Complaining leads to depression.
Praise and prayer leads to joy and answered prayer.

Praise God for his attributes:
Attributes of God - Communicable and incommunicable
# Righteous and Holy
# Eternal - God's existence is from everlasting to everlasting
# God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent (God is everywhere, knows everything, can do everthing.)
# Justice
# Mercy (Psalm 101: Of Justice and Of Mercy I will sing.)
# Love
# Truth
# Trinity
# Alpha and Omega - Creator and Judge
# Perfect
# Immutable

There are complainers in the Bible but God deals with them. These include:
# Adam
# Job
# Abraham
# Moses
# Jeremiah
# Psalm writers

How are you doing today? Please don't rule out medical help. It can tide you through till the Lord starts to change your mind and heart.

I went through many years of depression, and reading my Bible, - especially the Psalms helped the most. God is in the transforming business. Instead of lying awake and getting more frustrated, open up your Bible and just read till God speaks to you. Even if you don't sleep, you will be getting food from the living source - God!

If you need someone to talk with I've been here many times. I've been depressed going on 9 years now. I welcome others who wish to chat as well.
