Hosea 7:1-7 The sins are exposed, the crimes are revealed

Gill summarizes this chapter: This chapter either begins a new sermon, discourse, or prophecy, or it is a continuation of the former; at least it seems to be of the same argument with the latter part of it, only it is directed to Israel alone; and consists of complaints against them because of their manifold sins, and of denunciations of punishment for them. 1 whenever I would heal Israel,

the sins of Ephraim are exposed

and the crimes of Samaria revealed.

For example, we saw with Trump’s presidency an attempt to “drain the swamp”, to heal the political corruption, and at that time it was fully revealed. The FBI, the FISA warrant scandal, the Russia hoax, the two bogus impeachments.

They practice deceit,

thieves break into houses,

bandits rob in the streets;

They used a pandemic and BLM protests, riots and looting to try and get Trump out of office. Zuckerberg spent $400 million to get election officials to commit fraud and steal the election.

2 but they do not realize

that I remember all their evil deeds.

Trump set up the “Space Force” which is a funny name for a wing of the military that monitors all telecommunications travelling through satellites. They know exactly what evil deeds were done. When he says that the election was stolen this is not conjecture or speculation.

Their sins engulf them;

they are always before me.

If the Lord knows their sins why not judge them, why allow them to continue?

3 “They delight the king with their wickedness,

the princes with their lies.

4 They are all adulterers,

burning like an oven

whose fire the baker need not stir

from the kneading of the dough till it rises.

When you cook you will first preheat the oven. What we are seeing right now is the oven get preheated while the dough continues to rise. Everything that has happened in the first months of Biden’s administration has convinced more and more people that he is a liar and that those who facilitated this fraud are liars. After the election people learned that the Hunter Biden scandal was not fabricated but real. 6% of those who voted for Biden said they wouldn’t have voted for him had they known that. Biden’s move to destroy women’s sports has convinced many more. Biden’s lies concerning not banning fracking or getting people $2,000 checks is convincing still more. Even the Democrats are now saying that Biden is not fit to be the one solely responsible to hold the nuclear football. The exposure of Cuomo’s lies is also revealing their lies about who really managed the Covid crisis well and who didn’t. With every scandal, with every revelation it is like bread rising. The second impeachment was all about the January 6th riot and ultimately what did Trump do once it was taking place. They wanted to blame him for not sending in the troops and not doing more to keep it secure. The problem with that argument is that Nancy Pelosi is responsible for keeping it safe and she turned down troops offered to her from the President. They claimed election fraud was a lie and censored any reference to it. However the Peter Navarro report and the Mike Lindell movie obliterate that argument. They can try to censor those but tens of millions have already seen the movie from start to finish and the same thing with the Peter Navarro report. The evidence has travelled around the world.

5 On the day of the festival of our king

the princes become inflamed with wine,

and he joins hands with the mockers.

6 Their hearts are like an oven;

they approach him with intrigue.

Their passion smolders all night;

in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.

7 All of them are hot as an oven;

they devour their rulers.

All their kings fall,

and none of them calls on me.

This is what the FISA scandal has revealed as well as the Steel Dossier, the FBI works as a kingmaker and also to bring down those that don’t join hands with them.

Hosea 7:8-16 They are a faulty bow

8 “Ephraim mixes with the nations;

Ephraim is a flat loaf not turned over.

Their plan is half baked. The only way their plan works is if 100% of the people in the know are crooks without a conscience. The problem is that 50% are not crooks and many of those have the courage to come forward. Others will come forward with just a little pressure and encouragement. This is how they were quickly able to get 2,000 affidavits concerning the election fraud. Organized crime is not this stupid, they will make sure everyone in their “organization” is guilty of some very serious crimes.

9 Foreigners sap his strength,

but he does not realize it.

His hair is sprinkled with gray,

but he does not notice.

Italy, Israel, Taiwan, and Australia are all very much concerned with the outcome of this last election and did what they could to assist the US in exposing the fraud.

10 Israel’s arrogance testifies against him,

but despite all this

he does not return to the Lord his God

or search for him.

Look at Cuomo and Newsom. Their arrogance testifies against them. Look at Pelosi, Schumer, and AOC. Their arrogance testifies against them. The lies, the hypocrisy, the falsehood is so blatant and they just assumed the press would cover for them.

11 “Ephraim is like a dove,

easily deceived and senseless—

now calling to Egypt,

now turning to Assyria.

12 When they go, I will throw my net over them;

I will pull them down like the birds in the sky.

When I hear them flocking together,

I will catch them.

This is the point. We know what they have done, but we want to catch all of them. We want to see who goes along with the impeachment, who “flocks together” so that we can catch them all.

13 Woe to them,

because they have strayed from me!

Destruction to them,

because they have rebelled against me!

I long to redeem them

but they speak about me falsely.

Woe and destruction has been determined.

14 They do not cry out to me from their hearts

but wail on their beds.

They slash themselves,[a] appealing to their gods

for grain and new wine,

but they turn away from me.

15 I trained them and strengthened their arms,

but they plot evil against me.

The one thing these politicians have been trained in is in speaking the word. They don’t really know how to do anything else but to cause not being as being by speaking it into existence. Sadly, they use this skill to plot evil, to spin a story, to deceive, to lie.

16 They do not turn to the Most High;

they are like a faulty bow.

Their leaders will fall by the sword

because of their insolent words.

For this they will be ridiculed

in the land of Egypt.

A bow shoots an arrow. If the arrow is the word that goes forth to accomplish what it was designed for then they are the bow that shoots that arrow. But they are faulty. They shoot crooked arrows, deceitful arrows, flaming darts of the evil one. The rest of the world sees their deceit and will ridicule them for it.

Behold the Passover lamb and His witnesses

When Jesus began His ministry John said "behold the lamb of God". That told us exactly how and when He would be put to death. The Passover was instituted by God to display the sins and crimes of Egypt. They had killed those little babies, which are likened to lambs. Jesus death on the cross displayed the sins and crimes of the Romans and Jews. It was the "videotape" evidence of their guilt. Maybe many of the other trials and convictions would have been harder to prove they were guilty. For example we have videotape evidence of a cop shooting a thirteen year old kid, but the kid was holding a gun which he had fired, the kid was out at 2am with another man who was a convict. So as terrible as that video is it isn't perfect evidence of a crime the way Jesus' crucifixion was.

That said, Jesus said that we were His witnesses. During the Passover you don't just have the lamb, you also have the witnesses. These are the ones who have put the blood on the doorpost. Our mouth is our "door" to our heart. The eyes and ears may be windows, but the mouth is the door. The witnesses must put the blood of the lamb on the lintel above the door.

