No! DO NOT shove religion down their throats! It’s like a pushy used car salesman or any other salesman pushing something on you! Be there for them, SHOW them what it means to be a Christian, to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and what God truly meant by love your neighbor as you would yourself…love your enemies…and so on.

2 Timothy 4:1-2
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Matthew 5:16
Jesus said, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Philippians 2:3
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Bring up prayer, say that you are praying for them…and do it, pray for them as I will pray for you and your family! Heavenly father, lift this person up, strengthen them with your Holy Spirit, refresh their armor as they fight daily against evil, satan, temptation, and sin! Give them the wisdom they need and soften their hearts to your servant’s example and words. Amen.

Magenta, I'm confused, are you saying hell or heaven isn't real or doesn't exist on the premise that Paul never mentions one or the other? In the KJV of the Bible Hell is mentioned over 50 times (lake of sulfur, hell, Hades etc.), Proverbs, Matthew, Revelations, Mark, & Acts [to name a few] all mention a version of hell.

I think she means that Paul never used it to preach the Gospel. Not that it doesn't exist.

As said we can save no one. Seek God that He baptize you in the Holy Spirit. I see that you have not met Him in this gift. The Holy Spirit will empower you to pray effectively for all. There is no guarantee that every person comes to Jesus. God forces no one to do this. He does not make slaves. You must not carry these people but must lay them at the altar.

I was reading Mark and in chapter 5, I was struck by what Jesus said to the man who had been possessed by legion of demons. The man wanted to follow Jesus, but Jesus did not permit that. Jesus told him to go back to his family & friends... Jesus told him to do one thing: “tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you (v19). This man who had experienced God’s love and mercy shared ”how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled (v20).

I think that’s our task from the Lord. It’s pretty simple, share the love and grace we have received from Jesus. Jesus does not tell us to go save anyone. That’s not our job. We live out our lives and share our story of what the Lord has done for us. Perhaps they will laugh at us, but perhaps they will seek Jesus too.

God’s grace and peace to you, my dear brother in Christ.
