We are at war -- our enemies are already destroying our communications satellites.

Because of this the internet could go down at any time.

Therefore I expect this forum and especially this blog will be censored and unavailable. As a result I have created these Pdfs. I recommend you download them to a computer or flash drive.

We have had about 6,000 people visit this site for the first time since I last posted these Pdfs so I am going to post them again. These are here for anyone to download. In a very short time frame the internet will be fully censored of material on the Bible.

For those who love the Lord's appearing

This is only for those who love the Lord's appearing. It is quite similar to the recent Pdfs I have posted but I have added a few things so that it is now 94 pages.

Anyway, do not read this if you are one of those servants that say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,

There are two things being discussed here, the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him.

2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.

The day of the Lord refers to this seven year period prior to the day of judgment. If that had "already come" then many other things like Armageddon and the pouring out of God's wrath would have come as well. This book was written before the book of Revelation by John. People were far less clear about all the various things that must come during that time.

3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

This word that they translate "rebellion" and is often translated as "falling away" or apostasy is defined by Vine's word study:

"a defection, revolt, apostasy," is used in the NT of religious apostasy; in Act 21:21, it is translated "to forsake," lit., "thou teachest apostasy from Moses." In 2Th 2:3 "the falling away" signifies apostasy from the faith. In papyri documents it is used politically of rebels.

First thing is, why does Paul know that a rebellion or falling away must come first? Adonijah proclaiming himself to be king prior to Solomon's coronation is a type and shadow. Abasalom telling everyone that if he were king he would have given the people everything they want and then blowing the trumpet in Hebron is a second example. Ultimately Lucifer and a third of the angels rebelling prior to God creating Adam and Eve is third example.

So then these politicians and other false prophets are just like Absalom. Jesus is too tough, too strict, let them be king and he'll give them welfare, he'll remove the Bible from the schools, get rid of prayer, tell people they can live any way they wish. Absalom was filthy committing fornication with the David's concubines on the roof of the palace. This is the FreeMasons getting on the boards of these Mega Churches and bringing LGBTQ+ presentations to the pulpit. We are seeing this. Many churches no longer receive the word of God as authoritative. I am a Gideon and there are many "churches" who will not receive us because we believe the word of God is inerrant. Instead they claim the book is sexist and out of date. That is rebellion against the incarnate word of God, Jesus Christ, the greater David.

Adonijah proclaims himself to be king and holds a banquet in his honor. Again, that is like the world leaders who think they are the ones in charge and they can simply ignore and reject Jesus Christ, the greater David. Recently a man at a political rally called out "Jesus is Lord" and another "Christ is King". The candidate for president of the United States told those two men they were not welcome and kicked them out. A presidential candidate saying that Christians are not welcome would have been unheard of during the first two hundred years of the US history. The majority of Americans identified as Christian, what candidate for office would reject the majority of voters? But this proves how pervasive is this rebellion. This would not be news in most of the world, in most of the world they have laws against publicly proclaiming Jesus, but that this has spread all the way to the US, that is stunning.

4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

I'm not saying that Kamala Harris is the Antichrist, or that Obama is, but they do exalt themselves over everything that is called God or is worshiped. After the catastrophe of kicking Christians out of her rally Kamala went to a mega church on the Lord's day. You would think that she would have come to be reconciled, but no. She walks in while the worship is going on, like she is the grand poo baa. Then she gets up on the podium and lectures everyone on "the gospel in Luke" as though it is the same as her campaign. She usurps the worship of Jesus to make a campaign speech. Never once does she confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and King. Never once does she confess that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins. That is a requisite test for anyone who is to preach to the church. What we are seeing is clearly the rebellion of Adonijah.

