Prayer -- Lesson 2

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

2. With God all things are possible

Everything in school came easy to me, however in JHS I learned that teachers would grade you lower if they thought you hadn't worked hard enough. So I vowed that the teachers in HS would see all the work I did. I didn't know how, but I did know this would be my goal.

But the Lord was with me and He suggested I lock my books in my locker every night at 3. If I don't take them home I can't do HW at home. It was a simple plan and in the first couple of weeks I had figured out how to do this. I filled every moment with HW. I did English at homeroom which gave me a good 25 minutes sitting at desk to write whatever I needed to write. I wrote Social studies reports at lunch time. I did my math problems walking from class to class throughout the day. If I needed extra time I would show up at 7:30am when they open the doors for students and that would give me a full fifty minutes. Everything was working fine but I had filled every single extra minute I had and then we had a problem. I had a test coming up and I hadn't studied for it. I had not scheduled any time for studying! It seemed to me this experiment was about to come to a screeching halt (I told the Lord I would do this as long as I was never late with an assignment). To me this was obvious, you have to study for tests, you don't have any time to do that, so this is clearly not working. Still before throwing in the towel I prayed and told the Lord I need to be able to schedule time in the day to study for tests, however, I can't give you any time to do that. I have 0 minutes to give you but I need you to figure out how I can study for tests during the day as well. When I prayed this I thought it was a joke, this is absurd, of course it can't be done. But then the Lord suggested that when I am in class why not use that time to study for exams?! In other words give the teacher the full attention, focus like a laser and that way not only will you learn the material you will be studying at the same time?!

So I did it and it worked. I discovered that many of my classmates sleep walked through school. I on the other hand was getting ten hours of sleep every night. I was sharp, focused and soon realized that teachers would actually tell you the questions and answers on tests during class. I also learned that if anything was on the test the teacher would talk about it in class. I was not taking text books home and reading them, everything was what the teacher said in class and I was fully prepared for every exam!

And this solved the problem I had. My reputation at the school among the teachers was that I was the hardest working student they had ever seen. Come in at 7:30am and they will see me sitting outside my class doing work. First period teacher comes in and I am sitting by the door working. Pass me in the hall and you see me doing math problems. Spot me at lunch and I am doing work. Same thing with a free period or homeroom. Also I was extremely attentive during class, more so than anyone else. However, my friends and family had a completely different view. They never saw me with a book, never heard me say that I needed to go home and study. I worked from 8-3 mon-fri but after that it was all free time.

Prayer Lesson 3

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

3. He teacheth my hands to war

I was meeting in a church that was based on the churches Watchman Nee raised up in China. One of the special characteristics of this church was they had time at the end of each meeting for people to share testimonies. There would be a time limit that was anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, but every meeting without fail there would be a time to stand and speak. This was monitored and controlled by the elders so that they kept a good order and as a result some people got rebuked and embarrassed publicly. This was a very good practice, but they were also using this time to promote the ministry of the "apostle". Some of these testimonies were shameless plugs for the ministry, and at least half were testimonials about the ministry rather than the Lord. I became a person who regularly shared a testimony, however unlike all the other "regulars" I never referenced "the ministry". I would share experiences of the Lord, Bible verses that I found enlightening, and experiences with the gospel. I had nothing against the ministry but my testimonies weren't based on the ministry.

So after about two years I was in a meeting and when it was time for testimonies all the "regular" brothers got up and attacked me in their testimonies. They didn't say my name but it was very clear who they were talking about. I was confused. When the meeting was over I was standing by myself, I had become a pariah and I had no idea why. Then this brother who very young, maybe in JHS came up to me and quoted a song they sing in children's church "you can talk about me just as much as you please, I'll talk about you down on my knees". I felt that was a clear message from the Lord, I went home and prayed and opened the Bible. The verse that I was impressed with was what Paul said in Galatians that "he did not give place to them for five minutes". I prayed over that and it was clear to me what the Lord was saying. The very next meeting as soon as they had the testimonies I was the first out of my seat and spoke. All of that slander was like a big paper tiger they hold out at the beginning of a football game and I felt like I just ran right through it. From that point on if they don't say specifically they are talking about me I just ignore it. If they use my name it is slander and they open themselves to a lawsuit (I did not know this at the time but they had been sued a few years before I came to that church). Since everything they were saying was a lie they backed down.

As a result the whole church could see and just like in the gospels:

25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? 26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him.

