I've been wanting to blog lately, yet haven't had any pleasant ideas. Then something came to my (lately) monotonous mind (-_-) at the moment.

The dark is quite a scary thing. And night is when that darkness blankets over us. But if we take the time to look closely, closer we see that it isn't all that dark without the sun. On nights with a full moon and bright lit up stars, the not so scary night gives of a beautiful soft glow around you.

Besides walking and being lost in my imagination, space is my go to place. My safe haven and happy place at times. I remember years back some amount of nights before school the next day I would stay up a little later than I should have, with my brother looking up at the night sky. Looking for anything that would catch the attention of our eyes. Being able to investigate the sky took me away from everything else at night and its one of my most favourite memories. It is one of the reasons I appreciate that made me a nocturnal creature of the night.

Walking at night watching the stars is the perfect vacation when you can't get away otherwise. And who better to share them with than God?

Job 38:31-32. "Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades, Or loose the cords of Orion? "Can you lead forth a constellation in its season, And guide the Bear with her satellites? "Do you know the ordinances of the heavens, Or fix their rule over the earth?

Psalms 147:4-5. He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them. Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.

Genesis 1:6. God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.

Psalms 136:7-9. To Him who made the great lights, For His lovingkindness is everlasting: The sun to rule by day, For His lovingkindness is everlasting, The moon and stars to rule by night, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Psalms 148:3-6. Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created.

Isaiah 40:26. Lift up your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing.

Job 9:7-9. Who commands the sun not to shine, And sets a seal upon the stars; Who alone stretches out the heavens And tramples down the waves of the sea; Who makes the Bear, Orion and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;

Matthew 2:9-10. After hearing the king, they went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.

Matthew 2:2 "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him."

Genesis 15:5 And He took him outside and said, "Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them " And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be."

Revelation 22:16. "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." ~ The brightest star that will ever shine.
