Proverbs 17:27-28 Words of restraint and understanding

27 The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.

So these ones who are not restrained, they apparently do not have knowledge. Likening the protestors on January 6 to Nazi’s, likening Republican voters to ISIS. There is no restraint in that speech. They are trying to create an alternate reality, but this will now collapse. They are in power, they control the senate and executive branches of government. They will own everything that they do and those who chose a house full of feasting with strife, they will regret what they have chosen.

But what about us? Use words of restraint, don't get riled up and accuse others of all kinds of things. They may just be asleep, occupied with other things, and not paying attention. Know this, Facebook is well connected to the Biden administration and they definitely want to round up people and punish them for disagreeing with them. One man posted something on Facebook where he disagreed with something AOC said and the police came and knocked on his door to question him. Georgia passed election integrity laws and they punished them by pulling the All Star game, that could easily cost them $100 million in lost business. The goal is to open people's eyes without giving an excuse for those who are foaming at the mouth to bite you.

28 Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.

Be careful what you post online. Be prudent, be wise, but don’t be a coward. Don’t be disgraceful. Don’t be spineless. Walk the narrow path that leads to life.

The Tribulation is coming

5 Come now, ye rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and your silver are rusted; and their rust shall be for a testimony [a]against you, and shall eat your flesh as fire. Ye have laid up your treasure in the last days.

The state of the world's economy:

1. We have a real estate bubble that has already popped in China that is 2-3x bigger than 2008.

2. We have worldwide inflation that is about to get worse.

3. Deaths have skyrocketed, tied to the vaccine.

4. Birth rates have plummeted also tied to the vaccine.

5. Interest rates have jump dramatically in the last six months and will continue to go higher. This is crashing the banking industry as no one can afford a car loan or mortgage.

6. The FTX fraud was worse than Bernie Madoff.

7. Car market will see massive layoffs, Tech industry is seeing massive layoffs, the retail industry is seeing massive layoffs.

8. Recent "good news" that people were spending more was simply due to inflation and in reality people are using credit cards to buy, something that is unsustainable and puts banks at even greater risk of collapse.

9. We are about to have a railway strike and if this is coupled with a lack of diesel and dry river beds we will see the transportation of goods get squeezed to a standstill.

10. There is not enough heating fuel for Europe and they will freeze this winter, likewise in the US inflation will make it very hard for 50% of the country to feed their families and heat their homes.

All of that tells us we will have a great depression and famine and pandemics (as a result of the AIDS inducing vaccines).

However, if this war in Ukraine and threats against Taiwan explode into a full on war the situation will become far worse. If there is not enough food to go around the military will be fed and the common people will starve. We are seeing the world powers fighting over control of the one world currency. You have BRICS vs the West. In that war you need a surprise attack against the US.

The rich lay up treasure and think it will protect them. Imagine you had $10 million in FTX, you would have a hard time worrying about these ten points, you would figure even if the price of food doubles you will be fine. But then you wake up to discover FTX was a scam, those numbers on paper were simply a vanity and $10,000,000 can so easily become $00,000,000. Imagine you had $10 million of Tesla stock, or Amazon.com or Meta? Suppose you had a cushy job working for Twitter or CNN? You laid up treasure in the last days and all of sudden you are out on your ear, your "treasure" is worthless, and you have no skills for the coming tribulation.

The cries of them that reaped have entered the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth

4 Behold, the hire of the laborers who mowed your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth out: and the cries of them that reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure; ye have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous one; he doth not resist you.

At the same time we see a worldwide economic collapse we also see the cries of fraud from around the world. The rich are between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps when they had $10 million half of that was by fraud. They could have paid everyone and still had $5 million. But now they have $0 and they still owe the $5 million and when they can't pay these people will remind us of the French Revolution. What they missed is that the Day of the Lord is also the "day of slaughter". You did not pay the reapers, well now it is time for you to reap what you have sown. You were warned repeatedly to confess and repent of your sins. Repenting of sins means paying people the money you owe them. You don't rob $5 million and then call for amnesty. That is not repentance, that is fraud.

Be patient therefore

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, until the [b]coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until [c]it receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

We see the signs of the end of the age, we see the tribulation beginning, we see the beginning of the collapse of the world's economy, and we see the fraud. But think of it like fruit. Be patient. These are like tomatoes on the vine, yes, they are clearly about to be reaped, but not quite yet. What we should be focused on is establishing our hearts on the word, in the truth of the Lord. Right now you should be doing everything that you can in order to stand, and having done all to stand. Look at Philadelphia, they did not deny the Lord's name and they kept the word of His patience.

