Naturally, Revelation is an heavenly revelation John received via the Holy Spirit. It's complex and written in the apocalyptic, symbolic manner of the times but every word in there is God's Truth. There is a real Satan. He's doing a good job of making you not believe he exists. Instead, turn to Christ, and read the Bible with the Holy Spirit's help. If Satan was just man's evils, why would the Bible indicate that temptation to sin springs from the flesh (our own), the world (people/society) and Satan? Clearly, we are two fight against spiritual darkness from three different avenues.

The above scripture is not about an evil invisible Satan. It’s about a man..the king of Babylon is said to have fallen from his position as a powerful world leader. The word Lucifer is a Latin translation of the Hebrew word “helel” which means the morning star or the bright morning star. In biblically history,” the bright and morning star” was a title for a great and mighty ruler or human king. Falling from heaven is a figure of speech meaning they have fallen from their position of authority as king or leadership. Lucifer in isa 14 is referring to a human king that has lost his position as a ruler due to pride in his heart.
It's about both, comparing the fall of the King of Tyre to the fall of Satan from Heaven.

Satan was never good to fall from heaven to begin with. He was a murderer and a liar FROM THE BEGINNING of his existence.

Satan means adversary and there are many of them. that's why its plural in many verses in the bible. Satan is man and he is very VISIBLE. The word satan Is a word used to describe man. The bible states man is enmity against God.... We are his enemies.

So where do the possessed people come from? What do you make of them? Do you even believe there's a spiritual realm? Spiritual warfare?

does anyone know how I can prevent this site from running my words together. I do not do that. It gets that way when I post it. It is not that way before I post it.
When you post, always click on go to advanced. From there you can "preview post". That will make the words run together. When you scroll down to the lower copy of your post you will be able to insert the spaces that the preview brought about.

That is so cool!!!

So it was a man that took Jesus to the top of a mountain and promised to give him all the kingdoms of the world?
Wow... that was one powerful man... like Captain Marvel or something.

Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Yes, the solution is to write your own content, not copy everything from other people's work.

Christ said there was demon possession, and most of today's Christians poo poo that. There is good reason to doubt, because many things were blamed on demon possession that were not so, so the church said there really wasn't such a thing. I am sure that many of you say there is absolutely no good information that can come from the Catholic Church, but just as there is good and bad in everyone, there is good in the Catholic Church. One thing is their work on demon possession. Many devout Christians have found they need to work with this, as well as the Catholic Church. Now, even the Catholic Church shies away from handling this.

Because the media pollutes our world with things that opens up people to possession, and our churches are saying it is not Christian to hold a solid line against sin, there is a huge increase in possession among people.

By reading what people who work with people who have been possessed, we can find out a lot about what Satan is all about. They say that demons are real, they need to live within people. They are spirit, have no body, and have definite characteristics. They say that it is only Christ who has authority over them. They say that it is only through people accepting sin in their lives as part of them that a demon can influence mortals.

I find scripture to back these findings up, but I don't find scripture that disproves it.

When Jesus was tempted I dont think he was talking to an invisible man. If man did such a thing he would be considered crazy.

We're not angry, at least I'm not. Just frustrated that people try to justify their own beliefs by something other than the Word of God.

Satan is a spiritual being without a body. You are a human being with a body. Satan is not a man. Satan was an angel, angels are not man.

Satan is a Archangel who God created, and he was a protecting cherub that protected the mercy seat ( Ezekiel 28 ).. He is supernatural, just hes more natural. he was created perfect as it says there. Until he sinned and the nature of that sin is recorded alll throughout the Bible, why haven't you read it yet texascowgirl ?
?

This is what your reading when you read all these incidents and your not even looking at what is happening with any attention to the details .

James 1:13-14

King James Version (KJV)

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

This is often the case when you take the time to read all your verses you posted with some understanding of who is talking why , where when, you have to answer all these questions .

God created Satan . he was good until he sinned ( Eze. 28 )

All other time you read of God sending Satan , its to the evil people that rather sin then listen to God.

One, time you read for a example to us living today with Job.

You have to understand where Satan is. That is why it reads also, or Appears that God sent, because that is where he is ( Rev 12:7-9 )

Lucifer was made the brightest of the angels, the most powerful being outside of God Himself. Lucifer is sometimes recognized as the greatest of the cherubim (because the Cherubim defend the throne of God). He was the archangel, the head of the heavenly host. As with all angels, Lucifer had a specific purpose when he was created. He was HaSatan, in Hebrew, or the Adversary. This originally meant that Satan was in essence, the prosecutor of Heaven. However, out of pride, Lucifer defied God, proclaimed Himself to be better and tried for the Throne. He was cast out of Heaven. He has taken the name Satan, his title, to be interchangeable with his name, "The Bringer of Light."

He is a dark and loathsome creature now, who attacks the CHurch and mankind, hoping to take us with him into the Lake of Fire. I have no doubt that Satan now realizes he will lose, and with all evil maniacal beings, he has changed his plan. At first it was to win, and now it is to make God suffer as much as he can. Scripture tells us that God wills that none of us would perish, but we defy God. Behind this is Satan, he saw that God loved us, and through that love inflicts pain. He is not to be pitied, admired, or liked, nor is he to be hated. He is loathsome and deserves nothing but our refusal to serve him. We serve the Most High God, and Satan is the Enemy. Satan rules over the demons, and claims this world as his own. Here alone Satan has a legitimate argument. Because man refuses to acknowledge God, and have allowed Satan dominion over the world that was given to us, Satan can claim that we have given him dominion, and this is the very argument he makes before the Throne. I'm even sure that this is why God will give him his season.

So then... that was... Satan?
IF you KNEW you had absolute power in your hands, what thoughts would run through your head? Jesus was starving. He looked at some rocks and a voice came to Him to turn them into bread. It is the weakness of the flesh that Jesus had to overcome.
