Chalk it up to my unbelief but if the man saved them and healed them then look at how many people the Pope has saved and healed.[/QUOT

Jesus saves and heals, he does this through people according to scripture. whether the pope or any person is used by God to heal or speak the gospel wich saves, is not for my judgement I believe all things are possible with God, my belief rests fully in Christ and I hope all who seek healing find it in Him.

excellent thank you
to dig a bit with you, if teachers will be judged more strictly, then there is a judgement coming? and there is a measure used. do you have any insight into the measure used to judge say....your average believer? and will it be a set standard for those who do not pretend or claim to be teachers? or is it a personal to each believer standard? thanks for the response

huh? I honestly don't understand your comment. but, now that you bring it up. There is only one God, the same in o.t. times and also new testament times as well as today and forever. and scripture is not unclear that Jesus Christ is One with Him and has always been and will always be One with Him. God bless you
The LORD in the OT is the LORD of the NT, consider 1 Cor 12:3
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 2 Cor 13:5 You are a soul in flesh, the fact you can speak bears witness since only man was made in the image and likeness of the Holy Ghost, seeing that it is given to you to understand that no man speaking....

Jeremiah 23:29, "Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"

The word of God is likened to fire. Fire in the Bible is a type of judgment. The Christian will be judged at the JSOC for how he built upon the foundation of Christ and this includes winning the lost.

1 Corinthians 3:11-13, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is."

The standard is the word of God and it's the same standard that will be used against the lost at the GWTJ.

The believer will never have to answer such questions. I will be present with the Lord. We will have to give an account on how we built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ and I do believe this includes winning the lost. I agree with you there. Am I doing enough? Absolutely Not! I need to get to work, building on the foundation of Christ.

People are dying all around me and I can't get to them fast enough to give them the gospel and some of them make it hard to give them the gospel.

I think God will ask two questions: Why should I let you into my kingdom? And: How many people did you bring?

I dred believing I'll hear the question, "Why didn't you witness to him or her?" And my response would be everyone's response: I didn't want to.

just inquiring into peoples beliefs on what the standard is that Christians will be judged by? is it the same as another? is it the same as those under the mosaic laws ect.....just your beliefs and knowledge thank you.....God bless you
Jesus kind of clearly states that we will be judged by the same standard we used to judge others by. That's why I often say that you will find the sort of God you look for. (And, that "looking", or expecting, is reflected by our actions toward others.)

If we have no mercy or compassion for others, the God we face will have none for us.

We will have a judgment according to our house(or church).

The church the body of Christ(masculine) will give an account at the "judgment seat of Christ"

In this ministry, the ministry of reconciliation, in this dispensation, the dispensation of the grace of God, God is not dealing with nations or the gospel of the kingdom. God calls all men today, by a gospel according to our justification(2 Tim 2:8 kjv). Those who believe the gospel of the grace of God have an appointment and will be caught away to the judgment seat of Christ, where our inheritance "building and work" will be tried, and on that day God will judge the world, also.

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Matthew 7:2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 13:12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

Matthew 25: 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Matthew 10:41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Teachers are responsible to make sure that the word is spread throughout the world correctly because they are entrusted with the key of knowledge, but they must not give up on those that opposes them. If they gives up, whatever that they has will be taken away from them and given to the ones that has kept on producing, like the way someone prunes a tree; they removes the branches that are not producing and tossed them into the fire and so that the producing branches can received its daily water or nutrients what the non producing branches has been consuming. And teachers are sort of leaders, that they are guiding the whole flock, and so whatever the direction that the teacher goes, the sheep will follow; and so if the student are corrupted that means that the teacher of them students is corrupted. I noticed if someone that is in a lesser position doesn't care that much if they loses their position, but if the ones that are in an higher position loses it, that it really hurt them.

The method God is going to use is whatever method we uses on our enemies; but to be on the safe side, to make sure to avoid being judged, and that is to use the method of showing mercy. If we uses that method, that it says whatever method that we uses, that God will use that method on us., and so the decision is our to make.

Hmm...........good question...........couple of Scriptures to consider

Romans 2:4) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 .) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 .) Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 .) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 .) But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 .) Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 .) But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 .) For there is no respect of persons with God.

2 Corinthians 5:6)
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 .) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 .) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 .) Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 .) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

how about the teachings of Christ? remember His own words concerning His return. some will have prophecied in his name, driven out demons in hois name, so obviously they accepted Him ( if they are doing these things in His name. yet to those same He will say away from me you evildoers.......these are His words. and who will be welcomed ? those that feed the hungry, clothe the naked, offer companionship to the stranger ect. it is not saying Jesus is Lord that will save anyone ( according to His own words of truth) but only those who do the will of God. and His will? to Love one another in truth with action and not tongue alone.......accepting Jesus is more than words it is evident in a persons Life. " it is not those who call me Lord, Lord...but those who DO what I have told you to. absolutely we will give an account to the master, and He gives many warnings for those seeking the truth. God bless you

Christians have one major fault in common to be judged, and that is our idle words. None of Jesus' sermon was rescinded after the cross. Matthew 12:36-37 (KJV)
[SUP]36 [/SUP] But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
[SUP]37 [/SUP] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The world of damned souls will have their judgment of unwashed sins and idle words at their own great Judgment.

Christians will face judgment at that of Christ. Some will be disappointed with a great loss of potential privilege, being called "Least", when expecting a title of "Great", and vice versa.

fire is not only revealed as judgement, but also a refining fire. that reshapes, cleanses melts but does not destroy...refines and purifies that the silver or gold may be made into something of greater value, useful to the master craftsman. just a thought to consider regarding" fire" thanx for the response God bless you

no yopu are right, His words are eternal they are life. I'm sure a lot of people will be disappointed, and others will be surprised in a good way. by our words we are aquitted and also condemned. words are extremely important in james it says how the toungue is small and yet steers our lives. the Words are always important certainly. we bind ourselves with our words, and also free ourselves with them as they line up with the truth of God. have I spoken careless words ? yep, but I also trust that God is able and willing to forgive every one of them as I repent and ask him. God bless and thanx for the response
