maybe you misunderstood the question....after the gospel is preached a group of people comes up to you and say....we believe the word.....what must we do to be saved? According to some people...they believe so they are already saved...the scripture does not teach that...we can go to Acts 2 and see for ourselves what Peter said to those who believed and asked the question....If it is the same God we serve then the same condition applies....

Again, show me how a person who diobeys his father in everything has faith in his father, where is his faith at? He heard the word of his father, and faith comes by hearing, yet he ignores everything his father asks or tells his to do . where is his faith?

No. I am not saying that at all. I am asking you how a person can have faith in someone, yet diobey and ignore everything he says, where is his faith?

We receive salvation by faith, what causes us to switch to works halfway? Jesus could cast demons out and set people free not because they worked for it but because they believed. The same goes for any addiction and bad habit one might have. Our faith is the requirement and the green light for GOD to do HIS mighty WORK through us and CHANGE us.
