The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings the nations, those of them who will, to the God of Abraham. When Gentiles embrace Jesus Christ as Lord, their faith in Him produces grace. Believe Jesus Christ and receive grace.

I do not see how the word, grace, does anything to change the Word, not if you understand Abraham was the first to receive the Gospel, and he also knew grace. So did the prophets, many of the Kings, and many simple believers. Reading the Old Testament, espeically the Writings we see time and time again people who, by faith, did live in grace.

The law actually points to Jesus Christ as do the Prophets. People, not just Jews, were waiting for Him, for others knew Salvation would come from the Jews, that is from the Tribe of Judah.

Just as Rahab recounted to the spies that she knew of the God of the Hebrews how He had saved them from Pharoah with miracles and wonders, so people knew the God of Abraham had plans for all mankind. Perhaps all Gentiles were not aware of the coming of a Savior from the Jews, but many did know and many were waiting to hear His Gospel. Do not believe me, just keep studying the Word, and the Holy Spirit will show you...

God's Arm is not shortened that He cannot save, not even by scoffers and unbelievers........
Absolutely The prophets beginning with isaiah began explaining that Jesus would not only be the redeemer of the jewish nation, but that they would reject Him and He would send the gospel to the world for salvation. There are false doctrines that say that grace changed everything, when really the Grace that came through Jesus to the world, is meant to change the person who receives Him. The gospel is about transforming the sinner, into a child of God. we learn to think, and act Like the Son of God, to Live the pattern of teaching He gave during His ministry.

He was sent to the Jews first, and taught them the gospel, and then was crucified and resurrected and commanded those same Jews to go spread the gospel toi the ends of the earth. Pauls mystery

ephesians 3:4-6 "Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6That the Gentiles should be FELLOWHEIRS, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"

The prophets said this all along, paul was revealing that it had been done through Jesus. The idea that One gospel is for the Jews, and then later another gospel is sent to the gentiles is false, the mystery is that the pre excluded gentiles by Law, had now been included through Christ nd the Kingdom Gospel. The gospel doesnt change, we do.

Have I been born again?
As far as I can testify, yes. But Jesus talks about what defines being born again.

Peter proclaimed this

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
Matt 16:16-17

This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.
1 John 4:2

To know that you are born again is to know the Jesus is God come in the flesh.
It is both profound and real. Jesus is saying no human can know this unless it
is revealed to them by the Holy Spirit.

If love dwells in our hearts and we walk in the ways of Christ, we know we know
Him.

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
2 John 1:6

This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
1 John 5:2

The reverse of this is equally true. If hatred and bitterness dwells in your soul,
you still need to bow before the cross and seek His will and His filling.

Is knowing Christ and repentance a one off event? It appears not. It is a whole
series of events, of conversations, of experiences, of encounters, of deepening.

The first realisation, repentance and confession is the start.
But it is the first layer of an onion, that may never finish, and is profound.

But this is what causes confusion. How can a walk be not arriving and about growth
when salvation and eternal life seem a one off event? This is the paradox of the world
and the Kingdom of heaven. Look at the life of men of God, and you will see so many
lessons, such deepening and walking. You are talking about meeting the creator and
dwelling with Him, the creator of this vast diverse universe, and yet we think this is
a singular event, when it is the beginning of eternal different encounters, opportunities,
sharing and being. This is His creation and His nature.
One day a mans understanding leads Him to repentance His conscience is now clear, as He grows in the knowledge of righteousness He learns " forgive and you will beforgiven, if you do not, neither will you be forgiven" This is a new understanding for the man who had repented of His known sin and had a clear conscience before aquiring this knowledge...Now the man realizes " I have held unforgiveness in my heart for this person and that person......so His conscience is worked upon by the word. He felt no conviction but now His faith tells Him " Jesus said this clearly I have to forgive" The man now has a goal that will progress His understanding, yet when He begins to forgive al sins against Him...and His conscience is again clear...He finds "Love your enemies, do good to those eho pr=ersecute you"...as His faith leads through His conscience, His strive becomes to jkeep His conscience clear as He learns the word of the Lord, conforming theough The doctrine of the Savior and the Lord.

its definately a walk, and like a walk we have a path and a clear direction, and it isnt effortless, but our legs get tired at times, we dont feel our best one day, we stumble and fall another day, But we call out "Lord save me" forgive me, help me, cleanse me lift me up, teach me more......its all reletive a relationship beteeen the believer and the Lord Jesus, who mediates our relationship with God. This way is different than the Law, the Law has no savior to be with us forever and lead us gently and opatiently

First of all, the Lord doesn't ever say abide in it.

He says abide in Him.

Its a very important distinction.

Secondly, what is the word that He has spoken to you that has made you clean?
"First of all, the Lord doesn't ever say abide in it."

john 8:31-32 "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"

JOHN 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

The things is, abiding in Jesus Christ, is to abide in His word. to follow the spirit is to follow His word. John 6:63...The words i have spken to you are sopirit and they are Life."

Jesus is all about obeying His doctrine, Like in john 8:31-32

He says the same thing again and again. Obey my commands, continue in my word, if you do what i command, He who keeps my sayings, why do you call me Lord and do not do what I say? It is not those who call me Lord who will be saved, but those who do the will of my Father in Heaven....again and again Jesus teaches " dont just say i believe, but act because you believe.

the proof is in His word.

john 12:46-50 "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not MY WORDS, hath one that judgeth him: the WORD I HAVE SPOKEN, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49For I have NOT SPOKEN OF MYSELF but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

again john 12:25 "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour."

john 7:16 "Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will DO his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself."

The words of Jesus Christ are Gods word in the new covenant. everything he said in the gospels, are the gospel.....it is all about believing and following Jesus