Deuteronomy 6:9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

How do you write the law of God on the doorposts? The law of God is a portrait of God, the blood of the lamb is also a portrait of God, an expression of God manifested in the flesh. The witnesses need to have Jesus, the incarnated word of God, the Lamb of God who died for us, on their mouth.

The age of grace is two thousand years which to God is like two days.

Hosea 6:2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.

This age is like a trial where the evidence is presented that this age is corrupt, the rulers are evil, and they need to be judged. We are the witnesses in this trial.

Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

This is the conclusion of the prosecution. Once the prosecution rests the defendants still have an opportunity to present a defense. Therefore after they give their testimony they still need to wait a little longer until the trial is concluded and there is a judgement. However, when a guilty party has no defense they will often do something desperate like "kill more servants just as the others had been killed".

The Jewish year begins with the Passover lamb being slain, the crime is committed and the witnesses are there. To be a witness is to eat the bread of affliction during the feast of unleavened bread. After that you present the law enumerating the charges and offenses, the feast of Pentecost celebrates the Israelites coming to Mount Sinai where the Law was given after the Passover feast. Then when the trial is concluded you have a deliberation of the Jury. This is called "the days of awe" or "Jacob's trouble". It is the ten days from the Festival of Trumpets to the day of Atonement which is when the judge announces the verdict. The Jewish year can be viewed as a trial.

So then let's return to our role in this trial, we are not the lamb of God but there have been many martyrs and their blood is also part of the evidence against this evil age. If you have an evil ruler on trial for murder it is very relevant if there are multiple offenses of this crime that are similar. If you had a serial killer it would be very important to present evidence not only of Jesus crucifixion but also of all the other crimes and sins they have committed. Therefore the Jewish year does not just have "the Passover" but there is also a second Passover for those who missed the first one. That to me is what the fifth seal being opened is all about.

Revelation 6:12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

This is the point in the trial when the criminal knows he is doomed. I suspect that this is immediately after the first rapture. But we are given a very interesting clue, "the whole moon turned blood red". That will not ever happen 50 days after the Passover because the Passover is always on a full moon. You will never get a full moon 50 days later. Nor will it happen on the Festival of Trumpets because that is always on a new moon unless it is a jubilee year in which case it will be ten days later, still not a full a moon. Nor will it ever be on the feast of atonement because that is always ten days after the New moon. There are only two festivals that occur during a full moon, Passover and Tabernacles. (Of course 2nd Passover is also during the full moon).

Revelation 6:7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

Look at this! Passover refers to God standing over the house to prevent it from being broken into by the avenging angel. Here we see the exact same thing. Also we are told that the Lord's return will be like a thief in the night for those who are not paying attention. The only Jewish festival with a "thief in the night" is Passover, the avenging angel went through all the houses of the Egyptians and stole the firstborn of man and beast.

Another interesting point about Passover, they celebrate the meal the evening before the full moon, then they leave Egypt immediately after and that night you have your full moon, the first night in the desert. Likewise we see the fifth seal with the blood of the martyrs seemingly the night before the sixth seal when we see the blood moon.

Joshua 6:1-20 -- Riding forth conquering and to conquer

1 Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

Right now the world is terrified of the church, the gospel, and the Lord. They see everything that is coming true before their eyes and they know that means the day of judgement is near.

2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”

This is a fantastic plan. Try and visualize a city that has a wall all the way around it. The wall is essentially a circle. It is supported on the inside so if you try to knock it down it will stand. The design is very sturdy at repelling those who are outside trying to get in, but it is very poor at stopping those on the inside from getting out. Now imagine you are in this city, locked tight and up on the ramparts of this wall you have soldiers watching what is going on. Everyone in the city wants to know “what are they doing?” They say “nothing, just walking around”. You think “no way, they are doing something, you are missing it, if I was up there I would see”. This goes on day after day after day. Finally on the seventh day they blast the trumpets, everyone inside knows that they are definitely doing something now and all around the city the inhabitants rush up the ladders to see what is going on and oops, there is nothing to prevent the wall from falling down flat. The world is shut up in this city being told to lock down and they know the people telling them what to do are lying to them. Even Bill Maher the atheist knows they are being lied to. Fauci and the others are the ones on top of the wall telling everyone in the city to continue being in a lockdown indefinitely, they know it is a lie. Outside this wall there are those marching around the city proclaiming liberty, blowing the trumpet, and lifting up the Lord Jesus. What do you think is going to happen when for 2,000 years the world has been told about the Lord’s return, the rapture, and the judgement and then they see the rapture?

6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.” 7 And he ordered the army, “Advance! March around the city, with an armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord.”

Now to do this properly you have to carry the ark, and to carry that ark you must be a priest who is sanctified. There is a proper way to bear the testimony of the Lord.

8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them. 9 The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark. All this time the trumpets were sounding. 10 But Joshua had commanded the army, “Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!” 11 So he had the ark of the Lord carried around the city, circling it once. Then the army returned to camp and spent the night there.

To give a shout is to give a Teruah. These trumpets and this shout both point us to the feast of trumpets. We are proclaiming the coming of the king, we are proclaiming that the Bridegroom cometh, and we are proclaiming that it is the Day of the Lord.

12 Joshua got up early the next morning and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. 13 The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the Lordand blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the Lord, while the trumpets kept sounding. 14 So on the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days. 15 On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. 16 The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! 17 The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. 18 But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.”

This is quite significant because at the Lord’s return He will call His servants to make account and they will need to bring forth the talents He gave them and show what they have done with them. Nothing will be lost. Everything belongs to the Lord. If you were to steal one of the devoted things you would be stealing from God. Also note that Rahab the prostitute represents someone on the inside who helped spy out the city. Right now we have people on the inside telling us about the corruption, the sins and the crimes of the Democrats, of the Biden crime family, and of many in the deep state.

20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.

One translation is “they went straight up”. This is a picture of the rapture. It will be a glorious victory for the gospel. It will be our entry into the good land. It will mark the year of Jubilee where everything that was taken from us will be returned (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob lived in the good land before going down to Egypt and becoming enslaved). It will also come like a thief in the night. When the saints are raptured Satan’s kingdom will be robbed.

Joshua 6:21-27 Who is Rahab and what is Jericho?

21 They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys. 22 Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house and bring her out and all who belong to her, in accordance with your oath to her.” 23 So the young men who had done the spying went in and brought out Rahab, her father and mother, her brothers and sisters and all who belonged to her. They brought out her entire family and put them in a place outside the camp of Israel.

I like to think of Rahab as being similar to Oscar Schindler. Schindler was a “prostitute”. He sold himself to the Germans to make money. But when he saw what they were doing to the Jews he feared God. He knew there would be a fearful judgement and so he hid the Jews, protecting them from the concentration camp and the gas chambers. As a result he is counted as one of the righteous before God.