Prayer Lesson 4

Psalm 31:3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

I was walking across campus to see a professor. His office was on the other side of campus so I figured I'd pass out gospel tracts as I walked, but I only had one tract left. So, I prayed that the Lord would lead me and guide me with this tract to the person who needed it and for whom this message would resonate. As I passed each person I prayed and there was no anointing or leading to give it to that person. By the time I got to the professor's office I was angry, in the waiting room was another girl so I walked up to her and said "here, this is for you" and handed her the tract. She took it, read the cover and said "That is appropriate, I just learned I have lung cancer". The title of the tract was "Life at best is very brief, like the falling of a leaf".

Prayer lesson 5

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

During the AIDS epidemic my cousin caught AIDS and was dying. At that time I was staying at my uncle's house with him. I was praying every day that the Lord would heal him. But he died and I was at the funeral. Still this made an impact on me. About 40 years later during the Pandemic I was carefully watching the news and learned from Dr. Zelensky that HCQ is useful against any viral infection and that Quercetin and Zinc strengthen your immune system against any viral infection. I had made contact with a small orphanage in Kenya that was taking care of about 45 kids, many of whom were HIV positive. So I sent them HCQ, Quercetin and Zinc. After a month they saw a very good response in all the kids who had HIV. They felt better, they had gained weight and their doctor said that whatever they were doing was very beneficial. So I sent them money to buy more of these supplies.

Prayer Lesson 6

confess your faults to one another

I got a phone call that my dad had been rushed to the hospital and they didn't expect him to live through the night, he had leukemia. I was four hours away and so as I drove I prayed. When I arrived he was in very bad shape but he besought me saying he needed to time to make his will because he hadn't done that.

So I prayed for him through the night. In the morning he looked excellent. He was sitting up, happy, laughing and in very good spirits. We had a lawyer come and talk to him and write up the will. He lived for another two weeks and was able to complete the will before dying.

Many times we wonder why we pray for people who are sick and they don't get healed. First they have to confess their fault.

James 5:14-16 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer Lesson 7

The prayer of faith shall save the sick

I got a call that my mother had been rushed to the hospital, she had had a stroke in the middle of the night. While driving to the hospital I was praying and said "Lord if it be your will you can heal her". The Lord responded by asking me where it was ever not His will to heal someone? That hit me, I realized there is no such example, anywhere.

However, you hear this all the time from pastor's, preachers, and Bible teachers. Where does it come from?

James said that "the prayer of faith shall save the sick". This is a faithless prayer.

When I arrived at the hospital her arm was paralyzed and she couldn't speak, only gibberish noises. They have medicine that can help if administered shortly after the stroke, however, they had no idea how long it had been since the stroke so they didn't give her this medicine.

The next morning when we arrived at the hospital she was fine. She could speak fine and her arm was no longer paralyzed. Just then my sister called and was distraught wondering if she would ever be able to speak to our mom normally again. I told her you can talk to her normally right now and handed the phone to my mom. This event was very helpful in healing the relationship and communication between my mom and my sister.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.

Prayer Lesson 8

We are fellow workers with God

The orphanage contacted me, they needed blankets, food and more of the HCQ, Quercetin and Zinc. I told them I didn't have any money but that they should pray. I felt certain that the Lord would not close His ears to their prayers. That same week I learned that a large check had been deposited to my bank because the pension fund had realized they miscalculated and owed me more money. So I contacted the orphanage and asked them to give me the total for what they would need counting everything. The money I had received was enough to pay that so I knew the Lord had answered their prayers. So I wired them the money and told them to let the kids know that God had answered their prayers.

