Nope....not married in the sight of God.

I know several scriptures right off the top of my head that say otherwise....I believe someone has already posted them.

The children are fornicating. Nothing more or less.

There has been no giving of the bride and no exchange of commitment in front of witnesses....meaning no marriage.
Fornication means to have sex with more than your one. Hence it is better for them to not be rent asunder

Once a thief always a thief? As if there is no forgiveness at the Cross....They are not a man and woman they are kids.

Psa 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
Psa 103:9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
Psa 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Psa 103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Psa 103:13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
Psa 103:14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

His forgiveness is every bit as much Scripture as His thou shall nots

How thankful for His Grace, His forgiveness, at our repentance
They already married and are now going to have a child.

Sex is the marriage.
A raped women/girl is now married to the scum bag? The child who is molested by Uncle Joe is now married to him? Who is the girl who is gang raped married too?
Are a couple married, by the officals , really married if for some strange reason there is no sex?
Some of these post show us so clearly how wonderful His Grace is.
She wasn't raped, re-read the scenario in the OP.

Beckie was querying what happens when a female is raped. She doesn't want to accept that this makes them one flesh, and is why we STONED the rapist.
Well in that case, yes you're right, the solution is stone the rapist if the woman cried out. If they are wroughting harlotry in the land though, stone them both. These are the alternatives to them two staying married and trying to have a family the right way.

Not a question of Grace, a question of God's design and purpose.
Nobody is saying God can't forgive them for sinning, that's not our role.
We are saying God has told us that this is a sin, and we must avoid it. And he explained why it is a sin, and we believe it (or if I can speak for Sword it's "We", otherwise just put Me in there instead).

It's not a series of condemnations, it's an attempt to avoid pain caused by God's design being busted up.

According to the Scriptures, when a man lay with a woman, in any capacity, they become One Flesh. This is, apparently, part of WHY sex is a Capital Offense, since God wants two to become One, not 7 to become One.

My church has young adults below 15 who have been sexually active, and one of our young teens is now pregnant by one of our neighboring church's young men. It is the opinion of some of the men that the two should be married, and it is the opinion of some of the men that the two should not marry. Some in first reply have suggested adoption, and I know that some would even look past an abortion.

In the US, "legal" consent is normally no lower than 16. In Mexico I have heard it is 12.
Mary was probably 14-16 when she birthed Jesus.
Jesus says we cannot divorce.

I probably will have no say on this, but I want more help knowing how to talk about this.
Thoughts? Questions?
exactly how old is the pregnant mother and how old is the dad

what is the extent of their relationship with each other?

what about the parents of both of them would they be prepared to help them out with their grandchild or they dont want ? Are they living at home or they have their own place or what.

if they are under 15 I think they need permission from their parents to marry legally.

If that is what they want to do. You'd need to check with the courts what the exact ruling is.
If none are prepared to look after their child, what happens in my country is they get made a ward of the state and the govt looks after them. But before you think 'great' its not so great, they can foster the child out to complete strangers and you might have NO say where and when . They can uplift the child and take them for however long until they get their act together. Foster parents get paid, some are good but there are also not so good ones.

Foster parents look after children temporarily but can only adopts if the parents give permission for adoption
the child may want to be adopted, but if the parents says no, they cannot be adopted. Even if the child really wants this and has bonded with their foster parent.

You would probably need to talk with the families involved what they are prepared to do, and the couple and then pray for the best outcome.

the churches involved probably need a better sex education/relationship/parenting supports in place. Obviously for a alot of young people they dont seem to undertand that babies can come from having sex. Although admittedly some do know the facts of life, however sometimes its just in one ear and out the other!

Maybe they not paying enough attention in church or the sermons are too boring. I dont know.
What do you mean by "more conservative than puberty?" If God has designed a young woman to birth a kid, via providence or just by allowing a sinful will, would that be a mistake on God's part?
Because if it isn't, the condition remains: that she has become one flesh with a male, my desires set aside for otherwise, as the scriptures, Jesus, and Paul tell us pretty clearly.
I think I already explained myself with reasonable precision, as well as identifying the narrow scope of my responses.
I won't have time to get back to this thread; if you have any questions, I think they're answered in the posts I already made.

You take care.
Have a great week.

There is more to berthing/conceiving a child then menstruating . People are not born fully developed. We are not born as tall as we grow to be. We do not have the mental capacity a 6 months that we should have at 35. We develop, over time some faster then others. Some way slower. It is not a mistake on God's part that fools will not listen or use God given ability to understand simple biology .

The word Conservative doesn't mean anything to me. Do you think that older than puberty is conservative, or is younger that puberty conservative? For which nation?
Thank you for making a point that you don't think it worth much to worry about.

It think our Church is hemorrhaging holiness, and Young Adult Sexuality is not exactly a small part of that problem.
I also think we're gonna see thousands more cases like this in the next year, as Roe-v-Wade finally gets pulled down. The sooner the better.

But hey, all is well after we're in Paradise, so what am I doing anyway?!? Am I Right??

But it is Our mistake to comfort and hide sin, and pretend it's not where Jesus says clearly.

If the woman cried out against the rape, stone the rapist. If she did not but was consensual they can be married, or stone them both seeing as they are both guilty.

As for the gang rape scenario, this is actually covered in the Bible. Kill their whole town and put them to the Sword so sorely as Israel cut down Benjamin almost to their final man.

So when are you, yes you, going to step out and start stoning people? Depending on where you live you could find a "lovers lane". Doing away with those who you judge to be guilty of fornication/adultery . While stoning them you might find your self to be stronger in the law then Jesus, he forgave. Praise to the Living God for His Mercy and Grace.

Let's see now...the woman caught in adultery was forgiven by Jesus. Mind you, He did say go and sin no more. You, however propose an OT law on people that are under the New Covenant; the one forged by the blood of Jesus.