For example, they kick out the Bible and prayer from school nationwide. Why? Well the Federal government did this even though the US constitution does not give authority over school to the Federal government but rather to each state. Second, the amendment that says the Federal government will make no law establishing religion also says they will make no law prohibiting the free worship of a religion. They have violated that amendment. But it is worse. If you go to a public school they will teach Yoga, which involves meditation by chanting the name of one of their gods. They will have courses on the Koran. The only thing they prohibit is the mention of Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lords and King of kings. This is the rebellion of Adonijah and it has come first. The word for exalt himself means to be haughty and insolent towards others.

2 Thessalonians 2: 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Because of this verse many teach that the temple must be built first. That is not true. First, this word does not refer to the Temple as the entire built up complex but rather to the Holy of Holies. If the tabernacle of David were raised this word could also refer to the Holy of holies there as well. However, this word also can refer to any shrine or temple. We consider our Congressional house and Senate to be a "temple" and in their they proclaim themselves to be God and reject Jesus.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

"Where are we at in Jesus timeline?"

This was the answer that she got

Zelensky and Putin -- Nuclear device fired on Ukraine. Zelensky is crying out on TV but there is very little time to respond because then the suitcase nukes in the US begin going off. It was an inside job by the council of 13. The immediate response of all the nations will be to stop sending aid to Ukraine and instead focus on protecting their own borders.

Excellent, I have wanted to know what will immediately precede the rapture. I wasn't sure if this all happened at the same time, but apparently you will have nuclear explosions in Ukraine that tell you the US will be hit immediately. I suspect the US will be hit at Halloween, so this attack in Ukraine may be a day earlier or thereabouts. In fact, it may be the nuclear attack on Ukraine that is the signal the sleeper cells are waiting for.

Further proof that Luke is to those raptured before the tribulation

Matthew 24:15 `Whenever, therefore, ye may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever is reading let him observe)

Mark 13:14 `And when ye may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (whoever is reading let him understand), then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains;

This verse is only in Mark and Matthew, it is not in Luke. This indicates that those raptured prior to the tribulation will not see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place. However, Matthew is to the Jews who will be saved as a nation after this event happens so they will see it, and Mark is to the left behind saints and they may see it too.

The three synoptic gospels

https://westpalmbeachchurchofchrist.com/topical/getting_to_know_bible/gospels.html

Matthew
Audience
It does not take much work to se that the gospel of Matthew was written to a predominantly Jewish audience. There are many Jewish aspects found in Matthew’s gospel that are not found in the other three gospels. In Matthew 1:1 we see that Jesus’ genealogy is traced to David and Abraham, the father of Israel and the keepers of the promise of the Messiah. Being the son of David and the son of Abraham would only matter to the Jewish people since the Messiah was to come from these men. In fact, Matthew constantly refers to Jesus as the Son of David (1:1; 9:27; 12:23; 15:22; 20:30; 21:9,15; 22:42,45).

Further evidence of a Jewish audience is that Matthew records many of the Jewish customs without any explanation about the custom. The other gospel writers explain the Jewish custom. Matthew also contains unique material. For example, much of the sermon on the mount is only found in Matthew’s gospel and not the others. Of course, the sermon on the mount was a correction of Jewish misinterpretations of the law of Moses. Another important unique element is that only the gospel of Matthew speaks about the “kingdom of heaven.” In fact, the phrase “kingdom of heaven” is not found anywhere else in the scriptures, yet is found in Matthew’s gospel 32 times. Only four times does the phrase “kingdom of God” appear in Matthew’s gospel.

Purpose
Matthew has one obvious and straightforward purpose for this gospel: to prove that Jesus is the Messiah, the King of Israel. Matthew has the most quotations from the Old Testament than any of the other gospel writers. The purpose of the numerous quotations is to prove Jesus is the Messiah because Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah. One of many such instances is found in Matthew 1:17, “Then what was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled.” After using these words, a quotation from the Old Testament follows. Of course, only the Jewish people would be concerned that Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah. Matthew offers repeated evidence to prove that Jesus is the King of Israel.

