I lost a baby at the age of 18 so I am no tranger to death. (everyone told me stuff like God loved Elizabeth so much He her called home)

I lst my first husband when he was 39 to diabetes, he had a stroke, then went into a coma, again, I listened to people who told me it was God's will and just accepted it.

That was about 20 years ago. Whne Tom (my second husband) had a stroke I decided I was going to try a different approach.

I immersed myself in God's word. I encouraged myself in the Lord, I spoke out healing scriptures and to me they became promises.

Tom and I held unto God's word, it was tough but I knew if I didn't trust God that it would be the same result- death

I don't condemn or point the finger. I just know when I didn't see who God could be to and for us I didn't ask.

I already covered this earlier. It's unfair to group everyone together and say it's the entire movement and choose who's wrong.
Bible also says, touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. Bad or not David understood this and never touched Saul.. Nobody is in authority unless God put them there.. Bible says it's He who delegated..
Bible also says who is anyone to judge another's servant.
To stay in this doctrine, you're either guilty of purposely knowing, or ignorantly not knowing. Either way, it's wrong.

Sorry holley, but the entire wof movement is in error and convicted by their own words. And yes, we are to "judge" them according to Scripture and specifically according to Jesus Christ Himself. Please read Matthew 7:15-23 where at vs15 He says, "Beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. And at Matthew 7:23 Jesus says the four most lethal words in the Bible, (as far as I'm concerned) "I never knew you."

You also said in another post, "Does love not cover a multitude of sins?" Of course it does but that does not mean we are not to confront "heretical" and "false" teachings. In fact, we are commanded to expose them. Ephesians 5:11, "And do not participate in the unfruitful deed of darkness, BUT INSTEAD EVEN EXPOSE THEM."

And why do you "assume" they are not being prayed for holley? I've been praying for them 40 years now because I have friends that are still ensnared by their blasphemous teachings. Look what the Apostle Paul said at Acts 20:29-31, "I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; vs30, and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. vs31, "Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears."

So you see holley, Paul warned of the Church being attacked not only from without but from within. This describes wof teachers to a tee because they are within the Church. Now, the following site will give you an idea of what some of these "perverse" things are that they teach. Also keep in mind, that just about all the followers are victims of these heretical teachings because they don't know their Bibles nor do they take the time to check out what anyone says by the Bible, and that includeds me. Please read Acts 17:11. The Word of Faith Preachers - What they Teach

all I can say is.

God never promised he would heal all sickness or disease.. Jesus did it in his day, because the OT prophesied, when he came this is what he will do. I can have all the faiht in the world. If it is not in gods will. I will not be healed. and I accept to chose to understand God knows best..

God also never promised riches Physical) He promised riches (spiritual).. Prosperity doctrine is leading people astray.
If it's not God's will then you can't have biblical faith. Faith begins when the will of God is known. (Rom. 10:17) That's how we have faith for salvation, by hearing the gospel. If we didn't know that God provided His Son as the supreme sacrifice for anybody who will believe, and that He isn't willing that none should perish then we wouldn't be able to have faith for salvation.

Isaiah 53:4,5 says that He bore our sicknesses. Why would He do that if healing wasn't His will?
