Revelation as seen by one who was left behind
Prologue
1:1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place.
I want to take what may be a very unique look at this book. Imagine you are a Christian, the rapture just took place, you are left behind and so you pick up the Bible to read and start with this book, the conclusion to the entire Bible. You read that this book will show you what must soon take place so you realize you need to read this book.
He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
You may not realize it but there have been some angel visitations recently, for example to Vicky Goforth Parnell who has been visited by Gabriel a few times. Now you realize that some of those people who were raptured, they were telling you the truth, they were telling you what they saw, they were telling you the word of God, they were the testimony of Jesus.
3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
This would be a good time for many Christians to repent. Many of them did not read Revelations and even discouraged others from reading it. Many of them would not hear messages concerning Revelation and they refused to take to heart the warnings in Revelation.
Greetings and Doxology
4 John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia:
Again, I am going to look at this as though I were in one of these churches and yet I was left behind.
Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
This would be another good time to repent. You weren't a faithful witness. You were not faithful in warning others that Jesus was coming. This was because you did not spend enough time before the throne in the presence of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
Let this vision sink way down into your spirit. He loves us, He freed us from sins, and we have been made a kingdom of priests to serve His God and Father. So then, what you need to do starting right now is to give all glory and power to Him, for ever and ever, amen.
7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen.
I think this word has special meaning now, as you also are one of those who is mourning because of Him. You knew this but ignored it. But now it is real to you.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
You are now in the end, but that is OK because Jesus is not simply Alpha, He is also Omega. He will be here with you. This tribulation that you are so fearful of, He has chosen to go through it with you.

Revelation -- Adjusting your vision after being left behind
John’s Vision of Christ
1:9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
Yes, the tribulation will be bad, but there are many believers who have gone through tribulation. John was a companion in the suffering, all the apostles were martyred, the church age is filled with martyrs. But whether they were tortured and killed or not everyone who is a follower of the Lord had to take up their cross and follow Him.
10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,
This would be another good opportunity to repent. Where were you on the Lord's day? Were you in the Spirit, or were you at a football game or some other worldly activity? Every time we repent we become more and more aligned with Jesus. That is the goal. We are being trained. If you had allowed the Lord to train you before then you wouldn't be here now, but that is water under the bridge. The fact is that the Lord trained all those who were raptured and now you have a chance to be under the same training, so turn around and see the voice that is speaking to you.
11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”
That is right, believers are not the dead sea. That was a mistake too many Christians make and probably the reason you are still here. We receive from the Lord and we share what we have received with the other believers. You read the word of God and share with others what the Lord speaks to you.
12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
If you haven't seen this before now it is time to see it. We are priests to God, that means we take care of the Temple and this begins with the lampstand. You need light before you can do anything else. Now notice this is not saying that the seven lampstands are all wrong and need to be like this one lampstand. The Lord is moving throughout the earth in a multitude of ways. One person has a burden to work in a soup kitchen, another in a prison ministry, another is a street evangelist, another is writing a blog. Every one of us is a servant of the Lord and is responding to the Lord's call on their life. They do not need me or you to tell them what to do, they answer to the Lord. If you try and tell other believers what they should or should not be doing you are taking the role of the Lord, that is rebellion.
13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.
It is essential that you see that the Lord is in the midst of the lampstands. We are His coworkers, we follow His lead and we do what He commands us to do. Gold is representative of the pure word of God which is the truth. If you are going to be a priest to God make sure you have a golden sash, the word of God, around your chest.
14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
You may be a child in the Lord, all the more reason to have your head covered with the Lord's speaking. He is the one with the wisdom of the ages. A wool head covering is very warm, white as snow is very clean, no stain of sin. If you are firmly underneath the Lord's head covering no one can despise you. They have to go through the Lord before they can get to you. You have been left behind, so forget who you were because regardless of how big and great you might think you were people will simply say "if you were so big why were you left behind". So humble yourself beneath the mighty hand of God.
15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
Once you stop thinking about yourself you can appreciate those feet like bronze glowing in the furnace. You, like the friends of Daniel, will be thrown into the furnace and you have another friend who is going to be in there with you. Perhaps you thought you were so wise that you were able to avoid the furnace while all those obnoxious Christians were foolish. Well, the Lord was in the furnace with them and now they have been raptured to the heavens. So if you are going to follow the Lord you have no option but to shod your feet with the gospel of peace and follow Him into that furnace. They will threaten you to shut up and not speak in Jesus name. But you have shoes that are like bronze, glowing in the furnace, their pathetic threats are not going to stop you. Now you can also hear the sound of rushing waters. You are not alone. There are other wonderful believers in there with you. Don't doubt them thinking "hey, if you were a faithful saint you would have been raptured". Instead say "hallelujah, you have repented just like I did". Because when you are in the furnace nothing sounds better than the sound of rushing water.
16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
The seven stars are the messengers of the church. You need a word, it is in the Lord's hand, you need a word that is specific for what you are going through or about to go through, it is in His hand. And, He has a sharp, double edged sword. He has it, not you. Don't try to be clever, or cute, or witty. He has the light, and it is the light of life. During the tribulation they will try to make it look hopeless, bleak, dark. The fact that you are filled with light and life and joy and hope will be a powerful testimony to them that Jesus is Lord.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
You thought when you were left behind you were dead. Well guess what, Jesus was dead too, and now look, He is alive for ever and ever. You were afraid because you thought you weren't supposed to go through the tribulation. Well, that isn't true, Jesus is the first and the last. Some are first, some are last, but all of them can be filled with Jesus and express Him. He is the one that holds the keys to death and Hades, not Satan, not the Antichrist. Those guys are frauds, they are miserable and misery loves company. The only thing worse than going to hell is being the only one that goes to hell. Satan knows he is going to hell, he wants a consolation prize of taking others with him.
19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
John’s Vision of Christ