24 Then they burned the whole city and everything in it, but they put the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron into the treasury of the Lord’s house. 25 But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho—and she lives among the Israelites to this day. 26 At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: “Cursed before the Lord is the one who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho: “At the cost of his firstborn son he will lay its foundations; at the cost of his youngest he will set up its gates.” 27 So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land.

Joshua, the Jewish version of Jesus. There are several pictures of the rapture, one is of a coronation, one is of a wedding, one is of the initiation of the tribulation on Earth, and one is of the Lord girding His sword on His side and riding forth on the white horse conquering and to conquer.

But what is Jericho? Maybe it represents the collusion between the tech giants, the mainstream media, the politicians and the deep state to censor information, to spread disinformation, and to control what people can and cannot see.

Hosea 8:1-7 Sow to the wind reap the whirlwind


1 “Put the trumpet to your lips!

An eagle is over the house of the Lord

because the people have broken my covenant

and rebelled against my law.


Every believer needs to sound the warning. Why do you think Germany attacked the Jews viciously during WWII? Because of hyperinflation the entire economy was in a shambles. The Germans didn’t know what happened or why but they did know that bankers and those in charge of that industry had to see what was happening and did nothing. You don’t warn the world of the coming judgement during the Day of the Lord then of course they will blame you when it comes.


2 Israel cries out to me,

‘Our God, we acknowledge you!’

3 But Israel has rejected what is good;

an enemy will pursue him.


Let’s be honest, today they are rejecting all sorts of things that are good. One of the BLM founders has bought four homes worth $3 million and yet not a penny of that donated to them has helped the real victims of crimes. They are simply a shake down racket. Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and Malcolm X have all been rejected by Antifa, who thinks violence, rioting and looting is the way. Now they are turning on themselves. BLM is turning on Biden, and Antifa is turning on both BLM and Biden.


4 They set up kings without my consent;

they choose princes without my approval.

With their silver and gold

they make idols for themselves

to their own destruction.


Election fraud is very real. According to the constitution God has given His consent to majority rule, but not to election fraud.


5 Samaria, throw out your calf-idol!

My anger burns against them.

How long will they be incapable of purity?


6 They are from Israel!

This calf—a metalworker has made it;

it is not God.

It will be broken in pieces,

that calf of Samaria.


The calf was an idol for the agricultural economy. Cows were the engine that transformed the landscape as well as providing milk, cheese and meat. Recently the US dollar was the “petro dollar”, oil was the engine that transformed the cities as well as providing the basic ingredients in fertilizer. But they want to change that to a digital dollar. Biden’s unconstrained spending spree will break the petro dollar into pieces.

7 “They sow the wind

and reap the whirlwind.

The stalk has no head;

it will produce no flour.

Were it to yield grain,

foreigners would swallow it up.


Accusing Trump of not listening to the science is sowing to the wind. But now even liberals like Bill Maher know that they have lied to the people and the states like Texas and Florida which were supposedly run by idiot science deniers are actually the states doing the best. They are realizing the Cuomo and Whitmer intentionally spiked the deaths by sending infected people into nursing homes. They are going to reap the whirlwind. They were hoping to have the pandemic end now that Trump is out of office but it is too late, too many millions have had it, now we have new and different strains. The economy is set up to receive a knockout blow. They encouraged BLM riots and looting as a way to make it look like Trump was the cause of chaos, they sowed to the wind but now they are going to reap the whirlwind as Antifa and BLM realize they have been played. They are on record accusing Trump of being a fascist in the way he treats people on the border yet the border is three times worse now. Their hypocrisy is on display for all to see. They are ignoring the science, packing people like sardines into the border, they are insulting americans paying millions and millions of dollars to house illegal aliens in hotels while leaving American veterans on the streets homeless. All of their words will come back to haunt them as a whirlwind.

Hosea 8:8-14 The Democrats are like a wild donkey wandering alone that no one wants.

8 Israel is swallowed up;

now she is among the nations

like something no one wants.


Political capital is based on popularity. Biden’s support from those who still strongly support him is down around 35%, that is terrible! No politician will want anything to do with him as he is now toxic. Biden has aligned himself with “the squad” even though they are incredibly unpopular, they are like something that no one wants.


9 For they have gone up to Assyria

like a wild donkey wandering alone.

Ephraim has sold herself to lovers.

The Democrats are like a wild donkey wandering alone.

10 Although they have sold themselves among the nations,

I will now gather them together.

They will begin to waste away

under the oppression of the mighty king.

The cancel culture is the “oppression of the mighty king”. Biden has sold himself to the CCP. MLB moved the all star game from Atlanta to Denver and as a result the support among republicans for baseball plummeted. The result of all the “cancel culture” is that conservative Christians are realizing they will need to gathered together. Rumble, Gab, FrankSpeech are all examples of God gathering us together. You will see the NFL, NBA, MLB and all the others who bow the knee to cancel culture will begin to waste away.

11 “Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings,

these have become altars for sinning.

12 I wrote for them the many things of my law,

but they regarded them as something foreign.

13 Though they offer sacrifices as gifts to me,

and though they eat the meat,

the Lord is not pleased with them.

Now he will remember their wickedness

and punish their sins:

They will return to Egypt.

Denominational churches have proliferated, but instead of being a place to worship and obey the Lord they have become a place to justify sin and make excuse for sin.


14 Israel has forgotten their Maker

and built palaces;

Judah has fortified many towns.

But I will send fire on their cities

that will consume their fortresses.”

Atheists deny the Lord, deny the word and deny science.

There are people who will tell you that you cannot teach Hosea as though it is talking about today. It is a historical record talking about something that happened more than 2500 years ago. This is true and I have no issue with archaeologists and other scholars who study these records with that in mind. However, the Lord tells us that the word of God is living and that every word is for us to live by. So it is perfectly scriptural to use these words as a lamp to light our way today.

What I do take issue with is the hypocrisy. People who deny God tell you how you can and cannot use the Bible as though they are God. When they say they don't believe in God what they are really saying is that they are making themselves out to be God. But it doesn't stop there they are so arrogant they claim they are being "scientific" and believers are being childish. So let's examine that. If I go to medical school they will go over in great detail a description about a person who has a specific disease. They will tell me about the symptoms and the treatment. Why? I'm not going to treat this man. They do it because they know that the expression of this disease in one person will be just like that in a second, and a third, etc. It is the same in Hosea. The expression of sin and corruption is the same 2500 years ago as it is today. I am not a doctor, I am a geologist. The overriding principle in Geology is "the present is the key to the past". What we are seeing happen today is just like what happened 2500 years ago.

