nope ... justification by faith is what God tells us in Scripture (notwithstanding your incessant attempts to align Scripture with your erroneous dogma).

Romans 1:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it [the gospel of Christ] is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

vs 16-17 – believe the gospel ... result is salvation ... the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith because the justified one lives (and continues to live) by faith.

Romans 1:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katechō = suppress, restrain] the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

vss 18-19 – suppress the truth in unrighteousness ... result is wrath of God because God revealed truth and the person rejected God.
.
Again Justification by Faith is no more than a spiritual testification of having been Justified by Christ, by His Blood Rom 5:8-9

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Justification solely by the death of Christ !

That those Christ died for are Justified solely upon Christ's Act alone, apart from any of their own, is taught in Rom 5:18b

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Notice the antithesis of Rom 5:18a which is stated thusly:

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation;

This plainly tells us, that Judgment to condemnation landed upon all men solely by the offence of One, that one being Adam.

The words came upon means resulted in , the sole act of Adam, resulted in all men [in him] Judgment to condemnation, they did nothing personally in themselves for the condemnation, in fact they had not even personal existed !

So, the same is even so in the antithesis, by the Righteousness of One, Meaning His[Christs] Active and Passive Obedience, as a Free Gift, Justification of Life came upon all men [in Him] and again the words came upon means resulted in, the sole Act of Christ resulted in all men [In Him] Justification of Life, they did personally nothing of themselves for this Free Gift, in fact they had not even personally existed.

Notice its called a Free Gift !! Thats because it " Justification of Life" was freely charged to their account in Heaven, freely imputed to their account in the record law books of Gods Law and Justice.

Its not a free gift in the corrupt sense that the false teachers make it, that its offered to you as a gift and now its up to you to receive it, that is a lie, for it was no more an offering for one to accept or reject as it was a offer you could accept or reject when , because of Adams One Act, it resulted in Judgment unto condemnation !

So Rom 5:18b validates that those Christ lived and died for, it resulted in their Justification apart from any thing they did, even apart from their believing ! 17

And by him all that believe are justified from all things

Acts 13:38-39

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

What does this mean ? "all that believe are justified from all things" ? Now I already know that false teachers oft times use this scripture to refer to believing being a condition one must do in order to get Justified before God, but that is a false teaching. What this scripture does say and mean is that those who believe have been Justified from all things, in other words their believing is the evidence that they have already been Justified by the blood of Christ, they already have the forgiveness of sins Vs 38.

Now the Justification of them and their forgiveness of sins preceded their believing, as it is written, that the Just/Justified shall live by Faith Rom 1:17

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This is a Promise, a certainty that the Just SHALL live by Faith ! Now who all is Just or who are the Just ? Why its everyone Christ died for, everyone of the many by whom His One Obedience made them Righteous Rom 5:19b

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

The obedience here is the death of Christ as in His Obedience unto death of the Cross Phil 2:8 and by it many shall be made righteous, which is the greek word dikaios for Just in Rom 1:17, so hence, all whom by the Obedience of one were made just or righteous, the promise is that they shall live by Faith or believe !

The shall live by Faith is in the future tense, which means all whom Christ died for shall sometime in the future believe or live by Faith.

So it is with these being preached to in Acts 13:39 them who were believing gave evidence that they had by the obedience of Christ been made Just or righteous, which obedience was in the past, and so their Justification preceded their believing and was why they believed !

The words "all men" are translated from the Greek words pantas anthrōpos ... meaning "all men" ... all descendants of Adam.

There is no [in him] or [in Him] in the verse. Those are your additions to Scripture due to your rejection of Scripture. Your rejection of Scripture results in your inability to read Scripture just as written.