Revelation -- Why was I left behind, what is the criteria?
To the Church in Ephesus
2:1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:
The Lord is charging you to write, that can be scary if you were left behind, who are you? You are no-one, simply a person who has been saved and is being obedient to the heavenly call, like Paul, who had been involved in the stoning of Stephen and yet he also was called to speak.
These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.
These are the Lord’s words, not yours.
2 I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.
For the last few years we had many watchmen sounding the alarm of the Lord’s soon return and they were called false prophets and mocked and ridiculed by Christians. The attack was not from unbelievers but from Christians who thought they were standing on the word because the Bible says “no one knows the day or the hour”.
3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
There are a lot of Christians who have endured hardships and assumed they would be raptured. But that is not the criteria.
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.
Your first love was the redeemer. He saved you from your sins. But for some reason many Christians become self righteous and holier than thou. This points to the criteria. You need to love one another, that is the testimony that will tell the world you are the Lord’s disciples. You could never love one another unless you are spending time with the Lord every day as your first love. Who was this first love? He was the good Samaritan, he took you to the Inn, bound up your wounds and gave the money to the inn keeper to take care of you. He is the one who told you to go and do likewise. Those are the three criterial for the rapture.
6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
It is hard to know what the Nicolaitans are, but I think this refers to Mega Churches and the prosperity gospel. Technically it means to climb above the laity, hence self righteous and holier than thou. You might think this is referring to the Catholic church with their papacy, nuns, etc. But what many don’t knows is that the Jesuits have infiltrated all these mega churches, and the are on the board of directors controlling what pastors can and cannot say. Many of these big mega churches are controlled by Freemasons, which are Satanists. So it is easy to believe that the Lord hates their works.
7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
Again, this is not you speaking to the church, it is the Spirit speaking through you. Consider yourself an instrument of righteousness. You are running a race and if you are victorious you get to eat from the tree of life and you get to enter the paradise of God.

