Or just keep it simple. Do you wait for the Spirit to pray, or do you pray whether you 'feel' the Spirit or not? Do you enter praise and worship only when you feel the Spirit, or do you enter praise and worship regardless of 'feeling' the Spirit? Do you not read your bible if you aren't feeling the Spirit or do you just read either way? If you're intent in dancing is a form of praise and worship why do you need to wait to feel the Spirit first when you don't operate that way in other aspects?
I do agree with you ugly 100% (and I agree with Kayem that I see a beautiful person indeed, despite the chatname) Praying, singing, dancing, etc are all acts of worship, when you worship you dont just simply feel, you DO. You act. Its a spiritual ACT of worship, again not just merely based on feelings.

Let God have you, and let God love you - and don’t be surprised if your heart begins to hear music you’ve never heard and your feet learn to dance as never before.” ― Max Lucado

PS: And I love dancing for the Lord, just sayin'

When we worship in our Youth Service we just dance in joy because we really wanna praise God. We know God is there when someone's speaking the unknown tongues LOL. And when I worship alone at home I just sing my heart out even when I don't feel it in the first place because I know the songs have been sung with love for Him and that it carries with it the praise you cannot express in mere words.

Just wanna ask this-- there are times I go home after work and try to read my Bible and do my worship and prayer and I just don't feel it when it all ends. I don't wanna do it in the guise of "I need to do this everyday" but is there something wrong when you can't feel it when you worship or read? The Spirit of course.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we MUST feel the Holy Spirit at all times, or else!!

If you spend your whole life just waiting around to 'feel' God's presence before sitting down to read the Bible, or before you dance, or whatever the case may be, how much time do you think you'll actually spend doing those things?

Unless you're so divinely blessed that you feel God's holy presence with you on a daily basis, you'll just have to do your worshiping, studying, singing, dancing, praying in faith- do these things for the Lord knowing in your heart that it pleases Him :)

Bear in mind we walk in faith. Faith is acting without seeing, or feeling. The same faith you have that God has saved you and transforms you is the same faith you walk in when you don't 'feel' anything when you pray/read/worship. God honors and is glorified through your faith and sincerity, not by your feelings and whether or not you get goosebumps when you pray/read/worship. So just keep doing what you know is right, regardless of how you feel.

I wonder if a church service has ever been so dead that God got bored and left

Ok why would someone want to dance in church?

Aren't there enough things already to keep men away from church?

Dancing is fine but not at church.
Yeah it should only be done in your room, then video taped and put on youtube

Yeah, true, i mean why have people expressing joy and happiness.. and worship at CHURCH?? thats ridiculous. we need to keep church more like a funeral. calm, quiet, unexciting. And save our expressions of excitement for the things that really deserve it like sports, or concerts, things like that, and not waste our excitement on God. geeze, some people!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

Church is not a nightclub.

There is a time and place for everything.

What about a bowling alley at church? And just have the sermon broadcast over the loudspeaker while people eat popcorn and drink beer.

Our God is a God of order! Not disorder!

Dancing at church is a sign that feminism has truly taken over the church and that modernism has become more important than sincere, reverant worship.

Yeah, maybe people shouldn't be getting up and breaking it down in the aisles during a sermon or prayer, but why not dance a bit while worshiping? Seriously, plenty of people even in a very conservative church dance a bit while they sing praises.

Tell that to David. He danced before the Lord, and God was so impressed by it He made sure it got mentioned in the bible. But hey, if you like your God in a box, enjoy your dead walk.
Also you're trying to compare an expression of excitement, zeal and worship with bowling. Apples to oranges anyone?