Matthew not only uses prophecies to prove that Jesus is the Messiah but also gives the fullest record of Jesus’ discourses. Five discourses end with the phrase, “when Jesus had finished these sayings” (7:28; 11:1; 13:53; 19:1; 26:1). Therefore, when one is reading the discourses of Jesus, we need to keep this purpose and audience in mind. The audience is the Jewish people so we must think like first century Jews if we are going to proper understand the teachings. We must also consider how the discourses recorded go about proving Jesus to be the king of Israel, the prophesied Messiah.

Mark
Audience
While Matthew had a Jewish audience as his target, Mark had a Roman audience for his gospel. There are a number of reasons why this gospel appears to have been written for the Roman mind. The gospel is the shortest of all the gospels, fitting to the Roman desire for information quickly and succinctly. Mark translates Aramaic words for his readers, showing the Jewish people were not his audience. Further proof if that Mark explains the Jewish customs (7:3,4; 14:12; 15:42).

Of even greater interest, Mark uses Latin expressions rather than Greek counterpart (5:9; 6:27; 12:14,42; 15:16,39). Latin was the language of the Roman people. Mark records time based upon the Roman system of time keeping (6:48; 13:35). Mark does not include information that would not concern the Roman people. For example, there is no genealogy of Jesus. Mark 1:1 begins the gospel, “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” Rather than give a genealogy, Mark uses imperial language of the Roman Empire. The gospel to the Romans was the good tidings concerning a ruler or king. The title “Son of God” was used of the emperor. Mark is not interested in speaking about who begot who, but wants to communicate an important point that would grab the Roman reader’s attention: “Listen to the glad tiding about the king, Jesus, the Emperor of the world.”

Another key found in Mark is that he speaks about the events happening rapidly. This can be seen even in the first chapter of Mark, using the NKJV: “And immediately, coming up from the water” (1:10), “And immediately the Spirit” (1:12) “And immediately they left their nets” (1:18), “And immediately he called them” (1:20), “then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered” (1:21), “just then” (1:23), “And immediately his fame spread” (1:28), “Now as soon as they left” (1:29), “immediately the fever left her” (1:31), “As soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him” (1:42), “sent him away at once” (1:43). All of these words that speed up the story and that was only in the first chapter alone.

Purpose
Mark also has a distinct purpose. Mark has no need to teach the Romans that Jesus is the king of Israel and the prophesied Messiah. The Romans would not care and such information would be meaningless. Many writers suggest that the purpose of this gospel is to show Jesus as the suffering servant. But this is attempt to squeeze the purpose of this gospel into a preconceived notion. The text does not communicate Jesus as the suffering servant. Even further, no one would write a message to the Romans suggesting that the emperor of the world is a suffering servant. That would not fit the Roman mind.

The purpose of Mark’s gospel is to show Jesus is the powerful emperor. With the claim made in the first verse of the gospel that Jesus is the Son of God, the only way to prove him to be the Son of God is to show his accomplishments. The Roman emperors proved their worth to the people by recording and declaring through monuments their many achievements and conquests throughout the world. Mark goes about proving that it is appropriate to see Jesus as the Son of God through his achievements. Thus, Mark’s gospel devotes more time to miracles than any other gospel. Over half of the miracles performed by Jesus are found in the gospel of Mark. Therefore, when we study Mark, we are looking for the action of Jesus’ life which is going to prove to the Roman mind that Jesus is the Son of God. His miracles prove he is ruler of the world.

Luke
Audience
It has long been held that Luke’s gospel was written to the Greeks. This assumption is derived from some of the details Luke gives that are not given in the other gospel accounts. Luke usually would use Greek terminology instead of Hebrew words. One example of this is in Luke 23:33 where Luke calls the place of the crucifixion “Calvary.” The other gospel accounts call the location “Golgotha” (Mark 15:22; Matthew 27:33; John 19:17). The other gospel accounts also use Hebrew words like “Abba,” “rabbi,” and hosanna.” However, Luke does not use these words, either omitting these Jewish words or using Greek equivalents.