Take Job as an example

9 Murmur not, brethren, one against another, that ye be not judged: behold, the judge standeth before the doors. 10 Take, brethren, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spake in the name of the Lord. 11 Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the [d]patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.

I get it, the situation is tough. A year ago my bank account was fat, today it is all gone. Maybe you lost your job. Perhaps the monthly income is not enough to pay the monthly bills. Maybe you have health issues. This is a time of trial and tribulation. But it also means the Lord is at the door and the redemption of our body is at hand. My concern is not about my bank account on earth but the one in the heavens. I am not concerned about my job on earth but whether or not the Lord will say well done good and faithful servant. I'm not concerned about my body wearing out like a garment, I'm concerned that my robes before the Lord will be washed white as snow with the Lord's blood.

The Hallmark of a cult leader

12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by the heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath: but [e]let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay; that ye fall not under judgment.

This is the hallmark of a cult leader, you must swear allegiance to them. Hitler did this to his military. The Antichrist will do this with the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is not simply some new technology implanted into your body so they can track everything you do and decide whether or not you can buy or sell. It requires you to swear allegiance to the Antichrist rule. Settle it in your hearts now, Jesus is Lord, Jesus is the only one I bow the knees to, I would gladly choose death over swearing an oath to Satan or his minions.

Looking at the rapture from a different angle

A standard doctrine of eschatology is that the AntiChrist will be revealed after the restrainer steps aside and the the concept is that this is a reference to the rapture.

So instead of looking for the best day for the rapture why not look for the best day for the Holy Spirit to step aside and allow the Antichrist to be revealed.

I would argue that day is clearly Christmas. It is supposed to be the birthday of the Babylonian God who is a type of the Antichrist.

I would also argue that it is the best day to expose the apostasy. Imagine they wake up to their Christmas tree, and their gifts, and their big meal and discover that every baby under 2 is gone and all the burning Christians are gone and they have exchanged the glory of God for some junk from the mall.

Remember the Lord said "they would be eating and drinking" right up to the rapture. That will happen at Christmas eve parties, at work they will be Friday night, and then everyone will be having parties on Saturday as well.

13 Is any among you suffering? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise. 14 Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, [f]anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.

If you are sick you need to ask the elders to pray for you and you need to examine yourself if you have sinned you need to confess those sins and repent of them. Do that and you will be healed. People need to stop with this "If the Lord wills". Really? Show me in the New Testament where the Lord didn't will to heal someone who came to Him and prayed Him to heal them. When Jesus was asked this question "you can heal me if You will" He said "I will, be healed".

The book of James begins with him saying "If any lacks wisdom pray and it will be given him". The entire book teaches us how to pray and a big part of praying is to be right with the Lord.

17 Elijah was a man of like [g]passions with us, and he prayed [h]fervently that it might not rain; and it rained not on the earth for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again; and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

The entire book of James teaches us about prayer and this is the example that James uses to conclude with. Imagine that you are in Israel and you begin praying that it wouldn't rain. A week goes by, no one cares, a month goes by, still don't care. Two months goes by and now the crops are looking poor, everyone else is praying for rain. Three months goes by and now the King is telling everyone to pray for rain. After six months people will be very angry when they hear you are praying for it not to rain. After a year you will be an enemy of the state. After two years you will have the most despised name in the country. After three years the kings grip on power will begin to weaken. People will begin to turn seeing that there is a curse from God on this land. You will be seen as the ringleader of some evil sect that is praying for God to curse the reign of this evil king and bring the entire country to poverty. However, there will be those who are repenting, confessing and turning to God. After 3 1/2 years Elijah has demonstrated that his faith in God is greater than the entire army of the king and the corrupt establishment. But then when you pray that it will rain again and it does that will be the knockout punch.

Fire falling from heaven was not the knockout punch, that was the kickoff.

This is how you get people to confess their sins, repent and turn to God. This is how you first bind the strong man so that you can plunder his house.

It is easy to see the first half of the 70th week in this story. We kick off the kingdom of the Antichrist with the rapture and then we have three and a half years without rain, three and a half years of prayer and fasting, eventually the whole world sees what a fraud the Antichrist is and they return to the living God.

