Luke 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
There is a whole lot of disrespect, mocking, and slander given to the evangelists and prophets of the Lord. God hears it and He will deal with it. Right here you see that what you sow you will reap. Those who reject the invitation will be rejected. When that happens there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, but God promises He will not relent.

King Saul is a type of human government based on our own mind, the picture of Saul being a head higher than anyone else hits this point. But see how he is completely befuddled. When he becomes king and wins his first victory others are calling on him to deal with those who were mocking and scoffing at him. But he says today is a victory we won't be killing anyone today. Later when his son works a great victory he wants to have him killed because he ate some honey and the whole of Israel says that Jonathan had wrought a great victory with God and so he will not be killed. When Saul gets the victory and can take full credit, then he has one opinion, but when someone else works with God and gets the victory he is ready to kill them even if it is his son. In that victory Saul had charged the entire army to not eat anything until the victory was over. But then Samuel charges him to not take any spoil from the Amalekites but rather to kill them all and he is the one who is guilty of jumping on the spoil. Jonathan is straightforward in confessing that he ate the honey, but when confronted by Samuel Saul is making up all kinds of stories. This time he is taking the spoil for his army. Then we come to David and the promise that whoever slays Goliath will get his daughter to wife only for Saul to change the conditions of that deal after the victory. Saul's word is not trustworthy, his promises are not kept, he is jealous, he is foolish.
Also I think it is interesting that Saul asks "whose son is this" concerning David. In the previous chapter he hired David to play music for him, that means he is in the same room as David is when he is playing music in his palace. It also means he payed Jesse to negotiated with Jesse for David to come and work for him. Prior to going out into battle David had a private conference with Saul, so Saul certainly knew this was David, the same one that is playing music, the same one who is the son of Jesse.
So to me the phrase "whose son is this" has a different meaning than we might give it today. Because of public school, private school, and all the various schools we do not equate "whose son is this" with "who taught this one". But that is how I understand this. Saul wants to know who taught David how to fight.
When Joe Montana showed how good he was in the NFL people asked "who taught him to play" and the answer was "his father". That didn't make sense, his father was an insurance salesman. But his father had bought some books on how to play quarterback and they treated the explanation as gospel, and his father would play against him when he was young, so for Joe playing his father not that different than David going against Goliath.
Likewise when they asked Larry Bird who taught him how to play he said his father. Again, that was weird, his father didn't know anything about basketball and disliked the game. How could he teach him? Larry explained, once his father came home from work, a pipe had fallen on his feet and they were swollen. They had to take scissors to cut the boots off. The next morning he got up and went back to work. That was the lesson that Larry got from his father.

It gets worse for Saul, he goes against his son, slanders the mother of his son, and ultimately is in league with Doeg, an Edomite. He will do anything to keep power and is consumed with envy for David because he knows that the real kingship is with him. He has the edomite slay 85 of the house of the priest, and David is his son in law, married to his daughter. The insanity of trying to compete with Jesus will drive the antichrist to act insane.
ROCKETS GALORE
Revelation 6:3-4 3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Dream/Vision Received 9/15/2019 at 12:00 a.m. In light of what is currently taking place in the Middle East, I felt it was time to post the dream/vision that the Lord had given me in back 2019. This has not been previously posted. On the night of September 15, 2019, at 12:00 midnight, I was asleep in my bed. My wife was having some difficulty sleeping, so she was silently reading on her phone. I know now that the Lord had kept her awake for a reason - to be a witness and to record what was about to take place. She turned the brightness on her phone all the way down so as not to disturb me. She noticed a short time later at approximately 12:15 a.m., that I began making some movements in my sleep. After a few minutes, she could tell at that point that I was dreaming since the movements had become quick, sharp and abrupt, lifting my arms up and down, and my legs making small sudden, abrupt kicks. I then started making verbal sounds and noises like gasps and short, startled cries. She noted that the sounds had become louder and more distressed like groans and cries. At that point, she was debating whether to wake me up or not as it seemed to her that I was having a very distressing dream or nightmare. Just as she was about to wake me up, she saw that I became very still and motionless, and my breathing had become quick, little, short breaths. She waited and then picked up her phone and noted that it was 12:25 a.m., and then turned it off. After a minute or so of me being fairly still and quiet, she felt my hand reach over and touch her arm. I then asked her if she was awake, and she replied yes and asked if I was okay. I said, "I'm seeing it! I'm seeing it! It's started!" She asked me, What are you seeing? What's started?" I exclaimed, "The war! the war! The war with Iran! I'm seeing it! It's happening right now before my eyes!" She said, "What? You're seeing it?" I exclaimed, "Yes! I don't know how, I was just dreaming it, and now I'm seeing it while I'm awake!" She asked, "So what are you're seeing?" I said, "It's so bad! It's so bad! I can't believe it!" At this point, I began to cry as I started to tell her what I was seeing as it was happening. I cried, "It's so bad! It's just so bad! No! Dear Lord! No! It's too much! It's night. It's dark. I'm seeing hundreds, maybe thousands of rockets flying all over the place! It's so bad! It's unbelievable! At this point, she said I began sobbing and weeping and was overcome with great emotion as I tried to continue telling her what I was seeing. I cried, "There are rockets flying everywhere! They're going in all different directions! I'm up high, up above the Persian Gulf. I'm looking down and see Iran... Iraq.... Israel.... Saudi Arabia.... some other countries. Rockets are flying all over the place! From Iran to Israel and Israel to Iran! From Iran to U.S ships in the Persian Gulf and from the ships to Iran! They're flying back and forth between the ships in the Persian Gulf! I see ships being hit! I see U.S flags that look like they are marking U.S. base locations in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other places. I'm seeing them being hit.... one by one, and then the flag disappears!" She said I then went on like that for several minutes just weeping and sobbing and saying over and over, "I can't believe it! Oh, God, no! Please help! It's so bad! No, no! It's too much to watch! Please God, I can't bear to watch it any more!" I then asked the Lord to please let it stop, and He did. The vision ended. After getting up and walking around for a few minutes and getting a glass of water, I then lied back down on the bed, and we prayed. As I lied there thinking about all I had just seen,
I then I heard the Lord say these words to me - This is it. This is the start.