God tells us even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Those are God's Words. Your addition to Scripture shows that you reject what God has written.

interesting ... here is what your beloved Calvin says:

He makes this favor common to all, because it is propounded to all, and not because it is in reality extended to all; for though Christ suffered for the sins of the whole world, and is offered through God’s benignity indiscriminately to all, yet all do not receive him.
~ COMMENTARIES ON THE EPISTLE OF PAUL THE APOSTLE TO THE ROMANS by John Calvin
From Barnes' Notes on the Bible:
As the sin of Adam was of such a nature in the relation in which he stood as to affect all the race, so the work of Christ in the relation in which he stood was adapted also to all the race. As the tendency of the one was to involve the race in condemnation, so the tendency of the other was to restore them to acceptance with God. There was an original applicability in the work of Christ to all people - a richness, a fulness of the atonement suited to meet the sins of the entire world, and restore the race to favor.
...
It does not prove that all will in fact be saved, but that the plan is suited to meet all the evils of the fall.

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Again, those who have been Justified by what Christ did, they are given to believe. In fact, believing is the result of the Sanctifying Work of the Spirit 2 Thess 2:13

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth

So whenever we read of someone believing in Christ or believing the Gospel, it presupposes the Sanctifying work of the Spirit which causes it.

Justification of life is Salvation
no it's not.

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

The word "justification" is translated from the Greek word dikaíōsis which means "to approve, justify"; justification emphasizes Christ's full payment of death for sin which liberates the believer from all divine condemnation. The word dikaíōsis is used only in Ro 4:25 and Ro 5:18. It focuses on the acquitted penalty by receiving Christ – i.e. as a person is moved from eternal "condemned" to "divinely pardoned" at conversion.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The word "salvation" is translated from the Greek word sōtēría which means "to save, rescue"; i.e. God delivers believers out of destruction and into His safety.

Justification is an aspect of salvation ... but that does not turn "justification" into "salvation".

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Rom 5:18 teaches Justification before Faith, by the obedience of one Rom 5:19 says it also

Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe [verb, present tense] are justified [verb, present tense] from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

got it ... you still have no answer for the fact that the words "are justified" are in the present tense and that in order for your rendering to be correct, the verb would not be in the present tense so you just ignore the facts and press on in your complete and utter manipulation of Scripture. :sneaky::sneaky:

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive

Believing is the evidence one is Justified and regenerated.

since you won't believe God in His writing of Scripture, maybe you'll believe your beloved Calvin:

He makes this favor common to all, because it is propounded to all, and not because it is in reality extended to all; for though Christ suffered for the sins of the whole world, and is offered through God’s benignity indiscriminately to all, yet all do not receive him.
~ COMMENTARIES ON THE EPISTLE OF PAUL THE APOSTLE TO THE ROMANS by John Calvin

That is what Calvin wrote concerning Romans 5:18.

 ... I see you're still manipulating the text ...

Rom 5:18 shows that all Christ died for are Justified by His Blood alone.

Romans 5:18 means:

for by the obedience of one man the free gift has come upon all men [that is, the elect of all nations] unto justification of life.

Writer Wilson Thompson in his article on Justification writes:

Justification by faith is taught in opposition to the notion of justification by works, not because our faith as an act of ours justifies us, but because faith receives or views our justification complete in Christ without our works; and so the apostle argues in Acts 13:39, “By him [Christ] all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” By Christ alone are we justified, and faith is the Spirit’s evidence to the soul of his interest in this grace; and it is said, Rom.4:3, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.” Gal.3:6, James 2:23, Rom.4:5,6,7,8, all of which prove that it was the substance or object of faith that justified Abraham, and not barely the act of Abraham’s faith, for the fact which he believed was not dependant on an act of his faith; but his faith believed the fact, and received such evidence of its truth, as to fill Abraham with an unshaken confidence in God, that what he had promised he was able to perform; and so he gave glory to God. The same thing is declared, Rom.4:25, and chapter 5:1, where Christ is spoken of as he “who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” This verse ends the fourth chapter, and shows that Christ being delivered for our offences, had made full satisfaction for us, and so was raised again for our justification, and so justification is complete; then in the 5th chapter, 1st verse, he infers from this fact, that we may have peace, even the peace which a knowledge of our free justification will afford, by believing in the fact above settled, and says, “Therefore being justified, by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” I have changed the comma in the last quotation, because the sense of the passage required it, and some other versions place it as I have, but whether it be changed or not, the meaning is the same,