Once again, Jesus is the first and the last. This is a relay race, we all have our part and you are running the anchor leg, Jesus is going to be with you. He died and He came to life again and so He can lead you through death and resurrection as well.
9 I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
This is why I think He is referring to these mega churches run by FreeMasons. They claim to be christians, but they aren’t, they are of the synagogue of Satan. This is also why I think they are the “prosperity gospel”. The prosperity gospel is not simply a bless me club, but they slander anyone who doesn’t have gold chains, and luxury cars. According to them if you are not rich you are not blessed, so if you are suffering afflictions and poverty it is because of your lack of faith, etc.
10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.
Remember the vaccine mandates? When they mandated the vaccines there was no proof there was anything wrong with the vaccine. But there was proof that they were lying and disregarding various safeguards. There was plenty of reason to be wary. But two years later the proof was out that the vaccine was horrible. In the same way it is better to suffer their persecution for ten days and be faithful to the Lord than to regret compromising and being a jellyfish for the rest of your life. Also, you can get a victor’s crown! That is no small thing. They are slandering you, if you were right with the Lord you would have been raptured, but now you take a stand for the Lord to be a martyr and you also wind up with a victor’s crown! Hallelujah. That is the best way to shut the mouth of the enemy.
11 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.
What a wonderful promise. Embrace this and you will turn the tribulation into a celebration.
To the Church in Smyrna
8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.
Once again, Jesus is the first and the last. This is a relay race, we all have our part and you are running the anchor leg, Jesus is going to be with you. He died and He came to life again and so He can lead you through death and resurrection as well.

They are slandering you, if you were right with the Lord you would have been raptured, but now you take a stand for the Lord to be a martyr and you also wind up with a victor’s crown! Hallelujah. That is the best way to shut the mouth of the enemy.

This has been a great deceit among many Christians, they equate tolerance with love. If you tolerate someone who is a drug addict that is not love. If you tolerate someone who is going to hell, that is not love. I heard the testimony of a gang member who died and went to hell. When they resuscitated him he said that Christians must be the most hateful people that they know about hell and don’t warn anyone. Now we have these churches with LGBTQ+ pastors. That is what it means to tolerate Jezebel. Some think that the Bible is sexist because it says the elders must be the husband of one wife. However, let’s think about this. They want a woman who doesn’t have a husband to be a pastor, that is sexist. The Bible requires a man and a woman, that is balanced. In the church you have men that need counseling and you have women that need counseling. Sometimes it is more appropriate for a woman to be the counselor, sometimes it is more appropriate for the man to be the counselor.
21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.
One of the most bizarre things I ever heard is that LGBTQ+ community is persecuted and suffer because of their “orientation”. Why? I don’t ever ask someone what their orientation is, why do they feel the need to tell everyone what their orientation is? But here is what is coming, the Russians, the Islamic countries, the Chinese. They will not put up with this LGBTQ stuff. You are about to suffer intensely. Fornication is sin. Sex outside of marriage is irresponsible. We all have the flesh, we all are tempted in one way or another. Put the flesh to death.
23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
There is going to be a very strong judgement on Jezebel, and all the false pastors. It is called the apostasy, they departed from the word of God, they decided they didn’t need to follow this word or that word, so they will be greatly despised. As you have done it will be done to you.
24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, 25 except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
You can be in a church that is run by Freemasons (Satanists) and yet have never learned Satan’s deep secrets. Just like kids can take part in Halloween without knowing about the Satanic rituals associated with that day.

Have you noticed how many new believers got dreams and visions? I believe this is the Lord encouraging them to speak and be witnesses.
I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
This is one of the very ugly things with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, it teaches people to “be like God” rather than to be filled with God. This church is very concerned with their reputation but not with the reality. The pretense is that they are alive, the reality is that they are dead.
2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.
Think about the disciples who slept the night Jesus was arrested. We need to wake up, watch and pray with the Lord. Their deeds were not finished, not until you have gone through the cross and the resurrection. If you are left behind the Lord is telling you that your deeds are not finished.
3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
At the beginning of the Protestan movement they dug into the word, they searched the scripture, they challenged existing doctrines, and they rejected heresies like indulgences. That is how they received and that is what you need to do now when looking into the tribulation and rapture.
4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
So if you are in this church you may know a brother or sister who was raptured. That must cause a sorrow that leads to repentance.
5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
This is a promise to you. Be victorious, walk in white, rejoice that your name is written in the book of life.

