I have been to "Stralia" 5 times and absolutely love it...the 17 hour flight from Dallas to Sydney was an adjustment I might add....got a routine now that works pretty good though.....To your carrot statement....highly unlikely....fearing God is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction....To be honest, I want to know the truth and an honest evaluation, without bias and or preconceived judgments will reveal the scriptures to be above human reasoning...in the OT we find genetic manipulation, modern flight, nuclear war, modern war, space based weapons, flaming (chariots) that leap from hill to hill and move like lightning, etc....As a matter of fact most war colleges study the book of Joshua and a few accounts of war found within the period of judges...it contains the words of Kings, slaves, shepherds, prostitutes, soldiers, doctors, lawyers and every other gambit of life under the sun, yet flows seamlessly.....some say ten different dimensions can be found in Genesis....point being....either the book as a whole is inspired and written by men who had supernatural guidance or it is not worth a thin dime......it is the most least read, judged number 1 selling book of all time and has survived thousands of years worth of scrutiny and attempts to stamp out, burn out and or kill out........just saying.....!

I personally believe it is inspired and contains the truth about men and God.

You might feel bold enough to declare that you would rather perish in the lake of fire than bow the knee to Christ but I assure you that at the Great White throne judgment souls are cast into the lake they do not leap in of their own accord.

If you mean that our God is a killer, why you are on CC? If you would know him you would not say he is a killer. There is nobody on this earth who loves you more, then this God which you called a killer!

Try to walk perfectly in all that you do. Then tell me if you're perfect in righteousness. Are you good, one hundred percent of the time? Then you fall short. Short of what? God's standard of righteousness. This could go into a discussion of morality and its objectivity but in a world without a perfect standard of righteousness then all morality is simply subjective. Your actions only confirm the sin nature, and of salvation God offers it through Jesus Christ by faith. You must trust God, because He is faithful and not a liar.

The carrot is not necessarily Heaven, but rather God, Himself. God is calling you into a relationship with Himself. He wants you to experience His presence, His everlasting love. He loves you. You feel that the whole Heaven and Hell thing is a thing to control the masses, and sure, it could be used for power. However, beyond men's greed you must look beyond such fallible men and see the truth. Salvation isn't just a ticket to Heaven, but an invitation to a vital relationship between you, His to be son, and the Father. He cherishes you, and that is why Jesus died and resurrected for you.

The wages of sin is death..... Sin kills people.... God came up with a plan to save people in the form of Jesus Christ who as already died to pay for even your sins. God is in the life saving business not the killing business. You have your facts skewed... God is Love...

I don't need to beg God to keep me from the fire....When you love God you thank Him that he made a way not to have to worry about the fire because when there is a love relationship there is nothing to fear.

You don't have to beg because He is giving it freely, and graciously. He is eager to have you come into the fold, so that He may shepherd you. To guide you, and help you. You are helpless to save yourself, and God is extending His hand to be your Savior.

Sorry bro I never had a imaginary friend. But since your not willing to have a relationship then do not expect to understand the world of God. Either their a lot of crazy Christians or we know something you don't.

God seeks the seeker. Waiting patiently for all his children including you to seek him, while he waits with loving arms for the child who seeks their heavenly father. It's a choice all must make. Make your choice and stop playing. Either try to know God or move on like you said we all will see one day. Sadly what do we have to lose? Being called crazy and living to be better loving people? Such a loss while you gamble on your eternal home.
