Jesus Christ teaches us the law and the prophets speak of Him. Perhaps a read through of the Word is needed with this in mind. Jesus and the good news are in the entire Word of God. God bless you.

The "differences" are what we read into the Bible. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Amen,
JaumeJ and GTW,

from Genesis to Revelation, our Holy Handbook contains all of our Father's instructions
for us to live day-by-day in the ways that are pleasing to Him -
whether in our 'low-times or high-times', He has made a way to bring us home.

in simple terms the bible said, there is a god.

it contains, the history of how, god made the world, took some people , that grew to became a jewish people.
through the birth line of this people , jesus was born. and through jesus, death was conquered. so death is not the end,

yet mans understanding developed through era to era, ie learning in many different subject, god talking and leading some,
to different countries\people\ etc

note, not all people in the bible were\ have the same standards or understanding that we have in 2015 in how to treat each other (to keep it short) or spoke the same lauguage . the bible is now wrote and translated for different speaking people. etc
