Do we know that he HAS a physical being?[/QUO
Our souls again are the essence. An easy way to see that for yourself is a "dream". Every dream you have you know you are there and you "see" other people, but the image (the physical body) is not strong, but the essence is very much real. That is a taste of what the soul really is. The Soul like G-d has "no physical limits", such as time, matter, physicality, etc. Hence why in dreams you can jump from place to place.
Now when Jesus returns the 2nd time, just like Elijah did as John, the soul enters a "body" a "guf" (In Hebrew) to be able to exist in this physical world. I think whoever said "suit" is correct. The body is just a "suit" or "clothes" one MUST wear to be in this physical world. Why do you think demons desire the body of someone so much? They are so limited but when they get a body....oh they can make a big mess. So yes, Jesus is a soul and we do not know what he looks like or what he will look like when he returns..."but his sheep know him" (regardless).