My approach is scientific, their approach is bogus. They deny the Lord's word telling us that every word is for us to live by, they deny the Psalmist telling us the word is a lamp to my feet, and they deny science which is based on exactly the same principle.

Vice President Kamala Harris has been known for echoing the #MeToo movement’s slogan “Believe All Women” throughout the 2018 confirmation hearings, demanding Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh be impeached in the wake of sexual misconduct claims, and urging Americans to “get to work holding our leaders accountable”.

Vice President Kamala Harris has been criticised for deflecting questions surrounding the sexual harassment scandal implicating New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, after a sixth woman has coming forward to accuse him of misconduct.

She is a total fraud. Some people don't care, but anyone who is truly concerned about sexual abuse of women will feel betrayed by her and will ultimately turn on her like the whirlwind.

Detaining these children at the border is a human rights abuse being committed by the United States government.


This is the third example of her sowing the wind. The situation at the border is 3 times worse than it ever was with Trump. She pointed the finger at Trump now three fingers are pointing back at her. Anyone who truly cares about having safe borders whether it is to protect the low wage earners in the US, or to protect our streets from gangs and drugs, they will hold her accountable for her hypocrisy. She is now in charge of the border but refuses to visit it. Her behavior on this issue is atrocious, hypocritical, and despicable.

Joe Biden called the voter integrity laws for Georgia "Jim Crow 2.0" and he encouraged MLB to move the all star game from Atlanta to Denver, punishing a city that is 50% black and rewarding a city that is 90% white. But the hypocrisy is off the charts, Colorado already requires voter ID and has more restrictive voting laws than Georgia does. Not only so but Delaware, the home state of Biden, also has more restrictive laws than Biden has. Once again sowing the wind you will reap the whirlwind.

I have met billionaires, I have met people who were royalty, I have met the family of famous rock stars like the Rolling Stones, I have met people who were royalty but have been deposed, and I have met people who were poor, uneducated, and happy to make minimum wage. What is amazing is how similar they all are. If you gave them all the same clothes and put them in a lineup I would not be able to tell them apart. Some of the dumbest people I ever met were making $100,000 or more a month. Some of the most ordinary people I have ever met were the kids of the elites.

Think about Bernie Madoff. The man was very wealthy and very successful before he even started his ponzi scheme. Why do it? Why trade a good name for riches, and very temporary riches at that. It wasn’t the prudent thing to do, it tells me he was “simple”. Surely once he started down this path he kept going until he had to pay the penalty.

I suspect this is the big issue. Bernie Madoff lacked humility. He probably had a bad quarter and rather than admit to it, rather than let people see “he wasn’t all that” he thought he could cheat. Cook the books and as long as many people signed up for his fund he would be able to cover anyone wishing to pull money out.

In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls,

but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.

You see this as a teacher, some kids choose to cheat. That is the path they take and on that path there are snares and pitfalls. As long as Madoff could sign up more new money than people leaving he could keep up the illusion. The first snare is that the only way to do that is to have higher reported earnings than everyone else. Investing the money is risky, you could always have a bad quarter. You have to be opaque because at the end of each quarter you will have to have some bogus set of trades that shows you were getting better returns than the rest of the street. Your fund will grow into billions and billions but you don’t need research, anyone involved with the company would learn it was a sham. One lie becomes ten and ten lies become a thousand. All it takes is for one lie to become exposed and the whole house of cards collapses. It is very easy to turn down this path, but once you do it is very difficult to leave it and after only a few months it would be impossible to leave without confessing to your crime, destroying the entire company and going to jail.

Compare Bernie Madoff with Warren Buffet. From a young age he saw profitable businesses as cash machines. As a kid he invested in a vending machine and realized it was like a box which you go to each day and get money out of. He took this approach to investing, and his life became very simple. Find a good business, understand it, realize it is like a stock that will keep spitting out money each month, and buy it. Gillette razor blades, Coca Cola, Car insurance. Those are the things he invested in and then spent much of his time playing bridge. No worries, just profit. If there was a bad month he had no problem putting out those numbers. In one meeting he said he wanted to thank his personal trainer but the man begged him not to. It was a self effacing joke that demonstrates a guy who is humble.

This is the point. How do you make slaves? You lend money to them. At one point in my life my Dad told me he was shocked at how little money I had (he disapproved of me being a full time Christian evangelist). I said that is true, but I don’t have any debts. How many people can say that? How many are “debt free”? Biden’s policies are designed to make the US slaves. He might argue that the US was already on this path before he became president. That may be true but no one has embraced borrowing money (spending money you don’t have) more than he has.

What a great picture of today. The two impeachments of Trump were injustice, the lies and slander about the previous administration were injustice, the election fraud is injustice. They will reap for everything they have done. The first time I ever voted it was Jimmy Carter versus Ronald Reagan. I thought no way I am voting for a Hollywood actor, I’ll vote for a Christian, and voted for Jimmy Carter. However, four years later I had changed my mind and voted for Reagan in his second term. Do you think anyone who didn’t vote for Biden is going to change their mind and vote for him (or Kamala Harris) in four years? There is no way. How about those who voted for Biden/Harris because they were with the #MeToo movement? It is very likely they will change their mind. How about those who voted for Biden/Harris because they felt Trump’s border policy was a human rights abuse. No doubt they will change their mind. How about many of the minorities who bought into the idea that Biden/Harris would improve their lives? We are going to have massive inflation, high unemployment and we will be swamped with immigrants taking low wage jobs. These four years will be a disaster for the poor and many of them will also change their mind. They are going to reap calamity. Also look at the rod they are wielding in fury accusing Trump supporters of insurrection, talking about reprogramming 75 million Americans, threatening to quarantine the entire state of Florida, or punish Georgia. This rod of “cancel culture” will be broken. MLB, NBA and NFL ratings are already down 40% across the board.

In the US the media and powers that be have tried to present a narrative of white versus all the various shades of brown, black, red and yellow. If you are part of the 1% you don’t want a 99% vs 1%, you would much rather have the 99% fighting among themselves. Generally it is 50/50 between white and all the various minorities. Divide and conquer is the strategy. However, in my experience it is never about white, black, brown, yellow or red. It is about some people being generous and some aren’t.

Trump was mocked for four years. If you don’t know what “the mocker” is just consider how the media, tech platforms and comedians treated Trump. Trump never suggested deprogramming 60 million Americans who voted for Hillary, many Democrats have done that. Trump never required the military to take a loyalty oath Biden is doing that. Trump never suggested quarantining an entire state, Biden did that. Trump never encouraged punishing a state for passing voting integrity laws, Biden did that.

