I FIND IT RATHER CURIOUS THAT SO MANY WHO CLAIM TO TRULY FOLLOW MESSIAH,(THIS IS TO THOSE WHO HAVE APPARENTLY LIVED FOR GOD AT LEAST A FEW YRS. OR MORE) THAT EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE FOUND OUT THAT XMAS IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN A PAGAN PRACTICE OF VILE FILFTH, PERVERSION, AND HORRIFIC VIOLENCE TO CHILDREN AND WOMEN.

THEN THEY ARE SHOWN THAT SCRIPTURE IS CRYSTAL CLEAR THAT TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE THINGS IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD, AND A SIN AND HE WILL NOT BLESS NOR HONOR ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT IT. THEY SAY THINGS LIKE "WELL THAT'S NOT WHAT I DO' OR "I DON'T KEEP IT THAT WAY" ETC. ANY KIND OF EXCUSE SO THEY CAN JUSTIFY TO THEMSELVES THE LAME EXCUSE TO KEEP SINNING.

MY QUESTION IS, DO YOU HONESTLY THINK YOU'RE FOOLING GOD? DO YOU THINK HE DOESN'T SEE THROUGH YOU? BECAUSE YOU SAY " I THINK IT'S REALLY OK, BECAUSE I REALLY MEAN IT FOR YESHUA" THAT HE'S GOING TO SAY, "WELL THEN IT'S OK, EVEN THOUGH I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM SUCH THINGS AND THAT IT'S A SIN, BUT SINCE YOU SAID YOU DON'T MEAN IT THAT WAY, I'LL LET YOU DISOBEY ME ON THIS."

LET'S ALSO LOOK AT THE FACT THAT YHVH GAVE US 7 ORDAINED AND COMMANDED FEASTS THAT HE BLESSED FOR US TO KEEP. YET AGAIN, DO YOU THINK YHVH IS GOING TO BLESS YOU FOR KEEPING XMAS WHICH IS EVIL AND BE OK WITH IT, AND BLESS YOU FOR THROWING HIS FEASTS OUT THE DOOR?

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE JUDGEMENT COMING, FOR YOU ALL WHO DO THIS WILL STAND BEFORE YHVH IN THESE MATTERS AND YOUR LAME EXCUSES ARE NOT GOING TO HOLD WATER, I'D DARE SAY YOU WON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY THOSE EXCUSES TO HIM BECAUSE YOUR GUTS WILL BE TURNING INTO WATER.

IT IS TRULY SICKENING HOW ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE OF MESSIAH, HONESTLY THINKS THAT IT'S OK TO JUST TELL GOD THAT HE'LL HAVE TO ACCEPT THEIR WORSHIP THE WAY THEY CHOOSE TO WORSHIP HIM. SCRIPTURE SAYS HE LAUGHS AT PEOPLE LIKE THAT, FOR THEY ARE IN DERISION.

IT IS TIME TO STOP BEING SELFISH TO YHVH, AND START ACTUALLY LISTENING TO HIM WHILE YOU STILL HAVE THE CHANCE.

FOR ANYONE READING THIS WHO HAS NOT HEARD ABOUT THE TRUE ORIGIN OF XMAS. JUST GOOGLE THE 'ORIGIN OF XMAS' AND YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AT WHAT WILL COME UP. YESHUA/JESUS WAS NOT BORN ON DECEMBER 25TH, AND HE DOES NOT WANTING US CELEBRATING THIS BLASPHEMOUS HOLIDAY.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

I tried to explain what you are explaining to my wife. She just called me a Grinch, and a bah-humbug.

I think if people know what they are celebrating it is different than those who don't. The Lord looks at the heart.

I suppose anytime we can show love for each other we are following the Lord. Even during Christmas.

Well Avinu, Yeshua ha' Massiach has not changed his mind, nor YHWH who dwelt in the begotten. The Holy One changes not, he hates idolatry and corruption. There never was any teaching nor instruction in all of YHWY's word that this observance is commanded.