7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
There are a lot of Bible teachers, preachers, pastors and evangelists who are not “holy and true”. If you are going to be in this church you need discernment. The best protection against being deceived is Jesus, He is holy and true. The key of David refers to the chief of staff, the guy who lets you see the king. To have Jesus, the one with the key of David means we have access to the throne room of God. This is an evangelizing church, people will try to shut the door on them, but they can’t. People will try to sneak into this church but pray and the Lord will shut the door on them and they can’t get in.
8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
Why are Christians left behind? You are going to see some who seem to have a whole lot of strength left behind. First of all, when God places an open door in front of them they go through it. Second, they are the ones keeping the Lord’s word. You have the apostasy saying that the Bible is out of date and there are words that you don’t have to keep, and then you have those who believe every word is given to us and is profitable for edification. This church keeps the word of God and they have not denied His name. Whenever you compromise with sin, whenever you tolerate Jezebel, you are denying that Jesus is Lord.
9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
Are there people who claim to be Christians attacking you, slandering you, accusing you of being a false prophet? No. Then you aren’t part of this church. That is why you were left behind. Being attacked by the synagogue of Satan is like getting God’s good housekeeping seal of approval.
10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
You were wondering why some were taken and some were left. This is the reason. These ones kept the Lord’s commandments to endure patiently. We were charged to be witnesses, but if you do that you will suffer the insults and slander of the enemy, so you need to endure that patiently.
11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
These ones already have a crown. There is a crown for those who love the Lord’s appearing and there is a crown for those who endure suffering. Ask yourself, do you hope and pray the Lord will return today? If not you are loving the world and that is another reason you were left behind. These ones love the Lord’s appearing, and can’t wait for Him to return.
12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
Many superficial Christians will think that if you are forced to leave the problem is with you. All of these believers were forced to leave and go out before. We have seen issues with the previous five churches. Think of Antipas who was persecuted and killed. He was “against all”. You might think that is his problem, but the Lord called him a faithful witness. Instead the Lord says those who tolerate those things they are the ones with a problem. In Sardis it says He won’t blot their names out of the book of life. Righteous judgement is to do unto you as you have done to others. Sardis excommunicates those who are “against all”.

To the Church in Laodicea
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.
Amen means “so be it”. The Lord said it, we say Amen. Some have a problem with that. This name “laodicea” means that this is the church run by the people, the laity. They have a problem saying Amen to the Lord, they want to decide for themselves what the rules are, they have become Lord. This church is the apostasy, they have left the word of God. They are not a faithful witness, they are not a true witness, and they have a problem saying Amen to the Lord.
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
There are Christians who are hot for the Lord but can also burn others. There are others who are like a cold refreshing drink but may also dampen your fire. We need to learn to all work together and appreciate one another. But the one thing that is horrible is lukewarm.
17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
The rebuke to this church is stronger than to any other. At least with the other churches there is something to appreciate. This church gets nothing but rebuke. How could they think they were rich? We see this with the apostasy, they think that somehow they are superior to all other Christians because they embrace LGBTQ+ as though that is what the Lord meant by love your neighbors as yourself. They poo poo any talk of the rapture or end times prophecies. It is amazing how much of the Bible they disregard and consider irrelevant. If you disrespect the Lord He will disrespect you.
18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
The word of God is fine gold. Refined in the fire is the word that you speak which results in the greatest pushback and attack. It is like “being over the target”. White clothes are a result of being washed in the blood and repenting and confessing your sins. Salve on your eyes is to allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
This is the one church that the Lord says you need to leave. He is not in them, they kicked Him out so if you want to follow the Lord you will need to open the door and leave when He knocks.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
As bad as this church is, if you are victorious over this church you get to sit with the Lord on His throne.
To the Church in Laodicea
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.
Amen means “so be it”. The Lord said it, we say Amen. Some have a problem with that. This name “laodicea” means that this is the church run by the people, the laity. They have a problem saying Amen to the Lord, they want to decide for themselves what the rules are, they have become Lord. This church is the apostasy, they have left the word of God. They are not a faithful witness, they are not a true witness, and they have a problem saying Amen to the Lord.

