We have talked to one another and idk what to do since it is very open about not laying with someone as a wife that is not.

1Co 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. (celibate) But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Therefore if you plan on having a sexual relationship with her, get married. simple.
