No and I wouldnt even want to try. However abortion is murder, no matter what the reason. I have talked to many, many women who have had abortions and the majority of them regret it. The percentage of those who regret it is so high, that the government will NEVER let it be known how high it is. Every Christian I know, myself included, who had an abortion, regrets it every single day and would give their own life to take it back.

I have also talked to women who were raped, victims of incest and impregnated by their attackers and chose to have their babies. NOT ONE, that I have ever talked to has ever regretted having that child, whether they kept the child or not.

I know this is not a question you asked me but someone else but i do have this to say.
NO ONE can play the part of God, BUT people can try & once that happens i know they Get God angry.
For example how .... scientist are trying to clone humans & animals.
That right there would fall in the category were they were TRYING to play God which they NEVER can.

But couldn't one argue that synthetic drugs used in medicine is "playing God" to an extent?

Debbie, I've finally come to the place where I forgive myself... I received Christs forgiveness in 91 but never forgave myself and satan came in and told me of my sin daily and i truly truly was daily effected by the sadness of being a baby murderer... these are satans words to me by the way. I urge you, just based on you saying you regret it every single day... please forgive yourself now and dont allow satan to whisper those words in your ear daily. Your baby is in the loving arms of the Lord and you will meet her/him one day. I always think of mine as a boy. Anyway I do regret it but I'm no longer so focused on my old sin that it clouds my daily walk with the Lord. We are covered by the righteousness of our Lord and can face God and speak to God as one with Christ's righteousness. When we focus on our pre salvation transgressions this is a big mistake... Instead we should be focusing on the Joy of being filled with the Holy Spirit and using our past to minister to others. I suspect you do this already based on the fact that you've spoken to many who've had abortions. Anyway I've learned I should focus on my freedom in Christs righteousness and in lovingly trying to turn those who are considering abortion from this. I sure wish someone would have counciled me that abortion is not the only option... I know I'm intelligent I could have chosen to keep the baby. I was severely depressed though & alone totally alone in a city with an exboyfriend and only a job and 2 friends to my name. If a loving face would have walked up to me... not shaking a sign and yelling... but would have walked up to me and said, you know there is another way & there is complete support if you chose the other way, I would have considered the alternative. in the 80's pro choice meant they would offer the abortion but not give you resources for the alternate choice. Dont know how it is now but I sure hope its changed since then.

First of all NO ONE can or does play God beside himself who is with us & high above in Heaven.
& just because scientists make medicine with chemicals DON'T make them God.
Plus do you see how they have side effects they just make medicine to earn money.
God does not heal us for stupid money. He heals us because he loves us & because we have faith in him.
This whole scientists not believing in God, Not truly caring about us,& NOT being able to fully heal us, is A reason i have stated in another board before that i dont like taking medicine & have not in a while.
You can feel free to look for that board.
I mention having a molar pulled out, i was prescribed medicine about a week before they pulled it out so it can make the infection go away otherwise it could/would hurt bad. I prayed my mom prayed & guess what i dint need to take that medicine i dint even buy it. God put his hand in my cheek & protected it from feeling bad pain or from hurting =D
Thank God he hears our prayers & protects us with his mighty hand especially when in pain =)
Medicine is just a bunch of chemicals that help you in one way while harming you in another.
With God healing there is NO harm done to your other part of your body.

As for herb teas & so on well it is a plant which God made plants, sure humans plant the seeds to re grow more but if its just a plant i dont see much harm in them, unlike medicine.

I used to not see it that way i used to just think its okay if you are raped or if you have AIDS or something & the baby is going to be born sick/paralized or something.
But once i started reading the bible more & going to church more a long with praying that point of view changed.
Now i think its just better to pray to God that you dont get pregnant if you were raped or if you have a disease for God to please have mercy with the child & please not let him or her have it too or suffor.
Or if you were raped & you are pregnant maybe its best you put the child up for adoption.

Abortion i am now against.
I just read about how they take pills to cause the abortion...
Thats MURDER!!!!!!

Hmmm interesting questions, the "rape" question pops up every single time I've debated this issue with people who don't know that much. There's a quick and simple cure to this bad thinking.

1) We believe that abortion is wrong because it's a human life in question - therefore, not matter where he came he has the right to live.

2) Let's say I had a child who was the product of rape, I felt just plain horrible every time I saw him. So I killed him, at 2 years old. Is that okay? There's no one who believes that's okay, and by pointing that out you've established that rape is not the argument in question. The ONLY question is whether it's a human or not.

Exactly! Plus less then 1% of women get aborions because of rape or incest. So I hate when people even try to use that as an excuse. First of the chances are EXTRODINARILY rare, and either way it is still a human life.

The argument against the whole "rape" thing is as follows: The woman when raped is the victim. The raped woman when aborting then goes from victim to murderer & its far easier to forgive someone else than to forgive oneself.

I wonder if there are any scriptures in the Bible which tell us that it is a sin to abort a baby from a mother who had been raped. Unless there is, you have no right to judge or critic this kind of abortion.

As a Christian, we should love one another. Even if the mother goes through an abortion, we should respect her decision. God loves and forgives although it is not the mother's fault that she is pregnant. The mother has to face difficulties in life especially after being raped. Some mothers would not be able to handle carrying the child because everyone is different. Some people are emotionally weak than the others. We can give them options, whether to keep or abort, but then we should also respect their decision. We should understand what they are going through. After all, that is what Christianity is about. To help others who are going through difficulties in life. To love them no matter what mistakes they have done. To forgive them, and not hate.

If every Christian shows these good qualities to others, then more people would honor God and Jesus.

It's not a question that has multiple answers. Christians now a days are looking for loopholes to get around sin. Sin is black and white, clear as day. We know what sin is, and we are called to have nothing to do with it. Aborting a baby is sin, it doesn't matter what the circumstances are. You just go from a victim to a murderer.