CNN has been unfaithful and their words are being frustrated by the expose from Project Veritas. The two impeachments of Trump were based on the testimony from the unfaithful and their words have been frustrated. After that I went to another rally in Atlanta and this time they were better organized. They were dressed for battle, all carrying bats, they had trash can lids for shields, they had helmets. But they were still outnumbered 200:1, not only so but many in the rally were also prepared and were carrying guns to protect the crowd (Georgia, unlike Washington DC is open carry). The people who are “scared” of the “cancel culture” are sluggards. If they would actually do a little research before they listen to these thugs they would realize they were a paper tiger before bowing to them. MLB took a 40% hit to their ratings as a result of bowing to the Cancel Culture.

Look at who the most foolish ones are, they are “children”. When I was in Atlanta I could see the twenty or so Antifa who wanted to start a fight, and I could see the thousands who were there for the Stop the Steal rally. The Antifa were all in their twenties, foolish children. The men in the rally with the rifles looked like men, some were cops, some were military. Less than a hundred yards away was a gang of thugs with baseball bats and I didn’t have the slightest fear, in fact there were women with small children and babies in the crowd and no one was the slightest bit nervous. There were real warriors defending the perimeter.

You crush things that are much smaller than you. You can crush an ant. Remember, compared to the Lord you are the ant. Treat others the way you want to be treated. These first rules are all defensive. Speak truth, remember you are the ant, fear the Lord and watch out for snares and traps. Most Christians who wish to be in spiritual warfare are not serious about that, they don’t think that the enemy is trying to lay a trap for them. Instead of speaking Jesus they retreat and say nothing. The best defense is a good offense. If the enemy tries to sift you it will be in court, He is the accuser of the brethren. He will try and take some word or action of yours and use it to condemn you. So then, fill the pages with words about Jesus. The minute He quotes you in court He opens the door for you to use every single word you have spoken, He has made it relevant. Turn his accusation of you into an opportunity to speak the gospel. Second be humble. I love what Michael Jordan said, knowing what he knows now he never would have agreed to the “Be like Mike” campaign. That campaign is not humble. As long as you view yourself as an ant they can’t cut you down to size, you are already as small as they can make you.

Do not say that some of those verses are out of date, this is the twentieth century. No, the proper response is “I am an ant, I may not understand this verse, but who am I to presume to move it”.

Mark 3:1-7 Is it lawful to do good or to do evil? To save life or to kill?

There is an interpretation of the four gospels that Matthew is the message to those who will be the last to be taken during the end of the age (the first shall be last and the last first), Mark is for lukewarm church which will be taken in the middle of the tribulation and Luke is for those who are raptured at the beginning of the tribulation. Therefore we see some interesting differences in this section from Matthew and Luke.

In Matthew we get an outsiders perspective of Jesus and His disciples in a field picking grains and we look on this scene and ask how come His disciples are breaking the sabbath. That is missing in Mark because these ones are not picking the grains. They are not looking at little words sprinkled throughout the Bible that open up the teaching on the end of the age. In Mark this teaching begins with the man with the shriveled hand. They have been told in this church that “no one knows the day nor the hour” and so they have allowed that teaching to keep them from picking the grains which in turn causes their hand to be shriveled.


2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.” 4 Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.


Stand up in front of everyone. If you want to get healed you will need to take a stand, not about the rapture, not about eschatology, not about any of that. You will need to take a stand on one basic question: is it lawful to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? Right now we are seeing some incredibly weird laws. Nine months ago Trump was impeached because of an allegation that he was asking the leader of Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden for corruption as a way to influence the election. This accusation caused the media and the Democrats to become outraged over the implication, yet in September we were given physical evidence that Hunter Biden had sold influence to his father who was Vice President at the time and not one word. No outrage, in fact nothing other than to do everything in their power to ignore it. A week prior to the election Hillary Clinton is very vocal and public that Joe Biden is not to concede “under any circumstances”. This was the rallying cry to the Democrats, bringing tears to many of their eyes as they heard this. One week later they are outraged that Trump has not conceded because they are appealing alleged voter fraud in the key states that determined this election. The main stream media says there is no evidence of voter fraud to which the President’s press secretary holds up 234 signed affidavits alleging 11,000 incidents of voter fraud. So they change that to there is no evidence of “widespread voter fraud” to which Giuliani responds with evidence of several million votes for Trump that were either deleted or switched to Joe Biden by the Dominion software used to tally the votes, software that Clinton, Pelosi and Feinstein have an ownership stake in and which also has ties to China. At the end of the age a simple question that you must stand up for: is it legal to do good or to do evil? During the campaign right up to election day the media condemned Trump rallies as “super spreader events” then the very next day they are in the streets in massive rallies celebrating Biden’s apparent victory without a peep from the media. During the lockdown every large gathering was made illegal except for BLM protests. These were advertised via all the social media platforms. The organization raised over a billion dollars, not for charitable work, but for the purpose of electing Democrats. But the day after the election a woman starts a Facebook page to set up protests calling for scrutiny over possible election fraud and Facebook shuts it down because it could provoke violence. The “stop the steal” rallies are distinctive for their protestors kneeling prayer, but they are outlawed by Facebook because they might provoke violence. Yet they never outlawed the BLM protests that were often marked with riots and looting. Take a stand, is it lawful to save life or to kill? “But they remained silent”. How can you not answer that simple question?


5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.


This event exposed their plots to kill Jesus. The end of this age there will be judgement. You will have those who believe in Jesus receiving judgement and you will also have those who plot to kill Jesus receiving judgement. Before that can happen you have to separate them. Today we see these groups being separated. I saw on Youtube many people at these “stop the steal” protests saying they were Democrats, they weren’t there to support Trump rather they were there to support the US constitution and a free and fair election.

Right now you have to withdraw from the mainstream media and these big tech platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Instead there are smaller platforms like Rumble that you can use, and other sources of news like Next News, NTD, Sky news, Dailywire, etc.

Mark 3:8-35 They are guilty of an eternal sin

Likewise there are some very powerful “preachers” on these platforms. So although many of these are taking a stand for doing good and not for killing, there are also those who are preaching Jesus as well.

This is funny. Everyone talks about that crazy uncle at Thanksgiving that “is out of his mind”. When my family was celebrating Biden’s “win” I responded that “yes, this is a very exciting election and I have been paying close attention and am very interested to see how it turns out in the end”. That brought a vehement response, I pointed out that CNN and Fox don’t get to call elections, the GSA does. Again, the response was like hitting a hornets nest with a bat, but the kindest thing they might of said is that “he is out of his mind”.


22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”


Now that is what the mainstream media is saying. The ugly, nasty accusations are off the charts. Their hypocrisy is on full display that they would all rally behind Clinton’s cry “do not concede under any circumstances” and then rail against Trump and portray him as Scarface holed up in the oval office.


23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan Drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.


