In my first post "Will do greater things" I had asked some questions and I had received some valuable answers. I am grateful to all of you. My next questions is connect to the first.

John 14:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Does this work today? If not the why is it so?

OR
Is it right for me to pray to the LORD to give faith like that of the Apostles??

If that's what you want, I think you should ask for it but also leave opening for God to do in you something as great but different, if his will be.

Being new, I recommend that you ask all you can think of while you have untethered faith and before you start listening to enough talk of how "God doesn't do that anymore" to where you believe them over the bible.

Also, God IS willing to do greater things in you/me/us than what Jesus did. And you should seek him until HE shows you what he's talking about and how to do it. You'll either draw nigh to God and he'll draw nigh to you (and he'll answer, heal, teach, and empower you)...or else you'll start to draw nigh to people in here and in churches and forget about going directly to God with the hard questions (which will result in them being your answerers and teachers but you could forget about those promised things like power and healing)

I recommend seeking God until he answers...but the choice is up to you.

Love in Jesus,
Kelby

I like to combine this part of John with 1 John 5:14-15

IMO very often people leave out the "in His name" bit ;)
