You guys are so wise. We should not stand in judgement over each others lifestyles.
But we should confront real sin, because sin is what destroys lives and ones walk with Christ.
But are you actually saying sin does not matter, and righteousness just happens, like does a seed become a plant without water and sunlight?
But you appear to be condemning people for having standards and saying they are hypocrites. Has it never occured to you that you are actually doing the same thing, but stopping people from saying walking with the Lord changes people and compromise matters. You cannot follow Jesus without recognising righteousness matters. Once you say sin is ok, just what everyone does, you have just become religious. But no you are not religious because you have been born again but with no evidence. Opps.
We are called to encourage each other to be pure, blameless, above reproach. But I think this went out the window for some, and low and behold it does not matter. Sounds 100% what sinners go all the time to justify their own sin and compromise. Jesus is powerful, but being addicted to drugs or alcohol is just a minor issue, that does not need dealing with.

And you are right...we should not judge ANYTHING...it is HE alone who will lay bare the hidden agenda of the heart and the mind of all men to see what was done IN CHRIST...
But in that also, you should then NOT ASSUME that those who aren't ANNOUNCING their works are somehow taking the GIFT OF GOD'S GRACE as some sort of free license to sin.
For you know what the WORD of GOD says regarding this...and that, even in the time of Paul there were many who were judging those in the BODY...and shouldn't have...
Which is why Paul said he did not care about man's judgments...and that he no longer judged himself...that this did not make him "innocent" but that his conscience was clear...and if our conscience does NOT betray us, we do have the peace and confidence to come before GOD trusting in HIM and HIM alone...by faith...from faith to faith, from first to last.
And the work of the saints is to persevere...for who lays their hand to the plow and looks back?
And if we did, would HE be pleased?
Who builds without counting the cost?
Don't you think HE already knows who belongs to HIM and whom HE has called?
And we are not like those who shrink back, but are those who press on to the saving of our souls...
From faith in HIM to faith in HIM...
Pure and holy faith directed in and on HIM...the author and the finisher of our faith...