Of further interest, Luke does not often quote the Old Testament, which is in sharp contrast to Matthew’s gospel. When Luke does quote from the Old Testament, he uses the Septuagint, which was the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures. Furthermore, there are many details given by Luke’s account not found in the other gospels. With a high respect for philosophy, such detail would be important to the Greek mind. It is for these reasons that it seems reasonable to declare that Luke’s gospel had the Greek mind in view.

Purpose
The purpose of Luke’s gospel is twofold. One purpose is explicitly stated and the other purpose can be inferred from the reading of the text. First, the purpose that Luke explicitly states is found in the first four verses of Luke 1.

“Many have undertaken to compile a narrative about the events that have been fulfilled among us, just as the original eyewitnesses and servants of the word handed them down to us. It also seemed good to me, since I have carefully investigated everything from the very first, to write to you in orderly sequence, most honorable Theophilus, so that you may know the certainty of the things about which you have been instructed” (Luke 1:1-4, HCSB). Luke declares to Theophilus that his intent is to write a narrative in an orderly sequence. Luke is not trying to show that Jesus is the Messiah, the King of Israel, or the Son of God. Luke is giving us a simple picture of the life of Jesus.

We are able to see the implicit purpose of Luke’s gospel in that Luke goes to great lengths to reveal the humanity of Jesus. The first couple chapters of Luke’s gospel is about the birth of John the Baptist, the birth of Jesus, and the childhood of Jesus. The genealogy of Jesus is traced back to Adam. Luke spends much of his time recording the parables of Jesus. Luke repeatedly speaks about the Gentiles, Samaritans, and other outcasts who found grace in the eyes of Jesus. By reading Luke’s gospel, our purpose is to find the narrative of Christ’s life and gain information about his humanity.

Pilate Pronounces Sentence Upon Jesus

3 different accounts in the synoptic gospels

Matthew 27:24–26 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

This part about His blood being upon the Jews and their children is only in Matthew because this gospel is about the salvation of Israel.

Mark 15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

Both Mark and Matthew include the release of Barabbas, but Luke doesn't. Most see all the sins being laid on the Son of the Father, Jesus while "Barabbas -- son of the father" is released as being the situation with the two goats on Day of Atonement. For Christians this reference points to the Lord's crucifixion and to the Jews this points to the Day of Atonement. The seven year period is cut in half at Passover. To me this verse is a hint that the 7 year period ends at the Day of Atonement and the 3 1/2 year great tribulation begins at Passover.

Luke 23:24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

Look how brief it is in the book of Luke. No mention of Barabbas being released so to me this is not a reference to either Atonement or Passover.

They Crucified The King of The Jews

3 different accounts in the synoptic gospels

Every gospel gives this account because every Christian must take up their cross and follow the Lord.

Matthew 27:35–37 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched him there; And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Casting Lots is a reference to the day of Atonement it is only mentioned in Matthew. Parting his garments is a reference to Joseph, and this also is only in Matthew.

Mark 15:25–26 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

This is the most bare bones, there is no reference to Jesus, no reference to his clothes. I think this depicts those left behind. Their robes were spotted so who would want them. They denied the Lord so they are not an expression of Jesus.

Luke 23:33, 37–38 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left… And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

This is the only account that gives us three languages depicting every tribe and people on earth. This is the only account that mentions two malefactors with Jesus. This is the only account with the temptation to save yourself. I believe this is relevant because those who are raptured prior to the tribulation are given the temptation to save themselves but reject it and instead choose to go outside the camp and bear the shame of the Lord with the malefactors. Also they come from every tribe and tongue on earth.

Jesus Feeds Five Thousand

3 different accounts in the synoptic gospels

Matthew 14:21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Mark 6:44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

Luke 9:14–16 For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company. And they did so, and made them all sit down. Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Only in Luke do we hear that Jesus gave the bread and the fish to the disciples to set before the multitude. Luke is written to the faithful servants, those who were distributing to the multitude. Mark and Matthew are to the multitude that were fed.