Our YHWH desires that we remember the passover Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, and by communion to examine ourselves to descern our Yeshua's body, to be holy as he is truly holy, and to sanctify ourselves to the glory of YHWH.

I'm not even going to get involved in this. Debating Messianic Jews is always a pain and usually leads nowhere, so I'll leave with this.

The problem I have with Messianic Judaism, and we see it exemplified here, is that it has tendencies to become more Jewish, and less Messianic.

You have your Jewish traditions and you have Christian traditions, both which Yeshua would have rebuked, For did he not say... By your tradition you make void the word of God?

Did your God command you to keep the celebration of Christmas? of Easter? Saint Patrick's day? Holloween? Now just where did these traditions come from?

Hey here's a thought... How did Yeshua desired to be remembered and by what means? What example did he give us? Do you follow his words to obey them? Hmmm... seems like those Messianic Christians love the Word of YHWH and trust the ha'shem.

When the issue of eating meat sacrificed to pagans came up, what was the reply? Oh well, go for it if it doesn't bother you. Why? Because we weren't practicing in the act of idol worship just by eating the meat. Just like practicing a holiday does not mean i'm sacrificing women and children. I'm not worshiping and idol. I'm not bowing to a tree, i'm just putting a few decorations on it.

from my experience this kind of thought is really on the fringe of messianic judaism...

anyway the christmas conspiracy theories existed long before anything resembling modern messianic judaism started...

To those who think I am. I'm NOT a Messianic jew, nor am I a Christian jew. Scripture doesn't have those titles in it. What scripture does call those who follow YHVH's Word, is, children of God, Followers of the Way, and bondservants of Messiah. That is what I am, being hebrew has nothing to do with it. Many use the 'jewish' excuse as a way of avoiding commandments of YHVH. I like how prophecyman put it, He commanded us to keep Pesach.

Ugly, you may not be sacrificing women or children and meat and all that. But that is what this pagan holiday is about and continues to go on today. YHVH said do have anything to do with these kind of things. DO not receive anything that is set aside for these things. There is no way you will ever justify keeping xmas or easter and YHVH be ok with it. NEVER. His word says what it says, and if we do anything contrary to His Word, then we are disobeying plain and simple.

Nothing of what I talk about is jewish or anything else, it is Scripture and scripture alone. YHVH's Holy Written Word, and nothing else. I just encourage everyone to follow YHVH His way not yours. Shalom

It is true that Jesus was not born Dec 25 and that it was the birth of the pagan sun-god but, alot of good can be done at this time. I find that people are more open to hearing the gospel at this time, it is a time we can teach people what the birth of Christ means for us, even Paul preached the unknown god on mars hill.
Isaiah 9:6
(6) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Laodicea, I couldn't agree with you more. And this time of year would be a time to tell people the truth even more. To stay away from these pagan celebrations as His word commands us to. Forgive my analogy, if you take a terd and dress it up all you want to look good, it is still a stinking nasty piece of poop.
Same goes with xmas, no matter how we try to dress of this pagan holiday, for those who know the truth, YHVH will not honor it, and it is our job as the body of Messiah to reveal this truth. Shalom

My friend Avinu, If we were to so describe your quote in terms of textured cloth, we would need to re-classify it by calling it a type of rough sandpaper. In terms of shock value to promote the truth... just precious!

I so enjoyed your post, now its time for a good kosher Reuben sandwich.

Jimmy, hate to bust your bubble, but Yeshua King was a jew, He was a keeper of Torah. So if you're going to follow Him than make sure you know How He walked. Shalom

He also taught the following the torah would never save anyone. And he was crucified because those practicing judaism in his day did not agree with him. Thus they rejected him as "their" messiah

[QUOTEHe also taught the following the torah would never save anyone. And he was crucified because those practicing judaism in his day did not agree with him. Thus they rejected him as "their" messiah ][/QUOTE]

No one is claiming to be saved by following Torah, it is being an obedient child to the rules of YHVH's house. He was not crucified because of the practicing judaism in His day. You really need to quote scripture right. Yeshua admonished the pharisees and sadducees for keeping talmud and mishna and teaching them above Torah.