19 My brethren, if any among you err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 [i]let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

If "any among you"? James is talking about the apostasy. He is talking about Christians who err from the truth. The entire ministry of James was based on his erring from the truth in becoming the leader of the cult of the concision. Galatians describes these Jews that told Christians that they needed to be circumcised in addition to believing in Christ's redemption if they were to be saved. This entire book teaches you how to identify a cult, how to be delivered from a cult and how, once being delivered how to deliver others.

Isaiah 1 The Vision of Isaiah

1 The vision of [the prophet] Isaiah the son of Amoz concerning [the kingdom of] Judah and [its capital] Jerusalem, which he saw [as revealed by God] during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. 2 Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth; For the Lord has spoken: “I have reared and brought up sons, But they have rebelled against Me and have broken away. 3 “The ox [instinctively] knows its owner, And the donkey its master’s feeding trough, But Israel does not know [Me as Lord], My people do not understand.” 4 Ah, sinful nation, A people loaded down with wickedness [with sin, with injustice, with wrongdoing], Offspring of evildoers, Sons who behave corruptly! They have abandoned (rejected) the Lord, They have despised the Holy One of Israel [provoking Him to anger],
They have turned away from Him.

Do you see this vision? God’s people have rebelled against Him, He is being blamed all over the world for the abuses of His people. Imagine that the US and Israel consider themselves to be the people of God and yet they are conducting all kinds of evil, perhaps the CIA is known as the Cocaine Importing Agency among these third world nations, or perhaps they know that their media is censored, their government is a puppet and if a leader tries to defy them then they will get assassinated. Imagine they go to war with these countries for contrived reasons, accusing them of weapons that are not there or crimes they didn’t commit, but the real reason is to seize their oil and natural resources. These people all over the world are raising their voices to God concerning these people who bear His name.

5 Why should you be stricken and punished again [since no change results from it]?

Now imagine that this same country like the US had previously been severely punished for their crimes and abuses of slavery. That Civil War was the most grievous punishment, you would have thought that would have been enough. But they were also severely punished for their financial crimes with the Great depression. At some point these punishments are just not getting the message across.

You [only] continue to rebel. The whole head is sick And the whole heart is faint and sick. 6 From the sole of the foot even to the head There is nothing healthy in the nation’s body, Only bruises, welts, and raw wounds, Not pressed out or bandaged,
Nor softened with oil [as a remedy].

We like to think of the US as being wealthy and a superpower. Yet our inner cities are a crying shame. We often will cite that our public school system is ranked 28th in the world, but that is a gross mischaracterization because public schools in the suburbs are significantly better, probably ranking in the top ten. So if you look specifically at the public schools in the inner city they are much, much worse than 28th. In most countries the public schools perform at about the same level throughout the country but not in the US. You have suburban schools that rank very high, almost as good as any schools in the world, likewise with the private schools that the elite send their kids to, meanwhile the inner city schools are extremely poor, often as poor as some poverty stricken third world nations.

7 Your land lies desolate [because of your disobedience], Your cities are burned with fire, Your fields—strangers are devouring them in your very presence;
It is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

If you couldn’t see it before surely you can see it now. The people responsible for this know that they can never win another election without fraud, so they have thrown the border open to millions of people and they will take care of them with tax dollars (your money) in exchange for them to vote for those who are paying them. In short “strangers are devouring your cities in your very presence”. What an insult. We have people who cannot afford to feed their family and they are putting up illegal immigrants in hotels, giving them phones and transporting them free all over the country. What an insult.

8 The Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem) is left like a [deserted] shelter in a vineyard,
Like a watchman’s hut in a cucumber field, like a besieged city [isolated, surrounded by devastation].

We heard elitists like Don Lemon saying there was no big surge in violence because he didn’t see it when he went out to eat. Then they had a shooting at a baseball game where the CNN reporters were and they had a shooting in a wealthy neighborhood where CNN anchors were eating and all of a sudden they could see it. People living in the inner city have seen it for decades, yet those in charge ignored this as long as it didn’t affect their gated communities. The Christians are the canary in the coal mine crying out a warning.

9 If the Lord of hosts Had not left us a few survivors, We would be like Sodom,
We would be like Gomorrah.

That is right, Isaiah is the prophet that gives us a vision of what it is like prior to the first rapture. The rapture is likened to the days of Noah and to the days of Lot. The only thing that keeps the US from becoming Sodom and Gomorrah are a few "survivors". A survivor is one who has learned from experience to obey the Lord.