Prayer Lesson 9

Pray to give it your all

Many people pray for their team to win. Don't do that, do this instead: when I was in high school I was on a swim team in the boyscouts. We were swimming a medley relay race and I was the anchor swimming freestyle. This was the first team we were facing. I'm getting psyched up and hoping to have a lead when I go. After our first swimmer was done we were two body lengths behind, so at this point I am no longer hoping for a lead but hoping that it will be even and so I get psyched up more. However, when the second leg of the race was over we were four body lengths behind. So now I know they will have the lead, but I am still hoping that our third leg will cut into their lead, maybe cut it in half so I have a chance. However, as he is coming to the wall it is clear he also gave up two body lengths and now I am six body lengths behind. There is no chance to win, however, my opponent knows this and I realize that might give me a chance. So I tell the Lord, I will swim the first half the way I planned and if I have a chance I'll lay it all out in the second half. However, as I was swimming the first leg it occurred to me, "how will I know if I have a chance"? I can't see the other swimmer, I have no idea how much I have gained on him if at all. Now unlike all the other swimmers in this race I had always swum in the ocean and not in a pool. As a result I didn't do a flip turn I did an open turn. That means I would grab the wall and then push off coming out of the water and getting a really good opportunity to breath. It also meant that I looked very unprofessional and the other members of the team were protesting my being the anchor (even though there were trials and I had won those). Anyway, as I make this turn the coach of the team was right in my face yelling to "go, go, go". That was an answer to my prayer, I asked the Lord how I would know if I had a chance, here it was this guy seems to think I do. So I didn't take another breath. This made me desperate to breath and the more desperate I got the more I swam furiously. All I was thinking was "touch wall, breathe". I was terrified I wouldn't make it to the wall and if I tried to take a breath before that I would come to a complete stop in the water. I could tell I had caught up to the other swimmer, you can see the white water from them kicking. So how embarrassing to be so close and then just stop. I also knew that I could easily drown if I gulped in a mouth full of water. I touched the wall, I breathed and I was exhausted. Utterly exhausted. In my whole life I had never been that exhausted before. For the first time in my life I didn't care if we had won or lost, I knew I had given it everything I had. For the first time I understood the saying "it is not whether you win or lose, it is how you play the game". They were taking a long time to figure out who won so I knew it was very close, but I didn't care. However, in the end we did win.

That ended the "rebellion". After that first race in every subsequent race I was handed a solid lead and we went on to be undefeated.

Let me give you another example. There is a receiver in football, I'll call him David. He was a special teams player in the NFL. He was no superstar, but still it is no small thing to make it to the NFL. He was arrested for selling drugs. He could have been kicked off the team and he knew it was all his fault. However, he confessed, he repented and his coach felt he was truly repentant and so he didn't kick him off the team. This team went to the Superbowl and before the game he was praying. The Lord told him he would give him hinds feet and he would give him spiritual glue on his hands. In the Superbowl David Tyree caught a touchdown pass and he made one of the all time great catches called "the helmet catch".

This is how you should pray. If you are competing pray that the Lord would be with you so that you could give it everything you have. If you are praying for someone else you can pray they would have hinds feet, or spiritual glue, or whatever attribute they need. I learned this about David Tyree because he shared his testimony. That is ultimately what we should pray, that God would be glorified, that His name would be glorified.

Exposing the lies

Two years ago saying the Vaccinated can spread COVID was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying the Vaccinated are susceptible to new variants and reinfection was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying the Vaccine can cause blood clots was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there would be a third and fourth shot was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there would be new shots every year/half year was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there would be shots for young people was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there would be a total segregation of the society was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there would be camps for the unvaccinated was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying the unvaccinated would be unable to work was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there would be harder access of medical care for the unvaccinated was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

Two years ago saying there were secret contracts between Pfizer and the governments was called a hoax, today we know it is truth.

So why all these lies about the vaccine?

There are theories which have some evidence to them but to my mind have not been fully proven. Some think the purpose of the vaccine is to sterilize the world.

However, there is another reason which I think we have recently had confirmed. They are selling the idea for the vaccine passport. That it is crucial for the health of the world that we only allow vaccinated people to travel about.

We have discovered that governments around the world track and spy on all their citizens using their smart phones. So we know this is a goal of the government. The vaccine passport just gives them more power, more control and makes it so much easier to deal with anyone who disagrees with them.

Be not many masters / teachers

3 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

This is what we today would call a talking head. The expert on the TV that tells the rest of us what is true and what isn't. Dr. Fauci was one of these talking heads. People acted based on his words and as a result many people died who didn't have to die. There is no dispute that the actions taken during the pandemic caused many negative effects. Drug overdoses, suicides, mental health problems, developmental problems as well as those who died from mistreatment that was prescribed by Fauci. Who gets the greater condemnation, Fauci who told people what to do or Cuomo who did what he was told?

It is easy for us to point the finger at others, so let's apply this to ourselves. Too many have taken on this authoritative mantle of "expert" concerning the Bible. They will tell you how long the tribulation is even though there is no verse in the Bible that tells us that. They will speak authoritatively like an expert on many things concerning our eternal salvation. Where we end up in eternity is far more significant than whether or not we die from Covid.