Jesus Begins His Ministry in Galilee

3 different accounts in the synoptic gospels

Matthew 4:12 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Matthew and Mark note that the ministry begins when John the Baptist is put in prison.

Luke 4:14–15 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

However, in Luke Jesus returns in the power of the Spirit and there is no mention of John the Baptist. This is a reference to His baptism. If you love the Lord you will do His commandments and He commanded us to be "immersed" into the triune God. We are not led by outward events but by the Spirit in us. However for the left behind (Mark) the current events will play a major role in their diving into ministry. Likewise for Israel, once the two witnesses are killed and then raised that will play a major role in their finally confessing that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

Here is a Pdf comparing the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke). I think this is an essential understanding, not realizing these differences is the root cause of many misunderstandings and wrong doctrines.

This Pdf is 29 pages long and puts up verses from the three gospels for comparing and contrasting. This is not all the verses, I will update this tomorrow so that we have a fuller picture. But I do recommend downloading these Pdfs in the event the internet goes down.

When I was teaching science in high school there were two kinds of students. One wanted to know what the answer was. They didn't care to know how you got it, or what the principles were, or how to figure it out. Simply tell them the answer so they can be on their way. The other student wasn't interested in the answer, they wanted to know how you got it, what the principles are, and how they could figure it out for themselves.

God is the one that searches the hearts and that should cause everyone to fear Him. You can't scam Him. If you know the day of the rapture that will not help. Yes, there is a punishment for those who don't care in that they will be caught unawares. But there is nothing that says "since you knew the day I was coming enter into the joy of your Lord".

In the same way there are two types of people who are interested in the rapture. "Tell me the day" is one of them as though that will help them somehow. This is like the adulterous wife, she just wants to know when her husband is coming home so that she doesn't get caught.

The other type loves the Lord. Jesus is the incarnated word of God. So they love every single word. They love the prophecies, they love the dreams, they love the doctrines, they love learning about the feasts, the types and the shadows. They love the entire journey and see the entire thing as an adventure.

Recently I heard from someone complaining that I had been doing this blog since 2020 and "nothing has happened"! To me we have had amazing signs in the heavens, I have learned many prophecies in the Bible and also more recently, and of course many current events. We had a worldwide pandemic with the first ever worldwide shutdown of the economy. We have had an experimental vaccine mandated worldwide in an illegal way, violating international law. We have had 17 million deaths associated with that vaccine with hardly a peep out of the press. We have what looks like the fomenting of a civil war in the US as well as provoking Russia and Iran into nuclear war. We have had the coronation of King Charles, the creepiest and most satanic coronation imaginable. We have had the UN approve the Pact for the Future described as the single most important covenant the UN has made while the Main Stream media is virtually silent. We also have had what are the two most bizarre candidates running for US president we have ever seen as well as two assassination attempts on one of them. The Psalm 83 war appears to have just been fulfilled and no one would be surprised if Isaiah 17 destruction of Damascus were to happen tomorrow. Meanwhile everything seems in place and primed for the collapse of the US dollar. Also AI has burst onto the scenes in these four years. Just four years ago it still seemed like science fiction. Now, it seems AI will take every white collar job from college graduates next June. We also have robots that can do blue collar jobs. The war is being fought with AI, drones, and missiles. So you can imagine how stunned I was that anyone could say "nothing has happened".

But what is really amazing about this is that it is also the fulfillment of prophecy. We are on the brink of the biggest events in all of human history and yet most people are clueless.

Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

The two biggest questions concerning "when is the rapture" that everyone should be able to answer.

