So we can interpret it.
If it were closed to interpretation, we wouldn't be able to interpret it.

No man, not even the strongest of disciples of Jesus Christ is prmitted to seize truth and understanding

All receive truth and understanding in God0s time, so we who believe sstudy and wait for understanding. This is interpreting the Word of God.

Perhaps it’s not. The problem isn’t the ambiguity of prophecy as much as the certainty of fools and those who follow them. Instead of being students, or investigators gathering clues and solving mysteries, we are echos of forefathers, passing on tradition and supposition. The roots of the church were fertilized with blood. Maybe the meaning was obvious in the beginning but now hidden. I think I have most of it figured out...but so does everyone else.

So that one would need the leading of His Holy Spirit to understand it.. When the time comes when it is needed to be understood..

If you want your Saints to understand something but you want it kept hidden from the anti-christs you write it the way it was written..

I don't see the bible as open to interpretation, the bible explains itself in most instances (like parables) and we have history to explain the rest. (like fulfilled prophecy) Most of it is plain talk to plain people as long as you don't try to come into the middle of a conversation.

It is not to be interpreted, it is to be studied and understood.
If studied with ALL other Scripture of end time events, it is very easy to understand.
Of course, one must put aside ALL his preconceived beliefs and allow the Scripture to teach you.