We do have masters, we do have experts that have been given to us. Jesus and the apostles. The fellowship of the apostles, that is the word from our experts. Every one of us is required to study to show ourselves approved. Why didn't Desantis listen to Fauci? I will not presume to speak on his behalf, however he did not follow Fauci's dictates and as a result he suffered much attack. However, two years later everyone could see that Florida came through the storm of the pandemic better than just about any other state.

The tongue is full of deadly poison

3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

What was election fraud? Bits were put into the horses mouth that they would obey those who were stealing the election. Maybe they were paid to stuff ballots. Maybe they printed up or filled out phony ballots. Maybe they were working doing ballot harvesting. In the end it took a lot of "horse power", people laboring to steal the election and all those people were simply following orders. Why is it that the main stream media are all repeating the same talking points? They also have "bits in their mouth" that turn about the entire network to go wherever the rider wants them to go.

4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

Why did all of NY state or Michigan put sick people into nursing homes where they would infect everyone else? The state is like a ship and the governor turns the rudder wherever he wants to go. Why did they mandate the vaccine? Why did people lose their jobs if they weren't vaccinated? The state and Federal government are like giant ships that go wherever the governor wants them to go.

5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

The world has been set on fire by this pandemic. The economy is collapsing, inflation is running rampant, people in Europe will freeze, people in developing countries will starve, and when you look at the loony tunes who are doing all the speaking in our country you realize this fire was set on fire by the fires of hell.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

They are trying to tame the tongue on social media. They want to censor hate speech. But just the other day Rhode Island passed a law that "misgendering a person" is "hate speech". If you call someone "Mr." and in fact he is now going by "Mx" well that little mistake is now a crime! If Trump says to go peacefully and lawfully protest and let your voice be heard is a crime and incitement to violence but Maxine Waters telling people to get into the faces of her political opponents and harass them while they eat is not.

No fountain can yield both salt water and fresh

9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

Apply this to ourselves, we are not here to judge but to witness. We are not here to condemn but to share life. You cannot share the gospel of salvation for all men while at the same time being political and saying one group is right and the other is condemned to hell. It is one thing to debate over issues and the proper path to take. It is another to condemn one another as "racists", "elitists", "deplorables", "Communists", etc.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Are you a servant of the Lord in the gospel of Jesus Christ? Or are you a politician?

Who is wise

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

All of these political debates are based on people who assume that they are wise. Why do you attack those who support Trump? Because you think you are wise. Why do you attack "leftists" and call them commies? Because you think you are wise.

The way to show people you are wise is to demonstrate it with your works. Think about Michael Burry. Everyone thought he was a fool and an idiot. He didn't convince anyone by his words, he convinced them of his wisdom by his works.

Lie not against the truth

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

We call this "leftist tears" or "right wing tears" etc. We see various people melt down when they don't get what they want. They are like little children throwing a temper tantrum.

For example, suppose you are a Christian who feels Biden stole the election in 2020. Do you believe that all things are done under the sovereignty of Jesus? If so, no reason to have a melt down. Many Christians have become much more serious about praying for our country since that election, that is only one very positive effect.

Likewise with inflation, the border invasion and the threat of WWIII. These things are causing many people in this country to repent, confess their sins and turn to the Lord who is the savior. Our goal as ambassadors of the kingdom of the heavens is not that the US would be the sole superpower or live in the lap of luxury. Our goal is that as many people as possible on this globe would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Wars, famines and pestilence are all extremely effective at turning people to pray to the lord for salvation.

Them that make peace

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

1. I support doing an audit of the election in all 50 states. Why not? If we can send $100 billion to Ukraine certainly we can spend $100 million to audit all our elections. This isn't pro republican or pro democrat. We have had very notable democrats and republicans allege that our election system is corrupt. Time for a complete audit and that is not simply of the process but lets check our voter rolls and do a canvass as well. This means we verify that if one address is used for 20 mail in ballots that 20 registered voters live at that address. You can't have a democracy if people don't trust the elections. This will be far cheaper in the long run than a civil war.

2. I support any immigration laws that the US government wishes to pass. However, I think we do need to complete the wall to make it easier for these laws to administered. I realize that Trump was insulting in what he said, however we all must admit that drugs are being brought across our border which are killing our citizens. We can't expect to stop that and human trafficking if we don't control our border. Completing the wall will be a very small cost compared to the $100 billion sent to Ukraine to defend their border.