If Trump were "Satan" he couldn't drive out Satan, he couldn't "drain the swamp". This is how you can discern who is who. Is Biden driving out Satan? No. Is there any possibility that he can drive out Satan? No. The nasty, ugly attacks on Trump and his supporters, isn't that how Satan talks, how he acts?


27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.


During the end of this age the Lord is going to plunder the strong man’s house, that is a reference to the rapture and the Lord coming as a thief. For the lukewarm church the Lord comes as a thief. But first, before the rapture, you must tie up the strong man. Bind him, throw him in prison. That is what we are seeing right now. That is what the “stop the steal” protests are all about. That is what Giuliani and hundreds of affidavits, witness testimonies, and physical evidence are all about. That is what the Pandemic is all about. This pandemic has bound up the strong man and his economy.


28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”


You can say that your crazy uncle has lost his mind, that is fine, you can be forgiven of that. But if you say that everyone needs to ignore 234 signed affidavits, if you say that the rest of the country needs to ignore 71 million people, then there is no forgiveness for that. You can be forgiven for supporting BLM in theory but when you see their hypocrisy and corruption and lies and still support them, no forgiveness for that.


30 He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”


If you say that following the legal, constitutional process to contest the election in the courts is “impure” and a “coup” then there is no forgiveness for that.

Every believer is concerned that they would be found worthy at the end of the age. Apart from a select few like the Mother Mary we know that all Christians are uneasy about whether or not they will be raptured. So this is a very encouraging word, “whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother”.

This chapter appears to be focused on the the churches which have been unfaithful.

the new wine will fail them.

We have seen a large number of people leaving the denominations.

This food will be for themselves;

it will not come into the temple of the Lord.

What will you do on the day of your appointed festivals,

on the feast days of the Lord?

Even if they escape from destruction,

Egypt will gather them,

and Memphis will bury them.

Their treasures of silver will be taken over by briers,

and thorns will overrun their tents.

The appointed festivals refer to days that God has appointed for us to come before Him. Obviously the rapture is an appointed festival. So this question “what will you do on the day of your appointed festivals” indicates they won’t be raptured. They won’t partake of the wedding feast with the Lord. This is followed by “Even if they escape the destruction”. The rapture of the saints is accompanied by widespread destruction. Once Satan is kicked out of heaven it says he knows his time is short and attacks the believers who are still on the earth. Then this describes their meeting halls becoming overrun with thorns and briers.

The days of punishment are coming,

the days of reckoning are at hand.

Let Israel know this.

Because your sins are so many

and your hostility so great,

the prophet is considered a fool,

the inspired person a maniac.

If you talk to some Christians about the rapture and the Lord’s return they consider you a fool and a maniac. In fact their is a hostility towards Christians, just the mention of a coming judgement will provoke an intense response.

The prophet, along with my God,

is the watchman over Ephraim,

yet snares await him on all his paths,

and hostility in the house of his God.

I view it like soldiers walking through a field and watching out for IED’s and other booby traps. For example I recently got into a very animated discussion with two other teachers at my school. No doubt this caught them by complete surprise. So I knew they had no opportunity to lay a trap. However, I also know that I need to be on my toes going forward and expect snares on my path.

They have sunk deep into corruption,

as in the days of Gibeah.

God will remember their wickedness

That’s right, vengeance is the Lord’s. Believe it, it is not our place to take vengeance or meet out judgement. Our job is to be a witness of the Lord’s grace and salvation.

But when they came to Baal Peor,

they consecrated themselves to that shameful idol

and became as vile as the thing they loved.

What are you consecrated to? If you are consecrated to an idol whether money, or career, or an elite education, or whatever. That idol will conform you to its image and you will become as shameful as the idol.

“Woe to them when I turn away from them!” Wow, what a great expression of how people will feel when they are left behind.

Wow! Christians will actually have abortions!

what will you give them?

Give them wombs that miscarry

and breasts that are dry.

This is the judgement on women who have abortions.

“Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal,

I hated them there.

Because of their sinful deeds,

I will drive them out of my house.

all their leaders are rebellious.

We are seeing many religious leaders get exposed and driven out. Imagine what it will be like after you are left behind and you realize that leaders lies and deceit are the reason you are now in the middle of the great tribulation.

their root is withered,

Even if they bear children,

I will slay their cherished offspring.”

This is so true, these denominations are blighted, withered and yield no fruit.

because they have not obeyed him;

they will be wanderers among the nations.

Again, people wonder what do they have to do to qualify for the first rapture. These ones were rejected because they have not obeyed the Lord. We are the Lord’s witnesses, we are called to love one another, we are called to embrace His shame and go out of the camp to Him.

A word to the Fatherless

We are still talking about righteousness and having a balanced stance. The last saying said that if you were skilled in your work you will serve before kings, now this one says if you do sit with a ruler or king make sure you are not given to gluttony. This is one of the key lessons we learn from Tom Brady. He was not given to gluttony. He could have demanded a much higher salary but he didn’t. As a result the team was able to afford other key players which played a major role in their winning so many Super Bowls. You always hear about some superstar quarterback giving expensive gifts to his offensive linemen. That is stupid, if he had taken 5 or 6 million less in salary the team could have afforded the best offensive line there is, that in turn would give him a few extra years in the league, better stats, and more wins.

This is a repeat, it is like a refrain. After several sayings about people who are very skilled at their job and yet were not appreciated. Why would New England want to get rid of Tom Brady when he was still playing at an elite level, was an outstanding teammate, and was willing to play at significantly less than market value? He was fatherless just like Joe Montana. In both of their cases the coach was not glorified in their success, instead the debate was over who was most responsible for the success. This is a warning to the coach and the owner, do not try and disrespect a Tom Brady, don’t try to encroach on his field, because his defender is strong. The worst thing for Belechik’s legacy is his attempt to say that Brady was past his prime.

So far we have seen all various things that go on before you even get on the field. Don’t be a glutton when negotiating a contract, if they don’t want you it is better to leave, be careful about trying to ruin someone’s career with a bad reference, focus on practice and developing your craft rather than opportunities to cash in.

He changed the culture from a losing team to a dynasty.

I am always reminded of Seattle versus the New England Patriots in the Superbowl. Seattle had driven down to the goal line at the very end of the game. New England was leading but a touchdown here would win the game for Seattle. They had one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and they had one of the best short yardage running backs in the NFL. It looked like the game was over and then a rookie or 2nd year cornerback made a great play to intercept the ball in the end zone. That interception snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for New England. Later the story came out that the coach had been very tough on this particular player trying to drill into him how to defend this play just days earlier. During the practice you might think the coach has it in for me, but later when you have won the Super Bowl you realize he is rejoicing as much as you are that you acted in a wise way.

