Most religions actually have their roots in the ancient Babylonian/Chaldean mysteries. New twists and turns for sure but 5000 year old threads are here.
as far as the rest of this conversation goes, I'm to dumb to understand it. Lost as a white goose in a blizzard.
And as far as deacon goes, I hope that isn't an ornament in front of the thread starters name that lifts the bro. above the rest of us. See: Matt.23. for full disclosure of Christs command concerning religious titles that the ekklesia mostly ignores. Have I covered everything? Sure hope so. Have a nice day!

It's always happened mate, from the beginning of the church.
Also in the 1800's some screwy things were going on around that time, a few sprung up that are still running strong today.
No doubt for sure......In Jude the false teachers predicted are compared to three men who were themselves false teachers.....the first propagator of false religion was Cain who offered his works void of faith and blood!

Yes, that's what millions of people are doing, well, according to them, millions of people from different religious organizations, how do you know which is the true religious organization?.
Well when you find the one where God, through the Holy Spirit and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, comes into you as the Holy Spirit, forever ripping the veil and revealing Himself to you totally regenerating you and changing you from the inside out forever removing any doubts in the process, then you have the right one. If you are in the one were a mere man "convinced" you of God, you may want to keep seeking.

If this is the case then all christians have the right religion regardless of organization, because i should imagine that what you have wrote is what they already believe themselves.

If you are in the one were a mere man "convinced" you of God, you may want to keep seeking.
And yet this mere man could be a worker of the true God.

Could be, but following men is a bad idea in general, and even if this "man" is truly leading you right he'll be pointing you in the exact same direction. Trying to "post modernize” this out will not work. Truth is truth and there’s only one, sorry but everyone can't be right. Have you not been filled by His Spirit? If so this shouldn’t sound so "foolish" to you.

1 COR But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

If you are interested in exactly where I'm coming from, and how I personally came to Christ here, My testimony to Gods glory in my life. It's long but worth a read. That will help exsplain where I'm coming from. Salvation is REAL brother in a very litteral sense, and Jesus is the only way to it. We can't change that to make everyone "happy".

Yes it is a very hard and horrifying truth, but that’s why it’s THE "Good News".

It's kind of like the saying, "Same story, different verse" in my opinion.

Almost every generation has had their prospective anti-Christ and their world events that lead them to believe we're in the last days.

I'm not so bold as to say we're definitely NOT in the last days, but I don't give much time or effort to saying we're not. So what if we are? Should that change the way we live? Should we even be giving a thought for tomorrow?

Which is the true religion?, and how can anyone be so sure that the religion they follow is indeed the correct one?.
Simple. None. All "religions" are man made.

Follow Christ and His Christianity.

Oh no i don't believe none of it . I just recently noticed a small spread of it near my hometown and it really disgust me. But I know who the true God is. But we ate losing people to these falsehoods. I felt bad because I didn't have the words to let them know that they are wrong without being rude. Even when speaking or witnessing to these people they become angered

Wow, I never thought about that, because I know online there are folks who call themselves "Pastor so and so" and then when they post you highly doubt that they can even be a pastor (for real) but then again its pretty crazy out there and so MAYBE they really are one.

You know the types who love titles to themselves, like "Prophet so and so", those seem to be the worst though.

Mo,
You have at least two names...... "Mo", and whatever your given name is. Guillermo (Spanish pronunciation: [ɡiˈʎermo]) is the Spanish form of the male given name William. That's me. But I am also known as Bill, or Willie.

There are something like 70 some names for God. Don't let yourself get hung up because some people think it is more proper to call Him by what some people think is the Hebrew name.

I happen to call Him, "Daddy" much of the time, and I know one guy who calls Him, "Papa." He is also called "Abba" in the Bible, and that is Hebrew for "Daddy." (Jesus WAS of the Hebrew speaking people)

Haven't seen you in awhile Brother........:) as for "last days," all I know for sure is after today, there will be one less day. So, maybe we are in the "one less days?"

Well when Peter stood up at Pentecost, and quoted Jude, he stated that they were in "the last days" at that very moment.