17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
The rebuke to this church is stronger than to any other. At least with the other churches there is something to appreciate. This church gets nothing but rebuke. How could they think they were rich? We see this with the apostasy, they think that somehow they are superior to all other Christians because they embrace LGBTQ+ as though that is what the Lord meant by love your neighbors as yourself. They poo poo any talk of the rapture or end times prophecies. It is amazing how much of the Bible they disregard and consider irrelevant. If you disrespect the Lord He will disrespect you.
18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
The word of God is fine gold. Refined in the fire is the word that you speak which results in the greatest pushback and attack. It is like “being over the target”. White clothes are a result of being washed in the blood and repenting and confessing your sins. Salve on your eyes is to allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
This is the one church that the Lord says you need to leave. He is not in them, they kicked Him out so if you want to follow the Lord you will need to open the door and leave when He knocks.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
As bad as this church is, if you are victorious over this church you get to sit with the Lord on His throne.
According to this the 144,000 have been sealed, and according to Revelation the angel is told to not damage the Earth until they are sealed. So by telling us they are sealed God is telling us that the angel is no longer restrained from damaging the earth.
Also this says clearly the 144,000 are activated to aid the remnant that is left behind because they did not fully give their hearts to the Lord. This tells me that when the rapture takes place and the restrainer steps aside the Lord sends in the 144,000 to aid the believers who are left behind. Again, we have been alerted that this is set to go, another confirmation to me that AntiChrist will be revealed on Day of Atonement, September 25th, this year.

Revelation as seen by one who was left behind -- Opening the Scroll
1:1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place.
I want to take what may be a very unique look at this book. Imagine you are a Christian, the rapture just took place, you are left behind and so you pick up the Bible to read and start with this book, the conclusion to the entire Bible. You read that this book will show you what must soon take place so you realize you need to read this book. Chapter 4 gives us a vision of what must take place.
The Throne in Heaven
4:1 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
After what? After the seven churches? This is why everyone who expounds on this chapter believes this is opened at the start of the tribulation. I have a different interpretation. I believe that what Revelation is going to show us now is what will happen after the church age, after the pre tribulation rapture, however, you need to know about the scroll with the seven seals, because the sixth and the seventh seal are what are about to happen and haven't been opened yet.
At the same time I understand that the Antichrist is a counterfeit of Christ and so he with the false prophets will have a counterfeit gospel, a counterfeit to the spiritual war, a counterfeit to the famine for the word of God and a counterfeit to the plague of sin. So I do agree with the interpretation that this will happen at the start of the tribulation, but it will be a counterfeit. Instead of the Lamb who was recently slain opening the seals it will be Antichrist after having just been resuscitated. Instead of 24 elders in heaven casting their crowns and saying Jesus is worthy it will be 24 Satanists doing that on earth.
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.
This is why I believe the Antichrist must be a king. So let's return to our perspective, you are a believer who has been left behind, "after these things" you are going to see Antichrist on the throne. Now according to this we have two, God the Father on the Throne and Jesus the son who takes the scroll out of his hand. At this point we have King Charles and apparently we may see someone come to that throne, perhaps after having just been killed and resucitated.
3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne.
Consider King Charles coronation, and all the pomp associated with that. Satan will have a very pompous display.
4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.
We know in other verses that the kings of the earth give Antichrist power, that is a counterfeit of what happens here. That is the point, with Jesus this happened after He rose from the dead, with Antichrist it will happen after the rapture which is the sixth seal being opened.
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.
Satan will have an all seeing eye. Many do not appreciate that the church is the all seeing eye for the Lord Jesus. We are supposed to see things and pray for them. The counterfeit of this is all these cameras they have everywhere with all the other spying devises like your phone that they have.
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:
“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.”
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

My point is that after the rapture takes place those who are left behind will realize they had been blind, they didn't see that Jesus was on the throne opening these seals and moving on the earth. Maybe they gave it lip service, but they didn't see it in reality.
But, after the rapture of the church this will be one of the first things they realize, it happened and they missed it.