Liar

Proverbs 17:4 An evil-doer giveth heed to wicked lips; And a liar giveth ear to a mischievous tongue.

Russian collusion -- why did the media go along with this without questions?
Trump called neo nazis "fine people" -- Anyone who objectively listens to what Trump said knows he was referring to the debate over keeping the statues or tearing them down, not to "neo nazis". But the media jumped on that because "a liar gives ear to a mischievous tongue".
Jussie Smollett -- Why was it that people with common sense like David Chapelle questioned this narrative from day 1? This is an example of an evil doer giving heed to wicked lips and then the media being filled with liars.
Bubba Wallace garage pull -- another example of liars in the media giving ear to a mischievous tongue.
Covington Kids -- ditto
Governor Whitmer Kidnapping plot --
Kavanaugh Tape
Trump PeePee tape
Covid lab leak is a "conspiracy theory"
-- Here we see how attacking the truth and calling a lie is what evil doers do. They employ people with wicked lips and the liars in the media give ear to their stories.
Kavanaugh Rape -- everything about this story shows how evil, how wicked, and what liars they were. One uncorroborated story that was impossible to corroborate and that had been investigated multiple times. This should never have been made public and it should never have been allowed to delay the hearings.
Border agents whipped migrants -- they knew prior to disseminating this story that it was a lie. Everyone responsible for this lie should have been fired.
Steele Dossier
Russian bounties on US soldiers in Afghanistan
Muslim travel ban
Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation
-- It is possible if you are printing a paper or speaking on the TV 24 hours a day to make mistakes. But when every single lie, every single mistake has a political agenda behind it you know these people are wicked and they are liars.
Andrew Cuomo gold standard of dealing with Covid
Trump built cages for migrant kids
Trump tax cuts benefitted only the rich
Cloth masks prevent the spread of Covid

Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the nations,
And will sing praises unto thy name.

Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
3 God, my rock, in him will I take refuge;
My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge;
My saviour, thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call upon Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised:
So shall I be saved from mine enemies.
5 For the waves of death compassed me;
The floods of ungodliness made me afraid:
6 The cords of Sheol were round about me;
The snares of death came upon me.
7 In my distress I called upon Jehovah;
Yea, I called unto my God:
And he heard my voice out of his temple,
And my cry came into his ears.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled,
The foundations of heaven quaked
And were shaken, because he was wroth.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils,
And fire out of his mouth devoured:
Coals were kindled by it.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down;
And thick darkness was under his feet.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly;
Yea, he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him,
Gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
13 At the brightness before him
Coals of fire were kindled.
14 Jehovah thundered from heaven,
And the Most High uttered his voice.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them;
Lightning, and discomfited them.
16 Then the channels of the sea appeared,
The foundations of the world were laid bare,
By the rebuke of Jehovah,
At the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17 He sent from on high, he took me;
He drew me out of many waters;
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy,
From them that hated me; for they were too mighty for me.
19 They came upon me in the day of my calamity;
But Jehovah was my stay.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place;
He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21 Jehovah rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
22 For I have kept the ways of Jehovah,
And have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 For all his ordinances were before me;
And as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
24 I was also perfect toward him;
And I kept myself from mine iniquity.
25 Therefore hath Jehovah recompensed me according to my righteousness,
According to my cleanness in his eyesight.
26 With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful;
With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect;
27 With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure;
And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save;
But thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
29 For thou art my lamp, O Jehovah;
And Jehovah will lighten my darkness.
30 For by thee I run upon a troop;
By my God do I leap over a wall.
31 As for God, his way is perfect:
The word of Jehovah is tried;
He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him.
32 For who is God, save Jehovah?
And who is a rock, save our God?
33 God is my strong fortress;
And he guideth the perfect in his way.
34 He maketh his feet like hinds’ feet,
And setteth me upon my high places.
35 He teacheth my hands to war,
So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation;
And thy gentleness hath made me great.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me;
And my feet have not slipped.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them;
Neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
39 And I have consumed them, and smitten them through, so that they cannot arise:
Yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle;
Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
41 Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me,
That I might cut off them that hate me.
42 They looked, but there was none to save;
Even unto Jehovah, but he answered them not.
43 Then did I beat them small as the dust of the earth,
I did crush them as the mire of the streets, and did spread them abroad.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people;
Thou hast kept me to be the head of the nations:
A people whom I have not known shall serve me.
45 The foreigners shall submit themselves unto me:
As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me.
46 The foreigners shall fade away,
And shall come trembling out of their close places.
47 Jehovah liveth; And blessed be my rock;
And exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
48 Even the God that executeth vengeance for me,
And that bringeth down peoples under me,
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies:
Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me;
Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the nations,
And will sing praises unto thy name.
51 Great deliverance giveth he to his king,
And showeth lovingkindness to his anointed,
To David and to his seed, for evermore.

