Well currently you have the right to marry someone you love. They don't. And if you twist this to well "I can marry someone of the opposite sex and they can too its equal," then I'll laugh and ignore you. You as a straight person can marry who you want. You can marry the love of your life. They can't. Why? Because a secular nation is attempted to be controlled by radical fundies, using religious text to screw over others. Is what they're doing christian? No, but then they aren't claiming to be christian for the most part anyways.
Well then laugh and ignore me, because that's not twisting it.
What you are advocating is "special" rights.
That's not equality.
And so by "radical fundies", you refer to Christians who believe the Bible when it says things like "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood
shall be upon them"?
In your profile it says you are Christian.
If you're not a "radical fundie", what else could you be and still claim the Word of God as True?