25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
Very often you hear about love, not too often do you hear about hate. That is an example of how we are not balanced, but Jesus was. Paul shared that he counted all things as dung in order to gain Christ. This is what the Lord is saying here. Bearing your cross means you hate even your own life too. This is what makes life meaningful, that you have something that you are pursuing that is worth more than your life. If you don't have that you are like the story about the "poor little rich girl". All these people who achieve their goals in life and yet are empty and unfulfilled. Tom Brady saying "Is this all there is?" Brad Pitt talking about being empty.
The worst feeling is accomplishing everything you wished for, realizing you are now in hell but not only you, but to make it worse you have encouraged many others to follow you off the cliff.
When you pray about what you want your life to be think of the blessings to Abraham. Yes, I want to be a great nation. Yes, I want to be blessed, yes I want my name to be great, yes I want those who bless me to be blessed and those who curse me to be cursed. But more importantly I want to be a blessing to others and I really would like to be one that brings blessing to all the nations.
Think about Bernie Madoff, perhaps his prayer was to be rich and famous and powerful. He got it, but he is not a great nation, but a cursed nation. He is not blessed but cursed. Those who blessed him got cursed and those who cursed him were not in any way harmed. He certainly was not a blessing to others but a curse.
But Jesus is the one who is truly making a great nation. He is blessed, even by those who hate Christians He is blessed. His name is great, even Muslims and unbelievers revere the name of Jesus. There have been many in history who have cursed the Christians, what happened to them? You had the Jews, gone. You had the Romans, gone. You had the Catholic church, you had one group after another. What about those who blessed the Christians? There was a time when the USA embraced Christians and was called a Christian nation. That was when the US was blessed. Since then the USA has rejected Jesus, the Bible and His words and from that point on we have been cursed.
There are many paths you can take, but only one leads through the cross of Christ, and only that one comes with a seven fold promised blessing.

29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
Think about that! I began this blog in March of 2021. This was about a year after I began it on a different forum. That forum was overrun with atheists who tried to have me shut down. Since the forum did not abide by their rules I left and came here. When I started this blog about the rapture it seemed to me I'd get ten people to visit. Most people would rather see a video than read a blog. A name like "Summary of Bible references" is surely going to discourage most from even looking at this blog. Also, back in 2020 the rapture was something of a forbidden topic, kind of like the third rail in the Subway or the Sabbath at the time of Jesus. Most people avoided touching it. I was inviting mockery, but I was also being obedient, this was the path the Lord said to take. Now we have 320,000 who have read this. Do not walk according to your own imagination. When you say "Jesus is Lord" it means you follow Him wherever He goes.
So then first you have to count the cost, and the cost is that "it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me".
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
Forget that, Gideon had 300 against 135,000. When you are following Jesus those are the kinds of battles you can win.