O give thanks unto Jehovah

1Chronicles 16:8 O give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name;
Make known his doings among the peoples.
9 Sing unto him, sing praises unto him;
Talk ye of all his marvellous works.
10 Glory ye in his holy name;
Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
11 Seek ye Jehovah and his strength;
Seek his face evermore.
12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done,
His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant,
Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 He is Jehovah our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Remember his covenant for ever,
The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
16 The covenant which he made with Abraham,
And his oath unto Isaac,
17 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute,
To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan,
The lot of your inheritance;
19 When ye were but a few men in number,
Yea, very few, and sojourners in it;
20 And they went about from nation to nation,
And from one kingdom to another people.
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong;
Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed ones,
And do my prophets no harm.
23 Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth;
Show forth his salvation from day to day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations,
His marvellous works among all the peoples.
25 For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised:
He also is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols:
But Jehovah made the heavens.
27 Honor and majesty are before him:
Strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples,
Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength;
29 Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name:
Bring an offering, and come before him:
Worship Jehovah in holy array.
30 Tremble before him, all the earth:
The world also is established that it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth.
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;
Let the field exult, and all that is therein;
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before Jehovah;
For he cometh to judge the earth.
34 O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good;
For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.
35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation,
And gather us together and deliver us from the nations,
To give thanks unto thy holy name,
And to triumph in thy praise.
36 Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel,
From everlasting even to everlasting.
And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.

A psalm of thanksgiving for God’s justice.

For the Chief Musician; set to Muth-labben. A Psalm of David.

9:1 I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart;
I will show forth all thy marvellous works.
2 I will be glad and exult in thee;
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High.
3 When mine enemies turn back,
They stumble and perish at thy presence.
4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause;
Thou sittest in the throne judging righteously.
5 Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked;
Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.
6 The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever;
And the cities which thou hast overthrown,
The very remembrance of them is perished.
7 But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever:
He hath prepared his throne for judgment;
8 And he will judge the world in righteousness,
He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness.
9 Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed,
A high tower in times of trouble;
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee;
For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
11 Sing praises to Jehovah, who dwelleth in Zion:
Declare among the people his doings.
12 For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them;
He forgetteth not the cry of the poor.
13 Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah;
Behold my affliction which I suffer of them that hate me,
Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;
14 That I may show forth all thy praise.
In the gates of the daughter of Zion
I will rejoice in thy salvation.
15 The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made:
In the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
16 Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment:
The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah
17 The wicked shall be turned back unto Sheol,
Even all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten,
Nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever.
19 Arise, O Jehovah; let not man prevail:
Let the nations be judged in thy sight.
20 Put them in fear, O Jehovah:
Let the nations know themselves to be but men. Selah

Thanksgiving for deliverance from death.

A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House. A Psalm of David.

30:1 I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast [a]raised me up,
And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O Jehovah my God,
I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol;
Thou hast kept me alive, [b]that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his,
And give thanks to his holy memorial name.
5 For his anger is but for a moment;
[c]His favor is for a life-time:
Weeping [d]may tarry for the night,
But joy cometh in the morning.
6 As for me, I said in my prosperity,
I shall never be moved.
7 Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong:
Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.
8 I cried to thee, O Jehovah;
And unto Jehovah I made supplication:
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit?
Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me:
Jehovah, be thou my helper.
11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing;
Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent.
O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

All men exhorted to praise God.

A Psalm of thanksgiving.

100:1 Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands.
2 Serve Jehovah with gladness:
Come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that Jehovah, he is God:
It is he that hath made us, and we are his;
We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise:
Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.
5 For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness endureth for ever,
And his faithfulness unto all generations.