If you are left behind then you need a whole new perspective on the Bible. The New Testament reveals that Jesus has opened the title deed to the Earth. This is what it means when we say that Jesus is Lord, a Lord is the owner of the land.
2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
This is what human history is all about. All these emperors, kings, and world rulers vying with each other to be the king of the hill. None were worthy.
3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
Read human history about Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and all the other tyrants and the proper response is to weep much. None of them have been found worthy.
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
When Jesus was in His earthly ministry He told us Abraham was in Hades, not in heaven. But here we see the elders are in heaven. When Jesus was crucified the graves were opened and when He rose from the dead the dead also rose from the grave and walked around the city. When Jesus ascended He took them with them, they were the wave offering that goes to God, the first fruits. Here we learn that they were the elders, like Abraham and the Patriarchs.
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Stephen saw Jesus sitting on the throne and then standing up. He didn’t look like a lamb that had just been slain. What John is seeing here took place right after Jesus crucifixion and resurrection. Jesus appeared to the disciples and then the second time he appeared was a week later. This is because He was the High Priest and had to sanctify the Temple in the heavens. He brought the elders and the priests with Him. This was the first rapture, the first fruits of Barley, the Jews. In Revelation seven is associated with the church. They are the seven lamp stands, they are the seven churches, and there are seven messengers associated with the seven churches. The churches have “horns”, there is a little power given to the church just as sheep can have horns too. The church is also the seven eyes of the Lord, all the various members worldwide praying to the Lord concerning the things they see.
7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. 8 And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
John is going to summarize the entire New Testament in this scroll and it’s seven seals. It all begins with the Lamb who was slain for us and purchased us with His blood. This is what the title deed means, He purchased us, and look at the goal, He wants to make us a kingdom of priests to serve our God. We have a job, God desires us to serve Him, and we will also reign on the earth! This is the gospel in a nutshell.
11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
The Lord has received power, wealth, wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise. He has it all. When you go to pray that that is who you are praying to. When you are being trained to live this life that is who is training you. You have the best teacher, the best coach, the best guide, the best commander.
13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
Ultimately every knee will bow and every tongue proclaim that Jesus is Lord. The praises move like rolling thunder from heaven to the earth, to the sea and to those who are under the earth. This hasn’t happened yet, but it is where we are going. This is the vision you need when you preach the gospel. You don’t need to worry about being rejected because what honor would there be in preaching the gospel if everyone was already proclaiming that Jesus is Lord. You have a chance right now to tell people that Jesus is Lord. Think about the rapture, there is no glory in telling people after the fact, their response will be “you should have told me beforehand”. Well now you have a chance to make up for that. Tell them this very simple gospel message.

Luke 21:34-36 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day comes upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
My son, hear and write these words to WARN MY CHILDREN THAT DARKNESS APPROACHES. This DARKNESS is unlike anything ever seen on earth in modern times. This DARKNESS is thick and has life. It moves and covers the earth, and all that enter it will be crushed by the pressure of evil. Within this thick DARKNESS, death is king. This DARKNESS once fell upon Egypt and took the first born, but this DARKNESS I speak of now will take ALL who are out in it.
My son, tell My children to TRUST IN ME. As I kept the children of Israel safe during that DARKNESS, I will keep those I have marked safe during this DARKNESS. Many will be caught unaware as the DARKNESS approaches, and the evil within will overwhelm them. This DARKNESS is the DEMONIC FORCES that have been loosed during this period of the tribulation. They will consume ALL who walk in the DARKNESS. This DARKNESS will appear as thick black smoke or fog, and will cover the entire earth.
My son, this DARKNESS comes from man wanting to open portals into other dimensions - but instead - open the gates of hell to loose upon the world great evil. My son, continue to warn My children and tell them to prepare - for DARKNESS APPROACHES. SHOUT REPENT NOW! Have your lamps full and your wicks trimmed. This JUDGMENT OF DARKNESS is to wake up My children out of their sleeping and to seek Me in prayer. During this DARKNESS, I will visit my REMNANT and prepare them for what lies ahead. Seek Me in all things and stay on your knees in prayer. DARKNESS APPROACHES - BUT I AM THE LIGHT THAT DISPELS THE DARKNESS!!
