*shakes head* so you never sin? So you feed the homeless everyday? If you don't, that's a sin. you can't escape it, that's why you need a savior!
Wow now you make your own commands up? Show me where it says I must feed the homeless everyday.

Stop with the straw man argument, I never said I have never sinned, or that i am immune to sin. But I can through repentance be forgiven, yet repentance is key.

Anyway, your not making any real arguments here, you can have the last word, if you want to discuss scripture that fine, but I don't want to argue your opinion with you.

hi, back to topic, i think i am an observer to god myself, not to jesus in his time but i feel like a disciple and my mind is open and willing to take in all relevent information and i am sure most of it is human nature and common sense, i think that it easy to spot a propagator or someone that is trying to confuse and distort the truth, i think i will keep doing what i do and back it up with god and his words

my sins are great and i think or pray that when i get baptized (if that ever happens) i will finally be cleansed and totally accepted into christ and gods embrace, it is my dream, blessings and take care.

Hislastingwalk,

Notice how your statement, "no one is righteous" and "you're are righteous by faith" got twisted around to imply that you are lying. Instead of accepting what these verses say, they have accused you of lying. Would that not be "false accusations"? I am sure a part of the Law was not obeyed here. Thank God for grace and rigtheousness through faith.
Amen. :) haha.. self-righteousness has always been a sin anyway. It's a form idolatry really. They idolize their good deeds, instead of Christ.

It's not a matter of opinion. It's a matter of Jesus. :)

Your calling us "swines and dogs", enough said. because were saying what the Bible says, your angry? What are you even arguing here? Do you believe a christian can live a life of sin as long as he believes?

Can a christian become a homosexual and marry a man, and still be saved? what are you getting at.

there;s more commands than just the 10. Do you wear mixed fabrics? Do you stone your children? Do you touch unclean animals? etc etc. There are thousands of commands. You can't keep them.

WE ALL SIN! So if what you're saying is true, then we're all going to Hell. Faith causes us to bear good fruit. You can can be good all you want, but if you're not relying on His righteousness, then you're not truly Christian. Why? Because your righteousness is a filthy rag.

You are saved by grace through faith, it's that simple. Anything more complicated is not the Gospel.

You can't rely on your goodness, why? Because your righteousness is a a filthy rag.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH!!! In Christ, you ARE the righteousness of Christ! You ARE Holy! You ARE worthy! YOU ARE LOVE! Wear HIS righteousness!

Do you still think we are commanded to obey the Law of Moses? It was "nailed to the cross" Col 2:14. We are under the NT, it is a sin to live under the old law, have you ever read Gal or Heb? the law of Moses is done away with by Christ. We can keep the commands of the NT, if not your saying we cannot love Christ.

IF you love me, keep my commands - Jn 14:15. Is this impossible? why did he say it?

If you have faith, it causes you to live a certain way. Romans 6 explains this clearly. Your sinful nature has died. and you become a new creation, )if) you truly had faith.

*shakes head* THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING! We are dead to the law!

We ALL break his law, EVERYDAY!

If the message you preach does not get people asking: "shall we sin more that grace may abound?" then you are probably not preaching the gospel.

Paul even had to clarify on this. :)

Now this staement is true, earlier you said that we all "sin"
Are you confused? If our sinful nature has died, why are you so convinced that sin is the norm for all of us?

Romans 6:1: What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Romans 6:2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Good passages, Paul just defeated everything you have tried to say on here with two passages.
You are teaching we can sin because grace will abound, paul says no, we are to be dead to sin, who should I believe, you or Paul?

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Romans 6:13: Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:17: But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Romans 6:18: Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:19: I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Romans 6:20: For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Cant have two masters. He is not telling us we are freed from sin in the sense we can now sin because Christ died for us. No he showed that in verses 1 and 2, made it clear so people could effectively twist the meaning.

By even bringing the passages up all you do is show your not ignorant of the passages that refute what you say, you have no excuse.

simply sinning doesn't mean you live a sinful life. We all sin, but we're not all sinful. I'm a saint, not a sinner. :)

He went on and explained about "If you truly died to your sinful nature" etc etc. :) but he also says, where sin abounds, grace abounds more.
