything subject to Him at the present time
yet in the age it still has its purpose and is present. Although under His authority
they still exist.

Before the end. before His return they will all be destroyed.
Not a 1000 years later. After He returns.

Okay. . .if I understand correctly. . .you believe everything is already accomplished whereas I believe a lot of these things occur at his second coming during the tribulation period and the END.

Okay, pretty interesting. Thanks for being respectful.

but what about right now?

Daniel 7:14
He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Matthew 28
16Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inb the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

John 5:34
"Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

John 3:18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 6:47
Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.

1 John 5
Overcoming the World

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. 2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Testimony Concerning the Son of God
6This is he who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7For there are three that testify: 8the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree. 9If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. 10Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. 11And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

John 3:7
Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

John 3:6
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

John 3:8
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years [<symbolic number].

John 3:7
Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ ^ this is that

Revelation 1:6
and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father--to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

Oh, okay. . .all things are put under his subjection NOW whereas I believe all things will be put under his subjection after the events that occur when he returns.

Let me ask: Do you think that 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 corresponds with 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18?

But 1 cor 15 doest say that does it? Men do but the Apostle didnt.
Wonder who is right Paul said before "the end" before He comes back
these things will occur.

Actually His return itself takes care of alot of it. Thats explained elsewhere

I understand and do look forward to the new heavens and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. . . I surely don't look more forward (I know. . . that's not correct English!!!) to the events leading up to the new heavens and the new earth nor does that negate the fact that those events will occur.