“There is always a future hope for you”. Isn’t that great! The sinner steals something and is dancing and rejoicing, don’t envy them, no be zealous for the fear of the Lord and there is always a future hope for you. In 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded their star quarterback Jamieson Winston to New Orleans and brought in Tom Brady. During the regular season New Orleans played and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers twice and you can see Jamieson Winston really celebrating those victories. But then they met in the playoffs and Tamp won. Every time you lose use it to motivate you to study your weaknesses and improve them and there is always hope for you.

Again, the focus is on being skillful at what you do. Riches fly away, drunkards and gluttons become poor. The goal is not to get a big fat contract or to be the toast of the town. I hated the New England Patriots, I came up with every reason in the book why Tom Brady is overrated. In the end it was undeniable, I saw the little things he did like not take a big salary and to not think more highly of himself than he ought, and ultimately realized there is a lot more to being successful than just running and throwing.

She makes a very strong case that in the US discrimination against blacks is not the issue, the issue for blacks is broken families and fatherless families. One of the ten commandments is to honor your father and mother that it may be well with you (be successful) and that you may live long on the earth (have a long career and a long life). You see this rule proven time and again.

Why do people turn to the bottle? Perhaps a failed marriage, perhaps a miserable career, etc. If you are envious of sinners you will likely ignore your mother and father, you will get snared by the adulterous woman, get damaged, lose everything and then turn to the bottle.

Mark 13:1-13 When is the Big Day?

1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! 2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Every time the gospels take up this burden they put it into this context that not one stone of the temple will be left upon another. The age of grace began with Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. This includes a judgement on the Jews that rejected him and the Jewish religion which is embodied in the temple. Daniel talks about this, Jesus is cut off and then you have the “times of the Gentiles”. The 70th week refers to the last seven years of Daniel’s prophecy. It is called “Jacob’s trouble” by the Jews, we call it the tribulation. During that time the Jews will make a peace treaty so they can rebuild the temple and Antichrist will be revealed. There is a lot of debate over pre tribulation rapture, post tribulation, etc. The church age ends when the 70th week begins. Once that peace treaty is made it is no longer the age of the Gentiles. Christ will be crowned at the coronation and as a result there will be no more room for Satan who will be cast down to the Earth. The reason it is the “great tribulation” is because Satan has been cast down to earth. Therefore the coronation has to happen at the beginning of the tribulation, and the Lord is going to have His bride and His faithful followers by His side at that time. Solomon’s coronation is a type of this event. You can see faithful followers, Bathsheba who is a type of the Church in Philadelphia, and a celebratory procession signifying the rapture of the believers. You can also see at that time that many in Israel had been following the wrong man and were ashamed when Solomon was crowned king.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

The question is very clear, and it is a question that many ask, even today. Jesus does not tell them “it is not for you to know”. Instead He goes into great detail about what they need to watch for.

5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Many use the fact that there have been many deceived on this issue as a basis to mock anyone who talks about it. That is a mistake, when the rapture comes it will be a great testimony to the world that Jesus Christ is king and that He is the savior of the world. This is because everyone on earth knows that the rapture is part of our basic teachings. To ignore it or be ashamed of it because previous people have been deceived is precisely Satan’s strategy. Others will take the fact that many have been deceived as an excuse not to study it because “who can know” and “there are too many interpretations”. The Lord told you this would be the case. The fact that there are is not only a fulfillment of prophecy, it is also an indication of how big a deal this is to Satan. In football I was taught to “fight the pressure”. If they are trying to push you one way you want to fight against that pressure. Satan is clearly trying everything in his arsenal to get the saints to talk about anything but the rapture. This is also how you get deceived. Convincing you to ignore this is a win for Satan. Jesus, Paul, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Peter, Jude, none of these guys ignored this. When you are in a game like football or basketball the coaches will practice 2 minute drills repeatedly, because they don’t want any confusion at that moment in the game. Scam artists will use different techniques to get you to fear that you have to act now or lose all hope. When you are fearful your thinking brain shuts down and all you have left is the “fight or flight” response. It is “yes or no”. So then, we are much better served if we dive into this, think about it soberly and don’t allow ourselves to be in a time crunch where you don’t have the time. That is also how many are deceived.

7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

There are a lot of things that must happen in this age. Jesus is Lord, so all the human kingdoms have to be exposed as corrupt and dead. It was essential that the US would be formed with our constitution. World War II was critical to serve as an atonement and open the door for the Jewish nation to be reformed. We needed Hitler to prefigure the Antichrist. We also needed the technological advancements that we saw in the Gulf War. The church age is also the age of scientific advancement. All these things “must needs be”.

8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

The beginning of sorrows. The comparison of the end of the age to a woman in travail giving birth is one overriding theme. A pregnancy involves a lot, not just the last day of travail. The New Testament makes it clear that believers must go through a fiery tribulation. This age has had many, you didn’t have to wait until the tribulation to go through trials.

9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

The purpose of preaching the gospel is not simply so that the lost can be saved. There are those that will reject the gospel. They cannot be judged without a testimony against them. It doesn’t matter if the gospel is received or rejected, the fact that it is preached is effective and that word will not return void.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Do not despise the written word. We need to speak the word and we need to publish the word.

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

You might be intimidated, but the Holy Spirit isn’t. This is the opportunity He wanted, let Him speak.

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

So if you want an idea of how bad it will be there you go.

Mark 13:14-25 Take heed I have told you all things beforehand

14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

Daniel 11 “31 “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.”

So the antichrist will come in, desecrate the temple, set up an abomination in the temple which will cause desolation, he will corrupt many with flattery, and those that know God will resist him. Right now we don’t even have a temple, so then this could not be fulfilled today. But by referring to Daniel Jesus is referring to the 70 weeks as well. This chapter began with the temple being utterly destroyed, not one stone upon another. Now, he says antichrist will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up an abomination that causes desolation. Therefore the temple needs to be rebuilt.

Daniel 9: 24 “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place. 25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

So here you can see in the middle of the last 7 years the same guy who struck a deal with Israel for peace breaks the deal and in the temple sets up an abomination that causes desolation. This peace treaty that Trump is negotiating with Israel and the 22 nations of the Arab league allows the Jews to have authority over Jerusalem and to rebuild the temple. It is a major sign. The book of Daniel is a major prophecy concerning the end of the age.

17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

It is not called the “great tribulation” for nothing. If you are familiar with the holocaust, or slavery in the South, or many of the other horrific events in history you have a scale for what the “worst affliction has been in human history”. This will be off that scale. But to save time, we don’t need to discuss that here.

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. 21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: 22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

This is the second time He has told us this. Things are going to get crazy. You need to get a very good foundation in the Lord’s word before those things happen. Satan will do everything in His power to make things completely crazy at that time. Who could have thought that all the churches in the US could have their doors shut? If you had asked me one year ago if that were possible I would have said no.