3. Many people are concerned about climate change and greenhouse gases. Just like election fraud I think you have to listen to these concerns regardless of whether or not you share their concern. So, my suggestion is you undo all the laws that stopped US full spectrum energy dominance. This does not increase greenhouse gases. If we don't produce this energy other countries will and they will do it far dirtier than us. Second, we need to make the development of Fusion our next major national goal like the moon program was or like the Federal highway system was during Eisenhower. Fusion is feasible and is the full solution to our energy crisis. We now have AI and quantum computers, we can solve this problem just like we mapped the human genome.

Proverbs 17:1-5 Gaslighting

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which a person or a group covertly sows seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or group, making them question their own memory, perception, or judgment.[1] It may evoke changes in them such as cognitive dissonance or low self-esteem, rendering the victim additionally dependent on the gaslighter for emotional support and validation. Using denial, misdirection, contradiction, and misinformation, gaslighting involves attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim's beliefs.

Instances can range from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents occurred, to belittling the victim's emotions and feelings, to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim. The goal of gaslighting is to gradually undermine the victim's confidence in their own ability to distinguish truth from falsehood, right from wrong, or reality from delusion, thereby rendering the individual or group pathologically dependent on the gaslighter for their thinking and feelings.

Signs and methods[edit]
As described by Patricia Evans, seven "warning signs" of gaslighting are the observed abuser's:[25]

  1. Withholding information from the victim;
  2. Countering information to fit the abuser's perspective;
  3. Discounting information;
  4. Using verbal abuse, usually in the form of jokes;
  5. Blocking and diverting the victim's attention from outside sources;
  6. Trivializing ("minimising") the victim's worth; and,
  7. Undermining the victim by gradually weakening them and their thought processes.
1 Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.

This is the fork in the road, this is your choice in the election. You can have a dry crust of bread with peace and quiet or you can have a house full of feasting with strife. However, they will withhold the information about the strife and make the choice “dry crust of bread or house full of feasting”. When the more prudent and wise point out the risk of strife they will discount that. We had the perfect example in this last election. Salaries will go up, everyone gets free medical care, we’ll get rid of the pandemic and the rich will pay for everything. You were promised a house full of feasting. But when you arrive to celebrate this new regime what do you see? A total lockdown of the city, 25,000 troops stationed in Washington DC, fences and barbed wire. The border is thrown open with a crisis down there. They bust the budget with $6 trillion in spending and they are just getting started. You were told you would get $2,000 on day one, then you were told that this included the $600 you already got, and then you learned that many people were exempt. Meanwhile they were pushing the biggest tax hike in US history. The feasting we had as a result of a $5 trillion dollar bill and another 1.5 trillion bill is inflation. Even people making 100k a year are finding it difficult to cover their expenses with their paychecks. That is 85% of the country is struggling. We are seeing mass layoffs, we are seeing a border overrun, and we are seeing the threat of WWIII. We got a house full of feasting with a whole lot of strife.

2 A prudent servant will rule over a disgraceful son and will share the inheritance as one of the family.

Wisdom and prudence will trump your birthright. The US has a birthright, but if you behave disgracefully you can be replaced by those countries who are currently your “servant” because they are prudent and wise.

3 The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart.

How many times have I heard that “the Lord is in control”. Yes, the Lord is in control of the furnace and He is testing your heart. Are you going to behave disgracefully? That is a test of your heart. Are you going to allow yourself to be gaslit? That is a test of your heart.

4 A wicked person listens to deceitful lips; a liar pays attention to a destructive tongue.

I talked to a con man once and this was his strategy. Wicked people listen to deceitful lips. He wanted wicked people as his clients because once they had been conned they wouldn’t sue him. If you reel them in with a temptation to do something wicked, in order to testify against you in court they will have to reveal this.

5 Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.

Again, go back to what gaslighting is. They verbally abuse the victims. You were a victim due to your own stupidity, not due to their corruption and evil intent. Many who were conned during the mortgage meltdown blamed themselves, their own stupidity. That is true, they did make a mistake, but it doesn’t absolve the lawyers and bankers who violated their fiduciary responsibility. Why does Clinton call the Trump supporters “deplorable” why does Biden call them “chumps”. They are mocking them. Clinton said they were “irredeemable”. She is showing contempt for their maker. They gloated over the riot at the capitol because it gave them an excuse to blame these people appealing for justice while at the same time denying them justice. They will not go unpunished.