1. What year

and

2. What season.

Jesus never said that no one knew the year or the season. Personally I think the season is the easiest, it is harvest time. Anyone who reads the book of Revelation will immediately see many references to harvest time. "Thrust in the sickle and reap", "Tribulation" (an instrument used in threshing wheat), and "gleanings" are just three that immediately come to mind. To me the most precise prophecy is in Jeremiah, "the summer is over and we are not saved". At the end of summer which is the harvest festival is when the rapture takes place.

How about the year. Well there are prophesies in Ezekiel and Leviticus you can use if you know the year that Jesus was crucified and I believe we can know that precisely based on NT prophesies.

However, I have another, much simpler way to do it which agrees with the same year.

A Jubilee year is the 50th year, which is also the first year of a Shemitah, a "week" of years. A Shemitah begins on Rosh Hashanah and is a seven year period. On a Jubilee year it will be declared that Jerusalem belongs to the Jews. In 1917 The Balfour agreement declared this, in 1967 the Jews regained Jerusalem and in 2017 the US and two other countries declared this. To me this is proof that 2017 was a Jubilee year and also the first year of a Shemitah. That means Rosh Hashanah in 2024 (October 2) was also the first year of a Shemitah year. I believe that the 70th week of Daniel refers to a Shemitah year that will begin on Rosh Hashanah. On October 2 the UN approved the Pact for the Future which I believe is the covenant with the many that Daniel says takes place at the beginning of the 70th week. If this is the start of the 70th week it will end in 2031 which aligns with my calculation that Jesus was crucified in 31 AD.

However, this would also mean that if this were not the year that the 70th week does not begin for another 7 years. I don't believe that. Instead I think October 7, 2023 was when Israel went into labor. There is no going back until the baby is born.

It will be as the days of Noah

I think this has been misinterpreted slightly. The name Noah is the same word for grace if read in reverse. We are in the age of grace, so I feel we should read the days of Noah in reverse. Once the 70th week begins then yes, read them forwards again, which is what most people do. However, they have missed the fact that the entire age of grace is like the days of Noah and not simply the last seven years.

When the ark rested on the mountain that means "reverse the curse" was the day Jesus resurrected from the dead. Now, go in reverse. The entire church age was when the church (the seven) was in the ark with Jesus (Noah) going through the flood. The day the flood begins will be the day of the rapture where some saints will be raptured to he hidden in the heavenly chamber for seven days. Meanwhile it will be the time when all believers who were not in the ark with Jesus to then go through the flood with Jesus during the tribulation.

At the end of the seven years you will have Armageddon, which will be like the day that Methuselah died. The day the old man and the flesh dies.

Amos speaks of the rapture

Amos 5:1 Hear this word, Israel, this lament I take up concerning you:

How many talk about the rapture as a lament? The fact is the Bible does at least 50% of the time so why don't the Bible expositors? This chapter is crystal clear in talking about the rapture as one of the days of Noah, and yet, it seems few will talk about this. They do talk about the "left behind" and some do talk about "the apostasy". Israel is a reference to the "prince of God" and so this is how God disciplines His children to rule and reign with Him.

2 “Fallen is Virgin Israel,
never to rise again,
deserted in her own land,
with no one to lift her up.”

What about the word that a three fold cord is not easily broken and when two walk if one fall into the ditch the other will pull them out? Apparently Israel has chosen evil companionship, they will not lift her up. They despise her and are envious of her. They pretended to be your friend so they could plunder you and bring you down.

3 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Israel:

This word is to Israel when the nation was divided into two, the southern kingdom was called Judah, and the northern kingdom was called Israel. Today God's people are also divided into two nations, the northern kingdom is the USA and the southern kingdom is Israel. So then I will be applying this word to the USA. "Fallen is the virgin of Israel" is a reference to the church in the USA.

“Your city that marches out a thousand strong
will have only a hundred left;
your town that marches out a hundred strong
will have only ten left.”

