A lil view of God's power,
i stand in awe, with adrenaline pumping
i stand boldly before my Friend, knowing I'm pushing my luck with lightning all around. I know He knows I'd rather be there with Him so not worried bc His Word has not been fulfilled in my life yet.
catching glimpses of flashing bolts, near or far as long as the atmosphere rumbles His Authority
i stand in awe of Your majesty Father, and I thank you for thunderstorms!

kinda cheesy but off the top of my head. Some day I'll have a wife that could dress my thoughts up a lil.

i usually do go out and watch thunderstorms, not today= it's a lil cold to be cold and wet :(

Thanks for sharing. :) It's amazing that God is so powerful yet can be so gentle. Also, I think lightning references in Scripture are interesting. Here are a few:

“For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
**Matthew‬ *24:27‬ *NKJV‬‬

“And the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning.”
**Ezekiel‬ *1:14‬ *NKJV‬‬

“And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.”
**Matthew‬ *28:2-4‬ *NKJV‬‬

Lightning and thunderstorms are God's fireworks in the sky. Simply awesome!