23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

This is the problem with those who ignore these words because “it will all work itself out in the end”. He tells us to take heed to these words. He tells us He is warning us and foretelling what is going to happen. The best coaches can foretell what the other team is going to do, what to look for, how to react. That is what the Lord is doing, it is a deceit to tell believers they don’t need to heed to this word.

24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

I have seen some Christian messages concerning the signs in the heavens and these signs have already appeared. God made the stars for a sign.

Psalm 19 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. 4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

Revelation 12 goes into specific detail about what the sign of the Son of Man is, this sign has appeared twice in the heavens, once in 3915 BC and once in September 23, 2017. It is the woman crowned with 12 stars, clothed with the sun, and the moon is under her feet. She is in travail to give birth. The idea is that this sign is the basis for the first prophecy concerning Jesus, the seed of the woman shall crush the serpent's head (crushing the serpent’s head can be seen shortly after the birth). This would align with John saying Jesus is the “alpha and omega, the first and the last”.

Mark 13:26-37 The Lord is at the doors

26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

This refers to the rapture.

28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
OK a lot is here, let’s unpack it. The fig tree signifies Israel. In 1948 Israel as a nation was reformed, that was the fig tree putting forth leaves. You knew this was a major fulfillment of prophecy. This term “it is at the doors” is also very significant. One day Noah entered the ark, the door was shut, and from that point no one could enter in, the flood began. This is given to us as an example of the rapture. A door in heaven is opened, once we enter in, the door is closed and the seven year tribulation begins. The foolish virgins went and bought oil at the last minute, then they came knocking on the door for the Lord to let them in, but it was too late. The Festival of Trumpets is said to be when the gates of heaven are opened. Right now we know that “it is at the doors” but at some point in the future those doors will be opened and the rapture will take place.

30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

A generation is 70 to 80 years. 80 years from 1948 is 2028, that means that all these things would have to be completed before that point. The tribulation is 7 years long, so that means it must start by 2021 to fall within this parameter.

31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Again, a lot here that we need to unpack. Most of us understand “turkey day” to refer to the fourth Thursday in November, it is an idiom we all understand. This phrase “no one knows the day nor the hour” is a Jewish idiom for the Festival of Trumpets. A typical day for the Jews begins at sunset. However, this festival begins at a new moon. They need two witnesses to testify they saw the new moon, then they blow the trumpets to signify the day has begun. So when Jesus said this the disciples understood He was talking about the festival of Trumpets. Paul said that these festivals are a shadow of things to come. The age began with Jesus being sacrificed as our Passover on Passover. That was the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, which became our Lord’s table. He was raised on the feast of firstfruits. The church was born on Pentecost. Those are the first four festivals of the Jewish year, they were each very significant in the move of God in this age. The fifth feast is the festival of Trumpets. Jesus referred to it here, and not only so He said “neither the Son, but the Father”. This is a very significant expression. When a man got married he would first have an engagement contract with his bride (the New Testament), he would pay the price for her (Jesus sacrificing Himself for us) then he would go and prepare a house for them to live in (Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you). Once the house was ready He would then go and get His bride. However, the Father had to tell Him when it was ready, hence no man knoweth but the Father. The festival of Trumpets is also the time when the Messiah marries His bride. Once again, Jesus referred to this when He said “you will not see me again until you say ‘blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord’”. This also is a reference to the wedding. When a Jewish man was going to get married the rabbi would “call him up” to the front to read from the Torah. When he approached the congregation would say “blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord”. Now look at

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

After this refers to after discussing the seven churches, it is after the church age. The church age ends when Israel signs the peace treaty with the many for “peace and security”. The door in heaven is standing open at the festival of trumpets. A voice like a trumpet spoke to him. The rapture takes place at the trumpet of God. Come up here foreshadows our rapture. And it is a reference to the rabbi calling the groom to “come up here”. So this also refers to the wedding of the Lamb. I will show you what must take place shortly after this, everything else that happens in Revelation, the tribulation, the wrath of God, that happens “after this”. Some refer to this as the “pre tribulation rapture” but I think that is a mistake. The great sign in heaven appeared in September 23, 2017, that was three years ago. How do you explain that? After the festival of Trumpets there are ten days of awe, these are known as “Jacob’s trouble” and is a reference to the tribulation. So although the 70th week refers to a seven day period (seven year period), Jacob’s trouble is a ten day period. During this time the books are opened and the Lord judges His people and puts them into three categories. You have the good and faithful servants, you have the wicked who are given to Satan, and you have those in a gray area where it isn’t clear. We know that at the mid point of the tribulation when the Antichrist sets himself up on the temple there is a rapture of the believers who remain. We know at the end of this seven year period there is the Great White Throne where many unbelievers will be cast into the lake of fire. Suppose at the beginning of this 7 year period the good and faithful servants are raptured, those to whom the Lord says to “enter into the joy of your Lord”. So the books were opened in the feast of trumpets in 2017, the Lord judged His faithful ones, then in 2020 during the festival of trumpets He raptures them, leaving the last two groups. Many repent and turn to the Lord and those are raptured after three and half years, and then finally the ultimate judgement takes place at the end of the seven years. But wait, the festival of trumpets was September 18 and 19 of 2020. No, it seems it wasn’t. The Essenes said the calendar was corrupted by Satan. The festival of trumpets this year is supposed to signal in the year of Jubilee. It turns out that the new moon in October is a “super new moon”. This is what we call the new moon when the moon is closest to the Earth. One would think that the moon (signifying the Messiah) would be closest to the Earth (signifying His bride) on His wedding day (the festival of Trumpets). Also, in a wedding ceremony the bride circles the groom three times before the wedding. The earth has circled the earth three times since the great sign appeared in the heavens.

33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Many Christians will say that since we don’t know the day and the hour there is no reason to watch. This is a misunderstanding. On the festival of trumpets you have to watch for the new moon precisely because you don’t know the day and the hour.

34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Every one of us has been assigned a job to do by the Lord. You want to be doing that job faithfully when He returns.

35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

This is a reference to the High Priest. He would walk around the temple at night and if he found those who were supposed to be watching sleeping he would set their clothes on fire. They would wake up, throw off the cloak and run naked in shame. The same thing the Lord warned the lukewarm church in Laodicea of.

37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Three times we are told to watch. Think of the audacity of believers who teach we don’t need to watch. They say “if you are ready at the Lord’s return that is all that matters”. Time and time again we are told that honoring God’s word, keeping His word, meditating on it, is to honor God. When the Lord tells us to watch and take heed repeatedly to this word, you have a lot of chutzpah to tell saints they don’t need to watch and don’t need to take heed to this word.