Your army is not composed of virgins. So this is a reference to the people of the USA. We have a powerful military. Our military was victorious in WW1 and WW2. But people aren't stupid, they took the US for granted in WW1 and later regretted it. Then in WW2 they tried to keep the US on the sidelines and when it became clear that wouldn't happen they thought they could cripple her with a surprise attack at Pearl Harbor. They were shocked at how quickly the US bounced back from what would have been a crippling attack to Japan or Germany. So this time when they attack it will be devastating. They won't decimate the US, that is only 10%, this will be the opposite of decimate, they will leave 10% and wipe out 90%.

Amos speaks of the rapture, part 2

4 This is what the Lord says to Israel:

Judgment must begin at the house of God.

“Seek me and live;

What should we do? So simple, seek the Lord Jesus, that is it. He is the king of kings and Lord of Lords. When the angels and demons are released they will attack all who are not marked out by the Lord Jesus, so seek Him and live.

5 do not seek Bethel,
do not go to Gilgal,
do not journey to Beersheba.
For Gilgal will surely go into exile,
and Bethel will be reduced to nothing.”

Bethel is where Jeroboam set up an idol so that the northern kingdom would not return to Jerusalem. This is when Israel was first divided. So it represents the protestant reformation and all the established denominations. Do not go to Gilgal. According to Amos and Hosea Gilgal is more wicked and evil than Bethel. They liken their sin to adultery and say they sacrifice to bulls (that is the worship of Moloch). These would be the LGBTQ+ churches like the Anglican and Episcopalian. Amos likens Beersheba to Samaria, a land where the worship of God was mixed with pagan worship. This is the Catholic church, they introduce pagan worship like Christmas and Easter and try to mix it with the worship of the Lord.

6 Seek the Lord and live,
or he will sweep through the tribes of Joseph like a fire;
it will devour them,
and Bethel will have no one to quench it.

Now he calls Israel "the tribes of Joseph". Joseph's sons were Manasseh and Ephraim. If you study the blessing that Jacob gave to Manasseh and Ephraim it is the blessing to scientists. The US is the nation of the leading scientists. But that was only because many Jewish scientists fled Germany during the prelude to WW2. Manasseh the older brother represents Germany and Ephraim the younger brother who becomes greater than Manasseh represents the US. Often the northern kingdom of Israel is referred to as Ephraim. Only a small portion of Americans are scientists and yet we know it is the fundamental reason the US is so successful. What is about to happen will sweep through the churches in the US. That is because once the rapture takes place all those who are left behind will feel deceived by the church for not telling them about this and deceiving them. They will be killed like the 400 prophets of Baal that Elijah killed after fire fell on his altar.

7 There are those who turn justice into bitterness
and cast righteousness to the ground.

The weaponization of the DOJ. People who twist the word of God. Think of Kamala Harris. The day after telling someone who said Jesus is Lord, and Christ is king to get out of her rally, she goes into a church, speaks from the pulpit and makes it sound like the gospel of Luke is one and the same with her campaign. When you weaponize the DOJ, and when a church will let someone who rejects Jesus Christ to speak from the pulpit, then you know that justice is weaponized and turned into bitterness. You know that the same person who trampled the name of Jesus Christ, and insulted the blood of His sacrifice is now given a platform to speak to the congregation. That is precisely what the apostasy is in a nutshell.

8 He who made the Pleiades and Orion,
who turns midnight into dawn
and darkens day into night,
who calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out over the face of the land—
the Lord is his name.

This is a direct reference to the days of Noah. The flood began when the Pleiades was at its Zenith and ended when God loosened the belt of Orion. The day the flood begins will be the day the judgement on the apostasy begins and what will cause this is the rapture. Apparently God removed two stars from Pleiades, that is the rapture, and then the flood began.

9 With a blinding flash he destroys the stronghold
and brings the fortified city to ruin.

This is a direct reference to the days of Lot and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. So you can see just like Jesus saying the rapture "will be like the days of Noah and like the days of Lot" that is straight from the prophet Amos talking about the judgment on the apostasy.
