Roxana, I pray that you will find the answers to your questions, and I believe that it would be wise if you read the bible for that specifically and prayed about it, too.
Unfortunately I need to write an analysis for my English class now, so I can´t keep answering. However, it was very interesting to think about your questions, and challenging as well. God bless you!

Awww that is super cool of you! That is also very nice of you to hold back from commercial gain! Yofi!! (Beautiful)! How long have you been doing this? Plus I went on a sight called LoveMagenta but I am not sure if that's you LOL. You also seem well versed in the bible. Do you study a lot or did you go to Seminary?
I am not aware of a site called LoveMagenta :giggle: There was a time when I wondered if I should study theology formally, but no, I never have... I did, however, learn a great deal over the course of eight years of talking online almost exclusively with non-believers of various stripes on two different sites before becoming a member here just over 5 years ago. And of course I have read quite a bit of the Bible ;) God has richly blessed me! And He was very patient and long-suffering toward me, for I was quite rebellious and did not accept Him as Lord until I was in my 50th year :geek: I often say I am grateful that God was gracious enough to allow me to survive the stupidity of my youth :D

Praise the Lord! That is a cool story!
I often find that explaining things to others really makes one think about things more deeply, and that really is a way in which i also have learned more about scripture.
Do you have a bit of advice for me as am "in the stupidity of my youth";)? I would really appreciate it.
God bless

Hahaha yeah there is LOL! I guess it is not you then. Yes, being challenged with questions and non believers will help sharpen your beliefs as well, even if they push you over the edge sometimes. I am very happy to hear that G-d has blessed you and has been patient with you. G-d loves those he chastises. Only a loving parent rebukes their kids. Praise G-d for your acceptance! You are wise! Keep learning, keep growing. There is so much of the bible to learn and to piece everything together is so wonderful and it will draw you closer to Him :)

People get stuck on the physical...because its what the eyes can see and the "flesh" can relate too. That is a big limitation for some and hence they cannot "see" the real meaning. Best to pray for them :)
Jesus IS physical by definition. He is the inCARNation of God. Fully human, fully divine. Humans do not exist without bodies. Jesus does not exist without a body. Jesus is simply the name used to identify the body in which God inhabited.

The stupidity of my youth, well, of course the main foolishness on my part was rejecting God, even though I knew there was some Spiritual reality beyond what we can see with our physical eyes... I just did not know what it was, and it did become a rather major thing for me, for many years prior to my conversion, being a seeker and exploring various Spiritual pursuits in search of truth, which I found to be embodied in Jesus Christ, for He is the Truth. My stupidity as I call it also included being an alcoholic and drug addict for 24 years, so if you are avoiding those pitfalls, you are doing quite well. Praise the Lord, it was when I cried out for help to the God I did not even believe in, that I was delivered from those snares, and the funny thing is? I was not even asking for help with my drug and alcohol addictions! But after crying out to God for help, I lost the desire to use, and that is when my seeking really become much more focused, for God is central to the 12 step program, though many are unaware of this. Our sanctification following justification is an ongoing, life-long process. If you are learning more and more to trust the Lord and lay all your cares on Him, I would not call you foolish at all, regardless of your age :)

Matthew 11:28-30:)

If you study and think about your point, you will see many questions and problems arise. Again...even our own essence is NOT a body. The body is a tool used in the physical world. Hence why thoughts are so powerful and we are judged even heavier on thoughts, let alone to suppress G-d Almighty into a physical, limited body which would completely destroy the meaning of G-d. G-d is Unlimited, No One Can See Him and Leave...He Has No Bounds, No Time, No Nothing...but only limited minds, want to limit the unlimited!

Thanks!
Again: your story is very powerful. God is so good and it is such a cool testimony to bring others, myself included, closer to God

You are a sweetheart :) Thank you for your very kind words! May God continually to richly bless you as well. Yes, the Bible can be amazingly complex yet simple at the same time. I tend to keep it on the simple side even as I am impressed by the richness and complexity of some people's depth of understanding and their ability to articulate such :)

I was trying to say that he does not have two souls. Apparently I got the meaning of essence wrong there.
Jesus has no soul. Jesus is the human vessel of God. Whilst a physical body, he suffers pains and temptations, yet being owned by God, is without sin.

interesting. Any scripture to prove he has no soul? Doesn´t every human have a soul?

Thank you, DorotheaSofia, I am grateful to you and @Happy2020 for the opportunity to share and testify of God's goodness, graciousness, long-suffering and patience toward me, for it means more to me than anything else to know the love of God, and experience His forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

I can't be called upon to prove a negative. It's like me asking you if there's any scripture to prove Jesus isn't gay.

Great point. Since Jesus is fully human, he must have a soul. The question is, where does his soul reside, since his body is occupied by God?
