For sure faith alone, nobody's faith, will save you. It's only one element of salvation.
And for sure as well, the scriptures and only the scriptures must be followed. The truth can be found there without relying on supplemental documents.
What can be gleaned and which is the most important truth is that of salvation. Everything else is secondary, but saving of the soul is of the utmost importance; and God made that easy to understand, however, it's man that has made salvation confusing. Most religious bodies have allowed their own ideas and preconceived notions to cloud their understanding of it's simplicity as God intended it to be.
Belief and faith, confession of belief, repentance, and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins is all anyone needs to know.
