Because I believe in God, and that He sent His Son (Christ) for us to obey and follow in His footsteps, so that we can someday be in heaven with Him.

I do not believe in Christianity!!

Christianity and the term Christianity is no better than claiming to be Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist, whatever...

I believe in Christ!! He is my God, my Savior, my Salvation, my Redeemer, my Lord, my King, my Everything!!

What I mean by why do you believe in Christianity, is why do you believe Christianity is true? In asking this, I am also asking: Why do you believe in Jesus? Why do you believe the bible is truth?

If you believe Jesus Christ, and I think you do, then you know there can be no "great falling away" unless something like Christianity exists.

Remember that word, Christian , is said to have been coined by brethren of A¨ntioch.

if that is they were just Greek converts. I believe they were of the dispersion at the time and they used the word, Messianic, but I am going by logic and not popular concurrences.

What is the great falling away?
Jesus teaches us before the events of the final days of tribulation come about there must be a great falling away, that is to say from what is perceived as the organized church........today a conglomeration of varied dogmas, most of which have nothing to do with Yeshiva's teaching

Romans 8 King James Version (KJV)

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Timothy 1:12

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Yep? Persuaded! But, not only persuaded to "believe?" But, also, to "know!"

I do like those verses from Romans that you quoted. I would like to know in my heart that God will always be there for me and that I am secure in Jesus.

Technically I was a Christian before but I had a near death experience that definitely changed my thinking.

The god like being (who was beautiful, pure, and powerful at the same time) gave me a lot of metaphors. When I looked into them they all seemed to stem from the Bible. So I see that as the word of God.

That reminded me of what my grandpa used to say about death. He would say , " you know, when you die you leave your body" He also would hum where the roses never fade. He really missed grandma after she passed and now he is gone, but his legacy still is here. He, grandma, and my dad will forever be in my heart.

I do like those verses from Romans that you quoted. I would like to know in my heart that God will always be there for me and that I am secure in Jesus.

Hebrews 13 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Live Pleasing to God
13 No matter what, make room in your heart to love every believer. 2 And show hospitality to strangers, for they may be angels from God showing up as your guests. 3 Identify with those who are in prison as though you were there suffering with them, and those who are mistreated as if you could feel their pain.

4 Honor the sanctity of marriage and keep your vows of purity to one another, for God will judge sexual immorality in any form, whether single or married.

5 Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you ALWAYS have God's prescence. For hasn’t He promised you,

“I will never leave you alone, NEVER! And I will NOT loosen my grip on your life!”

6 So we can say with great confidence: (to a point that makes people ask" "Why are you always SO happy?")

“I know the Lord is for me
and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me!”

7 Don’t forget the example of your spiritual leaders who have spoken God’s messages to you, take a close look at how their lives ended, and then follow their walk of faith. ("this", is where it can get "scarey!" Yet? Be not

afraid, for God shall NEVER place more temptation upon you, then you can bare! Or? "leave you hanging",

with no way out!...That's a PROMISE!) (For you see? This is God's way of "strengthening/proofing,

proving/refining, as gold is refined, your loyalty, faith, and commitment to Him! For? **"You were bought,

WITH A PRICE!" "Your LIFE?" "Is NOT your own!" "Your body is the "temple" of the Holy spirit!" (so) "GLORIFY

God IN your body, and, IN your spirit, which ARE God's!") **1 Corinthians 6:19&20

8 Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same—yesterday, today, and forever. 9 So don’t let anyone lead you astray with all sorts of novel and exotic teachings. It is more beautiful to feast on grace and be inwardly strengthened than to be obsessed with dietary rules which in themselves have no lasting benefit.

Grrrr!! Being technologically challenged SUCKS!! It just SUCKS!!! Tried "cutting" my paratheticals, changing color, to distinguish it from the text? It worked ONCE! GRRRR! :poop:

Why believe in what is taught in Christianity? Because no other belief has ever proven itself so true and no other belief provides forgiveness by grace and requires everything of God and nothing of man.

The bible is the only book to have the history of proven prophecy and accuracy ever written.

Every person that hears the word of God call them sinners knows that they are sinners. They know the wages of sin is death because the bible tells them that those who sin and that's everyone, deserves to go to hell. There is no doubt that the bible speaks to men's hearts as no other book can do.

Christianity serves a living God. All the others worship a dead god. No other religion can match the promises and the confirmations of those promises that Christianity offers. Science and humanism have no eternal hope to offer. Most Eastern religions have no real hope only struggle to attain with most falling short.

No comparison by far.

For the cause of Christ

The reason I believe is because when I was all alone and life was pointless and I just wanted to know what it is like to be cared about and to have a reason just to take my next breath in my tears he did not hesitate to run to me when I begged him to come into my heart. But that alone is only the introduction of my belief because that is only how he came to me but in my relationship and bond with him that has deepened and enriched it's intimacy and love over the years- that is why I believe. It is true that I have actually met him a few him and for some they may say if they saw him they would believe but I met him before i was even ready to call out his name and be saved. And yes I have had many supernatural experiences and I have been taught and read the bible, I have had all kinds of proof and evidence far more than needed to believe but it was the bond and the love with him that made me truly believe.

I believe Y-shua is Messiah and the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of G-d. There is just somehow a "knowing", like how you know your boyfriend/girlfriend is cheating on you. But then it goes deeper than that. As I spend time in His Word, just be with Him, He is more real than that boyfriend. People say G-d is the opiate for the messes then He is my drug. I gave Him a chance when I got saved.... my belief was really a hope you are real.... then He has proved Himself over and over again.... Y-shua is the living Messiah.... as real to me as me typing, as real to me right now..... He is my best friend, when I am worried we talk, when I need healed we talk, when it's a good day we talk, when it's a bad day we talk, when I need a way of escape He provides one, when I'm sad He comforts me, no matter where my number is on the scale of happy, high or low, He fills my joy. If He is only the opiate of the masses then He is the cheapest (free) and the best drug out there.... But He is REAL!!! My LORD, My SAVIOR, MY FRIEND!!!!
