1. The Rapture is always imminent in Scripture

"I'm with you on this one. The rich farmer who was proud of what he'd stored up for his future - "his rapture" came that very night (Luke 12). It is more imminent than most people think."
Oooookaaaay, so pre tribbers think rapture is death. If these are your thoughts then rapture is really imminent

It's the other way around. Death is that person's rapture.

I thought people are raptured so that they don't undergo tribulations and death.
Even death is not imminent sometimes.

Actually, assuming a mid or post-trib rapture, there will be very, very few left to be raptured.

And who knows when they are going to die? Like Jesus said it could be today for any one of us. That's about as imminent as it gets.

If you want to stretch things. Death is simply departure to Heaven until Christ returns to provide immortal glorified bodies to the saints who died in Christ. Rapture is the transformation and glorification of living saints and their catching up to Heaven.

What if, when we die, we are taken up to be with Christ at His return. Is God constrained to our timetable?

That is exactly what I tried to tell you. Our souls and spirits go to be with Christ. But no one is glorified unto the Rapture.

For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Phil 3:20,21)

The Lord Jesus teaches against a secret pre-tribulation advent and rapture
Since I have presented OVER TWO DOZEN Scriptures which speak about the Rapture and made no reference to the Tribulation, this statement has no credibility. It would be up to you to prove that all those Scriptures pertain to the second coming, which you have not done. And using the word "secret" to put down the Pre-Tribulation Rapture means nothing. As a matter of fact, only the saints of God will experience and know about the Rapture.

He says that He will come in great glory and power AFTER the Great Tribulation
Yes, and Christ also brings His saints and angels WITH HIM at that time. So you must ask yourself how in the world the Church could accompany Christ unless they were already in Heaven at the Marriage of the Lamb. So this is easily refuted by simply studying the sequence of events in Revelation 19.
and those who teach a secret pre-tribulation advent and rapture are amongst the false prophets of the last days!
Now this is PURE BALONEY.
